The place was clean. We booked fairly late in the afternoon and the staff was very friendly and managed to get both our rooms next to each other even though one was a queen suite and the other an regular queen room. Breakfast and kept stocked and fresh. Overall it was a very enjoyable stop on a long trip.

Sleep inn from hays to goodland are owned by same owner. They r just fine. Room was designed nice. Shower worked good. Food is ok. Lady takes care of it. Check In was ok. If ur use to hilton u could be dissapointed at check in as she was listening to game on radio and cell. But didn't bother us as my husband was also following same sport game. Rooms are thin as other viewers pointed out. But we slept good. Bed or pillow was a little uncomfortable for me. If I had to go thru same area I would ... Read more

Many trips to Colby and am happy that there is finally a hotel that cares about it's guests. Friendly staff from top to bottom. Clean, comfortable, updated rooms. Convenient to everything, but then you can walk to just about everything in Colby. Good, hot breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, etc. Same selection every day, so if you're there for more than 2 days it could get boring. Good coffee but no half and half. Picked up my own at Dillon's. But it is yummy. Enjoyed ... Read more

We needed a place for our large dog to stay with us as we passed through. No problem. They were very accommodating with her. They have a nice little area designated for your pup to potty. Walls are a little thin and you can hear the people above you pretty well which is a negative. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is clean and new and staff was friendly.

We stay here every year now, as we drive back to Colorado to visit family. Clean - Nice People - Comfortable room & bed - nice breakfast. It's a great stop that we are so happy to have found...right off I70! Also, right next to Walmart and food options.

We stopped here on the way to Utah. It was nice and clean. There was a wonderful breakfast to pick from. No pool. But we didn't need one, but that would matter to some. I would stop here again on the way back.

Clean modern with a very friendly staff. The rooms a clean and comfortable with ac that can quietly keep the room at a steady temperature. The beds! Very, very comfortable. Bedside electric outlets for your phone. Very clean and modern bathroom including a comfort height toilet. This is the place to be if you must stay in this misbegotten corner of the universe!

There are not many hotel choices in Oakley but fortunately the Sleep Inn and Suites is a good one. Our non smoking double queen room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of towels and Internet connection was good. The pool temperature was just right. Breakfast offerings were varied and well stocked We were traveling with our dog and grounds were extensive for walking. Although the lush mowed grass has nothing to do with the quality of your stay, more than ... Read more

The lady who checked us in was awesome. She's one of the nicest hotel front desk representative we've ever met. The hotels interior/exterior was very polished. Their employees go above and beyond and it shows in how nice the hotel is. Oh, and we travel with dogs and they have a great pet policy.

Nice motel. Front desk staff was friendly and personable. Room is a bit small but comfortable and clean. Like most motels with interior entrances there is noise from the hall. Quick tip: there is no pool.

Driving to Colorado and Colby was a good place to break up the drive. Read good reviews on the sleep inn so we thought we would try it. We were very happy with the accommodations. Room very clean and staff friendly. Offerred extra linins when checking in because we had three small children.

We had traveled through a "Kansas dust storm" and were relieved to find overnight accommodations. The night personnel was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable but furnished like most hotel rooms. We had a very restful night sleep on a comfortable mattress. The staff prepared a complimentary breakfast which included eggs, sausage patties and links, gravy and waffles... Felt like we were in small restaurant with friendly workers. The price was reasonable and we would definitel... Read more

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Attempt at a modern aesthetic, which was a nice surprise. Very personable desk staff. Also, room to park larger vehicles or vehicles with trailers. And, best of all - pet friendly.

This hotel worked out great. I booked through tripadvisor for a good price. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was decent with plenty of seating. The location was ideal as it is right off the highway and near many fast food places. We ate at the Mexican restaurant nearby which was great! It was my husband and two 4 year-old kids sharing the room. We could have used a little more space. The walls were also pretty thin. Luckily, it is a quiet place.

Newer, clean, friendly staff, room was comfortable and quiet. A couple things I liked: you can keep the hvac fan on so the noise doesn't cycle on/off, the bedside clock is dimly lit so it doesn't bother you at night. Coffee was good in the morning. Otherwise, breakfast is your normal powdered eggs Etc..clean plates and utensils. Good choice for an overnight in western Kansas.

