Alarms went off and we smelled a burning from somewhere. Called front desk and the employee came up said yes I smell. We can get a deodorizer spray for you. We went to another hotel. We gave them a second chance and they wanted to charge us for the first nite at 50%. My husband said what?! Ok it's free. Hello the smoke alarms went off we moved from your hotel for safety issue.

I will be staying in this Hampton Inn every month through the end of 2016. This motel is quieter than most places I have stayed through the years. The rooms are always clean, smell great, beds are very comfortable. Staff is never far from the front desk and willing to help with anything I need.

I have never stayed at a cleaner, more comfortable, well maintained hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at ease in an atmosphere of cleanliness. We experienced a very pleasant, problem - free visit and the cost was very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the accommodations, and service rendered by the staff.

While traveling west for a conference, I made a decision to pick a motel chain to stay at during our trip. The Hampton Inn did not disappoint. This particular motel had all the amenities that we needed and more. The room was spotless and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will not hesitate to stay here again, should the opportunity present itself. Well worth the price.

I just made a 14 day trip and stayed in Hampton Hotels every day. The Hotel in Hays, Ks was as good as the rest, but my $100 dollar room came with a $780 hold on my credit card for 3 days. I called all the Hampton Hotels I stayed in and everyone claimed no knowledge of anything. After many hours on the phone, I tracked it to the Hays hotel. You can keep your rewards and I'll give my money to someone else.

I like Hampton Inns & in most things this one in Hays, KS is fine: clean, organized, good breakfast, etc. Small gripe but was annoying after a long day / extremely loud air conditioner so that I could not hear the TV except when the ac cycled off.

We've stayed at this Hampton several times over the years and have always found it to be among the nicer Hampton properties we've frequented. Front desk is super nice. Rooms and common areas are well maintained and spotless. Location is convenient to everywhere in Hays--a nice town. The only downside has nothing to do with the hotel: The blasted Kansas winds (I was born and I grew up in Kansas. It is a wonderful state. But the eternal winds literally blew me out of the state forever).

Stopping off in Hays on the drive West, we chose the Hampton Inn as our overnight accommodation. The hotel is modern, well-kept, and an oasis of cool and calm despite its proximity to the Interstate. The indoor pool is good quality, as is the hot tub, although our quick dip was rather spoiled by three children constantly yelling and diving into the pool, while their mother looked on. The welcome from the staff was mostly efficient, and round-the-clock fresh coffee was a real plus point. The ... Read more

Trip Advisor helped find this Hampton Inn, right off I-70, in Hays, Kansas. It is rather hard to distinguish yourself on the three mile ā??main dragā?? of Hays, as it appears there is no city planning, zoning or architectural review of store fronts. Nevertheless, TA had it ranked #1 in Hays, and we were not disappointed. It is clean, well-managed, has a nice comp breakfast, exercise room and rather large eating room for its breakfasts.
