This hotel seems out of the way but is actually quite easy to get anywhere quickly. The staff are very courteous and the property is top-notch. I would very much stay here again next time I'm in town.

This Hampton inn is clean, but doesn't have the usual perks you come to expect for a room at this price. There is no mini fridge in the room and no microwave. Also, the lights in the bathroom aren't bright enough to be able to put my makeup on. The sink is situated such that I can't get close to the mirror to put eye makeup on either. The closet is half the size I would expect. Lights are situated that you can't see what is in the closet. Cleaning service didn't keep a good eye on things.... Read more

Do not advise staying here with small children unless you plan on dragging chair into bathroom so they can use the sink. Sink counter is too high. No towel bars to place wet towels on. Hand & face towels stored in cubbies behind toilet - ick! Bathtub in our room had been replaced with long shower.

This is the highest quality Hampton Inn in the area. Next would be the Hampton Inn in Derby, KS. The only down side is the distance from west Wichita, if you have business on that side of town. Local chain restaurants are fairly close.

I've stayed at this property a number of times, but it seems that certain aspects have declined in quality. The breakfast was the biggest standout in lessened quality. There also seemed to be a miscommunication in room types upon check in. I asked if I qualified for an upgrade, and received one, only to find out later, that I had been charged for the upgrade. Not a huge amount, but I am not accustomed to this kind of service at a Hampton Inn.

location was very good for our business meetings. We held preview meetings at the hotel. location is very good in regards to restaurant locations, free way access. Various retail stores close. Breakfast selection was ok. I did not use the pool or other facilities offered. Wi Fi seemed to work ok for those using it.

We booked a room and received confirmation through Upon arrival we discovered we had no room. A call to only compounded the problem. The agent was interested only in placing blame. When he expressed frustration about having to try to find us a room, we told him not to bother. Fortunately, Sharida at the Hampton Inn Wichita Northeast went far beyond the call of duty. She did find us a room, gave directions, and obtained a great rate for us. She is a shining star!

Best rates when you book online. Complimentary breakfast was o.k. T he oatmeal was cold and they ran out of bananas. And I could have asked to warm the oatmeal up & see if there were more bananas too. So my own fault for not asking. plus there was a young kids soccer team staying there for state games. But That wasn't the worse thing that could ever happen to our family. Other wise we have no complaints at all. Clean, friendly and the price was reasonable too. I'm sure our family will s... Desk clerk made me wait and just stared at me through the locked front door until someone else from the staff or it could have been her boyfriend as he did nothing but text every time I saw him was present before buzzing me in and told me I was supposed to use my room key. I said that I had not checked in yet and how was I to use a room key I did not have? Stay at Hilton chain almost exclusively and have never had this bad of an experience. When we travel we always try to stay at a Hampton Inn. This Hampton Inn in Wichita did not disappoint. Spacious rooms, clean areas, delicious breakfasts. It's very close to the event we were visiting with shopping areas very close. The attendants at the Front Desk were very welcoming and answered all the questions we had about the hotel and the areas surrounding Wichita.

Hotel is in what seems as a newer area of Wichita. Very convenient to the highway. Has several restaurants in walking distance. And many more with in 2 or 3 miles. Clean and neat, everything in the room worked. The elliptical machine in the workout room needs some maintenance. Breakfast had a good selection and the mini omelets were quite tasty. It was $30-$40 cheaper than the hotels rated above it on Trip Advisor. I would stay here again. Great value

I arrived at the property on early Saturday morning after they had locked the front doors. Nicely appointed facility...but front desk service was terrible. Upon entering my room the toilet was running. I flushed it and the bowl emptied out down to about 1/4 inch of water. Dining, shopping, private airports, Air Force base...this Hampton Inn & Suites is convenient to everything. Cabala's and Target are within walking distance and practically share a parking lot. While there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, "finer" dining is a short drive away. Hotel was clean, spacious and everything you expect in a Hampton.
