Overall. Pretty good, travel to this area often. Decided to try a new hotel this trip. Overall very pleased with the amenities will try your hotel again as we travel to other areas. I need a handicap accessible room. It is good to have yours on the ground floor. thanks

Had a large group of relatives in for a three day reunion. It was a success in part due to the fine accommodations but also the staff that worked with us. The set-up for our meeting room was perfect. We would make this our destination for our next reunion or visit.

Since I checked in online, the only service I received from the front desk is to have her hand my key to me. If they provided digital key service at this location, I wouldn't even have to see the less than friendly desk clerk during my stay.

Hotel is nearby to shopping and restaurants. Quite locations. Easy access from I-35. Staff was very friendly and engaging. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. I will consider in the future for business and pleasure.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while helping our daughter relocate to the area. The hotel staff was very pleasant and check in and check out was a breeze. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. The bed was awesome! The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hotel lobby.

Beds were a bit hard for my comfort, but it was a nice area and hotel. I would recommend this hotel for my next stay. Breakfast was good. My kids enjoyed the variety of options, but I would like to see the breakfast have a bit more gluten free options.

If you're expecting normal Hampton quality, you will not find it at this hotel. Our room smelled bad, had dirty walls and a moldy shower. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was great, but I cannot recommend this Hampton. In fact, I am now afraid to book another Hampton for fear that it to will be "independently owned" with a license from Hilton

The rooms should have been redone several years ago and they smell!! I usually enjoy Hampton Inn's and I made the mistake of staying here again after my last bad experience but never again!!! There are many hotels in the area you should try one of those!!!

We found this hotel to be comfortable, clean, and nearby to our events. The staff was friendly and efficient. We chose this hotel because rooms were reserved for a wedding we were attending. The reservation process was easy. Also, there were several club sports teams booked that weekend but it was very quiet in the rooms and halls.

We had a reservation for 2 Queen beds, however when we arrived , someone had "overbooked" and we were given a king and a "free" rollaway. We also had a cockroach in the toilet and the staff insinuated we brought it in with us. Rude!

Worst weekend experience we have ever had. We always stay at hampton inn, but will seriously consider other options in the future. Rooms were dirty, shower was disgusting, front desk person was rude. Only thing positive was the breakfast was excellent..never stay there again

Pool way too cold but otherwise this is a fantastic family or business hotel. Great location and the quietest rooms we've ever stayed in. Have stayed in the past and will stay again on future trips to the KC area.

At first sight the hotel is very nice. It is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. When you walk into the lobby there is a very strong smell of chlorine. The hallways and elevator were clean. When you walk into the room you are immediately hit with a horrible smell. After reading other reviews I realized this was not just us this happened to. The smell was hard to describe but it was almost as if someone had smoked in the room and they tried to hide the smell but it was horribly mu... Read more

Typical Hampton Inn. We did not have a working A/C in our room. The overnight temp reached 85 degrees. Granted, I should have requested a different room but it was late, I was tired, I had unpacked and I had an early wake up call. I will not stay at this location ever again.

I stay in the Olathe, Kansas, area for work monthly and a coworker opted to stay at this location so I decided on a room as well. The cost was very high for a Hampton Inn and did not meet expectations at all. Older, dated rooms, no acknowledgement as a Hilton Gold member, no coffee or tea when I had an early morning departure. All in all, not worth the cost. I have had much better experiences at other hotels in the area and do not intend to go back to this one.

The front desk was unmanned for more than five minutes when we tried to check in. We finally tracked down a housekeeper who eventually found the front desk person. The room we reserved was unavailable and there was just a general sloppiness in management. Unprofessional looking staff, no name tags, crumbs left on hallway carpets for two days, room trash un-emptied. All small things that added up to an unsatisfactory stay. Rooms, breakfast, and location were fine, typical Hampton, atypical servic... Read more

I have stayed in several Hilton hotels. I appreciate the budget-friendly Hampton Inn. This particular location is on par with others I have visited. The breakfast was lovely, the staff kind, and the room clean. I will stay here when I have occasion to visit the area.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn was just what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. We had a pleasant stay. The hotel lived up to our expectations. We didn't have a "wow" experience, but we also did not experience any challenges. Overall, this was a great stay.

We have stayed in this hotel in the past and will do so again in future. Only issues were the talcum powder on bathroom floor and the vending machine dispensing opened product and then not dispensing after 3 more tries. Front desk attendant said they would " make a note of incident", a note is great for the vender but what about some credit for my daughter?

Place is tired and smelly. First thing that hits you is the chlorine smell from the pool permeating the entire lobby. Old musty carpets everywhere. In our king size room (nicely appointed though) we found a creaky bed, loose toilet seat and peeling paint in the bathroom ceiling. Worst of all was the in-room AC unit which is loud and either blasts cold air or nothing at all. 2 good things I can state - great location (but there are many other hotels nearby) and fantastic breakfast facility, selec... I like Hampton Inns, and have found the one in Olathe, KS, to be staffed by professional, cordial, and pleasant people My daughter lives in Olathe, and the location is perfect for visiting. The breakfast buffet is one of the nicest at chains in this price range. I have never had a problem. I will return.

Convenient location, rates around $100, can't go wrong staying here. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, typical items only without the terrible sausage patties. Room was quiet, next to many places to walk to eat. I'd stay again.

The property is overpriced compared with properties two miles away from interstate 35! I've been to the area 4 times in the last 2 months and of the other 3 I would choose two others before this one it's the most expensive and not outstanding enough to warrant a 40-50$ difference

We stayed here based on TA reviews. We were helping our son move into his new home in Gardner. The hotel is close to I35 which made it a quick trip to Gardner each day. The room was very clean, comfortable, and updated. My husband and I neither one had any issues with bed comfort. The weather was perfect....didn't need a/c or heat. Our family of four stayed three nights and things were pretty good. My only complaints would be that the air conditioner was extremely loud while it ran and the floors are really thin and not sound insulated. We had a room below us complain that our kids were jumping around, but they were only walking around (the person investigating the noise complaint never heard anything). The complimentary breakfast was really good. We used to only stay at Marriott, but I think we are Hilton fans now.

Typical Hampton Inn, great location for business as it's close to our office. Great choices for local food in the area, don't have to walk very far. Clean, comfortable, no issues. Have stayed at this location before, & tried other local motels chains. This location/chain of motels is far superior to other 'cheaper' lines. Good value for the total package.

Went to KC for a concert from out of town and stayed here for the night. Check in was quick and easy. Room was nice and spacious. We enjoyed our night there. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. One design flaw in the shower...the shower rod was curved and both ends were anchored sloping up. So the shower curtain could never close all the way and thus the bathroom floor got soaked. The shower worked well though. :) Didn't change my feelings on the place. Would stay here again.

I reserved two rooms for my daughter's 11th birthday sleepover. I really needed adjoining rooms in order to be able to monitor a small group of pre-teen girls. However, it was impossible as a Hilton Honors guest, to request this several days in advance. I recognize that there were other large groups in the hotel on the same date, but i just found it odd that there was no ability to move/shuffle room assignments in advance. I would understand if I was calling same day, but in advance and as a HH ... Read more

I recently spent one night at the Hampton Inn Olathe and was pleasantly surprised, the front desk had extremely friendly staff, my room was clean and the bed comfortable, I was really surprised by how quiet the hotel was, the area is fairly busy but I didn't hear noise. It seems the carpet in all the common areas may have recently replaced as it was very modern, colorful and extremely clean.
