The Fairfield Inn is right near the turnpike Wichita East exit. Despite its location, road noise is minimal. The property is very clean and inviting, especially for budget travelers who are choosy. The free breakfast is typical with a couple of warm items, bread products, cereal, dairy, fruit juices and some form of sweet roll. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The staff is courteous and personable. The room was clean and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable as is usual for all Marriott hotels. The breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I spent the night here for a quick overnight staycation to celebrate my birthday. I would say this hotel was just average. Nothing really bad, but nothing really great either. All of the staff was very nice and the bed was comfortable, but the room could have used some updating and the breakfast wasn't very good. Overall, if I had to for some reason, I would stay here again, but only as a last resort.

The rooms are very basic and don't offer anything extra. Upon check in my credit card was swiped for $480 even though I paid through Priceline. It was only a pending charge but I was not aware of this. When I spoke to the assistant manager he became very upset and wanted to argue with me. I tried to defuse the situation but he continued to argue. The manager was very loud and totally unprofessional. I would never stay at this hotel again. I can not believe that they are associated with Marriot. ... Read more

This hotel is nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is sufficient but our room reeked of mildew, which made is seem like a poor value. I know these air conditioning units mold easily but at such a nice hotel I expected better.

We stayed here for 2 days for a girls weekend. We had to change hotels because the other hotel did not have the room we requested-we had dogs with us. The Fairfield Inn accomadated us so nicely. The room was great and had the coldest air conditioner of any hotel. They had great customer service. I would truly recommend this Hotel for any stay in Wichita. We were on the ground floor and it was very quiet!

My family and I stayed here for almost two weeks. First we were in a basic room with two double beds, then we were upgraded to a suite with a king bed and pull-out sofa. The beds were very comfortable, both rooms were nice and clean. We were very content here. We had our 2 dogs with us and liked that they were pet friendly and had a nice little outdoor area for pets. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had to call a few days after we checked out to settle an issue with my bank and hotel ... Read more

We stayed at this Fairfield Inn twice on a quick three day trip down to Dallas to pick up a rescue dog. This hotel was chosen because 1.) it's a Marriott; 2.) they allow pets; and 3.) it was a good stopping point between our home and Dallas. Our first night was a Tuesday, second was the following Thursday. We had our two dogs, a boxer and a French bulldog with us. The deposit was only $25, which was fantastic. We had no trouble getting our room, and they placed us near an exit door which is a n... Read more

We was not happy with the location that the Marriott members site suggested however it was ok. The pool was perfect from a long day of adventure within the Wichita area. The desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom did have black mold stains on the wall and the guest above us or beside us was smoking in their room and we could smell it but that's not on the hotel.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. We stayed only one night on business. It was in the location we needed at a good price for the quality you receive. My only disappointment was breakfast. The options were nice but they were out of a few of them. Having a hot breakfast offering is good but you have to actually have them stocked. Overall, I would go back again.

Fairfield is Marriott's budget line so I adjusted my expectations accordingly. But this one was a bit below even that standard. The bad: Walking into the hotel hallway for the first time almost completely overwhelmed me with the smell of mustiness. The room was less so, but still bad. The tub and toilet had rust stains. When I tried to take a shower the shampoo bottle was empty. Cleaning maids in the morning were quite loud in the room next door. Beds were way too soft and the pillows were ... Read more

It wasn't what we were expecting of this brand. We really thought it looked like a Days Inn when we pulled up. Of course, it didn't help that they were redoing the street in front. There were only about 6 cars in the lot. It looked pretty lonesome. Once inside, it was Marriott quality. The outside needed something, though. We had a good nights rest and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of items. Staff was courteous. Stay at the FI downtown if you want a really nice place.

I booked online and got a very good price on this hotel. I would say for the star rating this was very nice. I'm used to some not so nice at 2 1/2 stars. This place could use a little remodel. The wall paper was peeling in places the curtains were a little worn and my bathroom door had a ding in it. But it was clean and a large room. And fantastic breakfast. I would stay again.

We stayed here for a family wedding. Upon arrival, there was a large group of students here for sporting events. I was pleasantly upgraded to a king suite room when I expressed no interest in hearing kids running through the halls. The room was great with a king bed in one room and a separate living area. We used this room to have family over for a visit after the rehearsal dinner. There were 8 of us and we sat comfortably. Living room had nice size fridge. Bathroom was standard size with sink o...
