Hotel looks very nice on website, unfortunately it is in need of repairs. Didn't get a suite and was put in a very small room and as soon as I got into my room Maintenance was knocking on door to fix light in bathroom. Should have been fixed before room was check out! There was no exhaust/fart fan in bathroom and A/C unit couldn't figure out if it wanted to stay on or off! would run for 5 to 10 minutes then shut off for 10 to 15 minutes.

This is an older hotel, which has been updated. The walls are not very soundproof or have adequate sound deadening material. At 11:00 p.m., we had to call the reception desk reporting loud music coming from the room next door. The HVAC system needs to be cleaned in the room we stayed in. You can see the dirt blown by the HVAC and deposited on the ceiling.

This old style Embassy Suites is attractive with the large open atrium. We were on a high floor but the noise from people at the bar in the center of the atrium could be heard from our room in the evening. If you were in the sitting room and someone was using the bathroom, there was a loud gurgling noise in the drain of the wet bar in that room. I mentioned this at the front desk and they said it was because of the design of the piping. We have stayed at this Embassy Suites before, and I never n... Read more

This Embassy Suites needs some updating. There was a strong cigarette smoke smell every time the heater came on. They brought us an air purifier, but wanted it back for other rooms. We got it back, it wasn't enough. Finally they moved us to another room after two nights that didn't smell. Let me revise that, they offered a different room and we moved everything without help. The tv in the bedroom didn't work, the maintenance man fixed it by sticking a ball point pen in a hole in the back. So the... Read more

If I could rate the hotel on their staff, it would be a 10. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean but our room appeared to be 'older' and in need of an update. Breakfast was very good. Overall, our stay was fine; I probably would stay there again.

I would not recommend this Embassy Suite. The room needs a complete renovation. The bathroom was tiny and cramped. The shower water pressure was terrible, slightly above a dribble. The service was very good. The atrium was very nice.

Very shabby for an Embassy Suites. Room was well-worn and furniture was "nicked up". Breakfast was very disappointing from the hyped hotel offer. Location is good - close to the interstate. I would not stay here again unless a massive upgrade/redo is done.

I stayed at this Embassy Suites on Saturday night. And they now offer a texting service. They text you once you check in and then you can just text back to the same number that texted you. About anything you want and they will do their best to accommodate you. It is a great tool and I checked out using it.

We stayed one night while in town to attend a Royals game. The living area and bedroom in the suite was spacious and clean. Although the bathroom was a tight fit, it was very clean. There were a few stains on the curtains and sofa but I suppose that's too be expected over the course of a hotels life. The staff I encountered were all very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices and an omelette bar. By far made the stay well worth the price of hotel.

ES by Hilton are generally awesome, don't get me wrong. But, FYI, the oddly-shaped, tiny "corner" rooms in this property are cramped, have no desk to sit at and work, and an annoyingly loud in-room A/C and heater unit. I had to use the small, round, 16" table for my laptop, and sit in the high back chair with my materials spread out across the bed. So, great property, just don't opt for the "corner" rooms.

In my former job, I stayed here a couple of times a month on average and was always very pleased. With Embassy Suites, you know what you're getting -- basic, clean mini-suite with lots of pillows. :) But the staff, from the front desk to the gentleman who cooks breakfast, knew me by name and were obviously well-trained in customer service. This hotel is clearly dated but is still a nice hotel. The furniture looked to be original to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and all of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. We enjoyed the food as well. We would stay here again.

If you are a couple or flying solo, this place might be okay. But if you are bringing your family, don't stay here. THE rooms are small and it is over priced, even at a discounted rate for a wedding who blocked off a set of rooms.

Had a great time. This hotel was very accommodating. Easy to get to. It was located near our destination. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. I love the arrangement of the room.

I really like embassy suites so I try to stay at one when I have the chance. This location was ok but far from the better embassy suites locations. The hotel staff was nice, the free evening drinks were ok, the breakfast was ok. My only complaint was the coffee machine was barely working and the breakfast attendant did not know how to fix it or brew more. Overall ok but I will choose a nicer location next time. Hotel is in need of serious updating. Very dated appearance. The ceilings were "popcorn," the carpet 20th century, the bathroom needs a vent fan, the toilet was not current in terms of water conservation, the TV's are old and slow, the wall coverings are dated as well.

The staff was very friendly!! The made to order omelets were amazing! Fresh fruit was great. The coffee was hot and ready. I was traveling with another female, and I liked the security of all the rooms facing the atrium. Rooms were spacious and I didn't have 1 complaint!

Hotel is beautiful. The kids were mesmerized. We were in town for a soccer tournament. There were a lot of kids running around and the staff was pretty patient with us. Great staff. I forgot to use my rewards and asked if it was too late they easily fixed me up.

Overall experience was good. The one negative about the location is not being able to turn left when exiting hotel, have to go right then U-turn at the light. Breakfast omelette was good. Friendly staff.

Topped off the trip by staying here. Came to town for a concert at the community college and the hotel was close by and a step above several others. Don't have a problem recommending this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Great hotel if you don't need 2 beds. This Embassy Suites..only offer 1 king size bed and sofa bed..but my preference would have been 2 beds.. they offer a wait list for 2 queen beds but it doesn't exist .

Worst Embassy Suites I have stayed in 20 years. Anniversary celebration marred. Small suites. Windows leaked cold air and bedroom was cold unless door left open to hallway. Manager's reception had poor, cheap snacks. Chips for dip were broken into such small sizes that it was impossible to use without putting hand into the dip. Coupons issued for drinks. Bar attendant served wine in small plastic cups and refused my request for wine in a glass. When questioned why, she said it was to speed servi... Read more

Great choice if you're traveling with friends or extended family. The rooms are spacious with a totally separate bedroom. The open atrium and glass elevators allow you to easily spot other members of your party, and there are plenty of chairs and tables where you can sit and visit. Nice hot breakfast with made-to-order omelets, sausage, bacon, potatoes, muffins, etc. as well as an evening happy hour. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. Very reasonable rate considering all the amenities and ... Read more

I stayed here for few nights and I thought it was a typical Embassy Suites. However, I felt the rooms were rather small and the walls were thin. When I Overland Park, I prefer Homewood Suites since it's more spacious
