Good place overall, breakfast was typical, could be improved. Rooms clean, towels a little too small. Front desk staff was courteous and attentive. Location was convenient to where we needed to be, but being close to the interstate a little noisy, but ok.

Convenient location, very helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast all at an affordable price. Stayed on the first floor near the lobby, but there was no problem with noise. There was amble parking. Recommended for the business traveler (any one).

We stayed here while visiting KWU. We got in in very late, so I can't tell you that much about it. The room was clean and nice. This is a Hampton usually know what you're getting with Hampton. When we were there, we were the only ones in the breakfast area, and it was very clean and nice. Enjoyed our overnight stay.

We stopped here for the night on a cross country trek. For two weeks we have been staying in Hamptons and other Hilton properties and have not been disappointed. Sadly the Salina Hampton changed this. The lobby was very nice, similar in modern style to all the other Hamptons we encountered. The staff too was on a very nice and on par with the courtesy and friendliness we'd been experiencing. No problems here. As for the room, it was, well, what's the best way to say this? Clean but ugly, noisy... Read more

We arrived to check in about 5 pm after the first day of games. Front desk was very accommodating. We did not have any problem getting checked in and getting to our very clean room. room had microwave, frig and a coffee pot. Even a complimentary popcorn. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels. the free breakfast was average, but all the kids had fun making their own waffles. check out was simple. The entire staff was very friendly.

If you're traveling across the state and looking for a good clean place to stay near restaurants and gas stations, this is a good bet. Rooms are clean, everything worked well. On the downside the noise from the hallways and rooms above can be a bit bothersome for light sleepers.

Beautiful room, great service, good location in the new shopping and dining area of Salina. I asked for extra blankets in the middle of the night and they were promptly delivered by a very pleasant staff member.

This is a typical Hampton. Good clean comfortable room. Quiet. The employees were helpful and friendly. The main problem was arriving after the concert and finding NO parking. The clerk was leaving and let me take his spot.

Fairly quiet room for a 2nd floor next to the elevator. Good service and decent breakfast choices. Room was very hot upon arrival but air conditioner immediately took care of that. Enjoyed the fact of the small amenities provided such as ear plugs, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, makeup remover, shower cap , etc. the large clean king room met all of our expectations. Clean throughout. Would return.

At the crossroads of two Interstates, this property has a good bit of business from business folk and families alike. It is clean and comfortable but shows a bit of hard use here and there. Gas station across the street, big box shopping and dining just a couple of blocks away.

I had requested an early check in because we have an event to attend at 2:00 PM. We checked in between 1:30 and 2:00 PM. Without checking any records the person at the front desk simply told us that no rooms would be ready until 3:00 PM. I told him about the early check in request and ask him to check. Once he did check he advise that, yes, the early check-in request was in the system and our room was ready. Should not the front desk people check their records before making a blanket stateme... Nice staff , but I think it's time for an upgrade. My room was musty and the the A/C couldn't handle the humidity. I finally got the window open and turned off the A/C. The outside air was warm, but at least it was fresh . After the exceptional Hamptons I'd visited in the previous week it was disappointing. It was also about $30 more expensive. Can't figure out why it commands a premium. Next time I'll stay at the newer hotel next door .

This hotel lives up to the branding. Hotel was full but not busy or noisey. Clean, near dining and shopping. Fresh ice water and unsweetened tea plus coffee in lobby. Staff friendly especially Karen. Air conditioner was unreasonably loud thus we did not get sufficient sleep, was told the maintenance man was out due to health issues. Room was comped per the Hilton satisfaction guarantee. Would recommend. Stayed one night on our travels through Kansas.

Clean room, good beds, typical breakfast. Nothing fancy here, typical Hampton and little dated property but seems maintained. Price was right and sufficed for a place to sleep between home and Colorado ski trip in March. You won't be wowed but you won't be disappointed.

Ended up staying in four Hamptons over a five day period driving cross country. This one is average compared to some others but not bad. Rooms need to be updated a little (mainly bathroom and the carpet - the carpet felt kinda damp near the AC). The beds were really comfortable, and breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. The city is small but had several restaurants, a small mall, etc.

We have stayed here many times on our way to and from Colorado. It's a great with clean comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. It can be busy, however especially with young families so with that comes noise. After this last stay I'm always going to ask to be put in a room away from the elevators. We were right next to them the last time and it was very loud all night. But other than that we will continue with this as our stop for sleep on i70.

I was assessed a $250 fee, apparently for a cracked mirror in the bathroom, that I never touched. I probably should have brought the mirror to hotel attention upon move in, but assumed that since it was like that, they would have known. I stay there every weekend as I am working on property i own there. I have contacted management and now corporate, this is poor customer service, had I touched this mirror I would be responsible. This fee is unjust.

If you park under the trees be prepared for your car to be covered in bird droppings and the hotel will not pay for a car wash. Which fortunately you can get across the street at the gas station.

Salina's well-managed Hampton Inn represented their brand well during our one night stay, 9/25/16. Even with a linen issue, all front desk personnel acted professionally and with generosity on our behalf. This comfortably decorated property appears to maybe have been refurbished recently.