The Sleep Inn at Colby is the perfect on-the-road stop. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Even though we arrived at 10:45 p.m., the night manager was welcoming and professional. There was a little noise from other rooms and the hallway, so we did as previous reviewers recommended and turned on the fan. The white noise masked any outside disturbance. The full breakfast was satisfying, and we received great service from the worker on duty. I loved the professionalism and po... Read more

The majority of the time when we travel we stay at Marriott's. I have to say that I was not at all disappointed staying at this hotel. The room was cleaned, the bed was great, and breakfast was very good. The front desk staff may need a little help! When guests arrive at the front desk, they should end the personal call they are on or place them on hold. One last thing, please get some better towels.

We stayed for one night traveling home from Colorado. Typically we stay at Hampton Inns or Holiday Inns. Both in the area were booked the evening we were passing through, so, based on the TripAdvisor reviews we gave the Sleep inn & Suites a try. It was a good fit for our travel needs:a quiet room, comfortable bed, clean environment and sufficient breakfast. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. We had a room on the upper floor, away from the elevator, which was very quiet. All amenities in the ro... Read more

Great place--live music in the lobby, great welcome at front desk, excellent room, well lighted parking lot---microwave, refrigerator, free wifi, --and exceptionally clean room. Pizza Hut delivers, the Bottle Shop down the street has a good wine selection and gave us free corkscrews. Overlooks the darling Colby, Kansas visitors center built outside a grain bin. Great stopping point in the drive home!

We booked this hotel for an overnight stop on a long road trip. It was clean and comfortable and offered a decent breakfast. The room was a nice size and the staff was cordial, I would definitely stay there again. My only hesitancy in recommending the hotel is that it doesn't have a pool. We knew going in that this would be the case so it wasn't an issue for us.

The price is reasonable compared to other hotels in the area, and discounts are available. The room is clean. The walls are thin though. I listened to my neighbor's TV later than I wanted. You are near a Wal Mart and several food places. I walked to Arby's for a milkshake.

We stopped here passing through to Denver. Another property, highly rated, was full, so we came here. To our delight, we found a new, modern , quiet, beautiful property. Yesterday, I opted for a lower cost property in Kansas City, and paid the price in comfort and sleep. We were tired, and I opted for a small suite, with tax, just at $160. Again, the suite was great, quiet, and cool. The breakfast area spacious, clean and bright. The rest we got last night was worth the extra cost.

There are two types of hotels when you're traveling I-70. Ones where you can sleep under the covers and those you sleep on top of the covers. This hotel will surprise you. Not only can you sleep under the covers, you feel comfortable using the shower without flip flops. I usually get nervous staying in a Sleep Inn because the standards can vary from hotel to hotel but don't be afraid. This hotel is super clean. Breakfast is decent: sausage, eggs, gravy, waffles and danishes. Staff in the eve... Read more

We stayed the night here on our way out west for a road trip. This was my second time staying here and both times have been great. Clean, non-smoking, and friendly staff. ... But let me tell you what really sets this Sleep Inn apart from all the other interstate hotels out there: This hotel actually serves their hot breakfast with real plates and cutlery, not plastic and styrofoam kitchen ware. We stayed here on our way to Colorado. The hotel did a good job at honoring our specific room requests (near an exit, not near an ice machine, etc). There were not many cars in the parking lot, and I assume the hotel did not have many guests. In such a small town though, I wouldn't expect much different. Honestly, this was nice. Upon entering the room, the first thing we noticed was the smell of what I assume was pet spray. This didn't necessarily bother us, because we had our pet with us as ... Read more

We have stayed here two different times this year. Such a nice staff. We had a king room both times. The room was a little small, but large enough. The breakfast was like other hotel breakfasts provided. What made it stand out was the real plates and silverware and coffee cups. There were lots of plug ins that are so important today. We loved the walk in shower!

Stayed at the Sleep Inn in November 2016 on the way to Colorado. They allow pets which was a must for the trip and the beds were comfortable. The staff was courteous and friendly. The breakfast was average by "hot breakfast" standards but the dog loved the sausage we brought back. The television had an analog signal and was a subpar experience.
