Amazing service, friendly people, award winning breakfast bar. The hotel was really cl ean. The front desk staff was very friendly even at 1130 pm when we arrived. The coffee was plenty in the am, the staff at the breakfast bar was very attentive to his guests and kept everything full and spotless

We stayed here while attending our daughters graduation. The staff was friendly. Loved to free beer/wine/appetizers they offer Monday to Friday from 5 to 7 pm. We had a large lunch the day of our arrival so this was perfect for us and we had a couple of beers with cheese, crackers and veggies instead of paying for a supper. Comfy beds. Quiet room. The only thing that could have made our stay any more perfect would be a bathtub (for a hot bubble bath), and pay for movies available. But thos... Read more

We are heading back east after visiting Colorado for a week and stopped at this hotel for the night. It is very comfortable and has a lovely pool and a great hot tub. My daughter and I stayed here while enrolling at KWU. It's a nice hotel...nice and clean. I just want to point out that this hotel is at the NORTH end of Salina...at I-70, near all the truck stops. I didn't realize that when I booked (my own fault), and I just wasn't familiar with that area. The room and bathroom were very nice and clean. The thing that surprised me was in a room like that, they had a "Motel 6" looking closet. It didn't look like it belonged in that room. Just cosmetic, b... Read more

We use HIX often and of course things can go wrong. Last night the toilet stopped working. (Tank would not fill.) Also this morning, we found that hair dryer wouldn't work. In both cases, we didn't want to get dressed again and have someone come in for fix or have to change room. I credit the manager for comping our room for the night...just like the guarantee says. Well done, HIX.

This was an overnight stay, from Denver, on our way back to Ohio. Could not have picked a better hotel. The staff, the cleanliness, the not tub shower, hot breakfast, and the heated pool and hot tub made it a complete last stop for my wife and I with our girls. I wish all holiday inn express were like this one.

I would say that this visit and this holiday inn express are what I have come to expect from the chain: clean, comfortable and quite. The only issue I had with the chain and it manifested at this stay was I was unable to use the app and book the stay. The app did not say what type of bed situation the room had just said standard or suite. I was traveling with my teenage daughter so I needed to know so I called reservations. My experience with the 877 number is where my frustrations really came ... Read more

I have stayed in other nice hotels in Salina until I found the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salina. Hands down, they are wonderful, clean, friendly. The staff is the best! Kay is always great at the front desk in the evenings! Nice hospitality from all the staff, especially at breakfast from Larry & Patricia! Rooms are clean, great mattresses for sleeping!

This Holiday Inn Express is one of my favorite. They have happy hour 5 days a week - free drinks and appetizers. Most hotels with happy hour only have them 2 or 3 nights. Definitely a bonus! Rooms are very comfortable and definitely conducive to getting business done.

I stayed at this newer property around Memorial Day weekend. We stay at this hotel every year as we travel on our annual road trip to see family in the West. The property is new, clean, and is staffed with friendly people. It is a distance down a frontage road from I-70 but is close to multiple restaurants. Because it's surrounded by fields and the closest neighbor is a good distance away, the hotel is quiet....just what you need for a good sleep. We'll be back in 2017.

Very nice hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Mattress was too firm for my taste, but that is a personal preference. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was good. Attendants working in the breakfast area were super helpful and friendly. Lanny even packaged us a couple of cinnamon rolls to go!

Very nice stay at the Holiday Inn. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is near the highway but off then main road and it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good with a good selection, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit, pancakes and of course those delicious cinnamon rolls. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely would stay here again if I ever find myself in Salina.

Great room and I use the handicap. There is one on first floor and second. I prefer first as it very close. We stayed last week on way to Branson and again on way home. We stayed last year too. I love that no pets are allowed. The breakfast was wonderful. Love the omlets, biscuits and gravy and rolls. Staff very friendly. Lanny came over to check on how we were doing and had a nice conversation with him. Very helpful and friendly. We will for sure be back.
