Does it get any better than a very nice hotel that will take dogs and has great bedding and beds? Top it off with a continental breakfast that actually has HOT food and fresh cut fruit and that explains the reason we come back every time we are through the area! They lightly bleach their fluffy soft white comforters, pilllows and all the bedding in between every stay. The mattresses are just the right amount of firmness and the rooms have always been clean. Wifi is easy to hook up to as well.... Read more

Overall great experience. The amenities were lacking slightly from other Hampton Inns I've stayed at. Specifically, the gym doesn't have any resistance training equipment, and the office is just a little cut-out in a wall with one computer - but functioned perfectly. No complaints with the pool or hottub - solid.

We like to stay in this area of Wichita because it is right at a turnpike exit and convenient to the areas we need to be when in town. The cost of the room was fair, too. We always enjoy the breakfasts at Hampton.

Stopped here driving cross country for pleasure with one of my kids. Parking lot was well lit. Luggage carts available even though it was clear they were very busy this Friday night. Check in was quick, we used points for our room no hassle, clerk very polite. Beverage area by check in was clean & well organized. Clerk offered my teen son snacks which was very thoughtful. Room was clean, smells good, looks like new mattresses. Great for tired travelers. Highly recommend. Watch the roads around h... Read more

This Hampton is an accessible stop off the Kansas Turnpike. Property is clean, staff was friendly. Exercise room has two treadmills and one elliptical, all are Precor and up to date. Breakfast was standard Hampton fare, selection was a bit more limited, possible attributable to the fact that our stop was the middle evening of a holiday weekend. Food was not great, but still palatable. If you are a Costco member, the fuel pumps at Costco are between the property and the Turnpike entrance and... Read more

I've traveled for twenty years, but this trip was with my family. The staff at this hotel made our stay so enjoyable. Everyone here was happy, helpful, and made our stay wonderful. We picked a hotel with a pool, and I'm a Hilton member so I picked the Hampton. I bought a water gun for my son not realizing it needed three AA batteries. The hotel didn't sell them, but while we were eating breakfast they brought us batteries and the maintenance guy even installed them for us as it needed a screwdr... Read more

Hampton Inn was like a home away from home during our visit to Wichita. The staff was helpful and cheerful, the room was spotless, and the breakfast buffet well-stocked. We went during a busy sports week, so there were scores of young people staying at the hotel. Even so, our every need was addressed, and we especially liked the bedding system. So clean, and comfortable.

Nice place to stay for the money. Hotel was in a good location. A lot of restaurants in the area. We could have used a refrigerator in our room. Other rooms may have them but ours didn't. One of the women that was working late night was a little crabby but the desk service was very good. I would recommend this location.

After driving for 11 hours I checked into this property. Please note, I had just stayed at another Hampton Inn that was outstanding. This was NOT! I had to go down 3 extra times due to the keys not working correctly. I was told maybe the battery was dead. (what?) She finally gave me a different room. Once in the room I found out there was no fridge. I'm not sure if this property has them, but I really needed one. However, I was way to tired to go AGAIN to the front desk. The room looked tired. Staff: very polite and efficient. Room: super clean, bathrooms/towels have no stains and the water is always hot. Breakfast: wide variety of choices (homestyle potatoes delicious ) and the coffee was always fresh. Pet Friendly: NO PET FEE, put on first floor and close to exit (if rooms available so request early) Parking: They are doing some construction so parking is limited due to materials and whatnot taking up parking spaces, just get there early if possible and claim your spot.

I'm quite familiar with Hampton Inn and therefore had calibrated my expectations accordingly for our family trip passing thru Wichita. But I must say I was a bit surprised of the state the "Inn was in." It's not that it was dirty (it wasn't), and it's not that the workers were rude ( they weren't ). It's just that the building and facilities therein looked run down - and I think the management knew it. It felt as if there were 100 half-finished projects going on that never are going to be c... I stayed at this hotel on a spur of the moment trip en route to the Men's College World Series. The location off the Kansas Turnpike is easy to get to, but enough removed, so it doesn't feel like a roadside hotel. Service was great. The hotel appeared to be undergoing some type of renovation. We've stayed at many Hampton Inns. They are our preferred hotel chain. But this stay was disappointing; not quite as clean or well-maintained as other hotels in the chain. The worst part of the experience was a loud 4 am conversation two men and a woman decided to hold on our floor. Lots of swearing, with the two men demanding money from the woman. I would stay here again. the Internet was terribly slow and I couldn't access my Hhonors through my phone or iPad and tried several times. Breakfast was great, Check in was easy and they even allowed me to call ahead and put some of my colleagues names down as to check in as some arrived before I did. There are several reasons I like to stay in Hampton Inns. 1. Reasonable prices especially with a govt/military discount; 2. Clean rooms, common areas, dining area, hallways, and parking lots; 3. Excellent breakfast and coffee included; 4. Located near major road junctions for ease of access; and 5. last but not least, very friendly staff. This location meets or exceeds all of these, so I recommend considering staying here on your next visit to Wichita for business or pleasure.
