I stayed here before when it was the clarion. The staff is friendly and respectful. The owners are respectful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. I would recommend this to any of my trucking friends who are down and need a place to stay. They offer shuttle to dealers free.

This hotel was a Clarion and before that it was a Holiday Inn. This hotel is way past due for an renovation!! There were ceiling tiles missing from the ceiling in the pool area. The TV in our room was very old. the whole room need a complete renovation. Look at the rooms of some of my friends, there rooms were just as bad. The breakfast buffet (joke!) food was served on paper plates, lol. The furniture in the hotel lobby needs to be updated. The van driver either never heard of soap and deodoran... Read more

We rented 5 rooms for family to gather to burry a loved one. The pool area was nice but in need of repairs. The skylight was dirty and stained, the ceilings were falling down and the roof was leaking when it rained outside. The rooms were dirty and dingy. Poor lighting, old tvs, bathroom sink was plugged up and the beds were the same as when I stayed there in 1985. The occupancy of the place was very low. The continental breakfast tasted old and stale. Overall the staff was pleasant but t... Read more

Enroute to central Iowa for a Memorial service, we stopped in Davenport for an overnight. While the check-in clerk was kind enough to give us a discounted rate (due to the funeral), it did nothing to soften the blow. The restaurant wasn't open, but we could order off of the bar menu. One bartender, 9-10 people, and the wait was a LONG time to get anything to eat. No problem getting the beer, hard problem getting the food to go with it. Room was nothing special, but the next door neighbors w... Read more

We had an issue with a reservation, but they handled it and helped us out. The manager named Todd was amazing. The hotel is very large and has a nice pool and hot tub and game area. The rooms were clean and nice. The hotel could use some updating, but the rooms are nice. They have a very simple free continental breakfast during the week with no hot food. The weekends, from what I understand, has a nicer breakfast.

The hallways smelled like cat urine, the kid pool was a dark color with bandaids floating in it - just to name a few problems. We checked out and went to a different hotel, but several people in our group asked for a discount due to the conditions of this hotel (and they did receive a discount). Save yourself some headache and do not stay here.

If you like creepy, dirty, smelly, moldy hotels that have homeless people literally jiggling door handles to get into your room at all hours of the night, then this is the hotel for you! Otherwise, take my advice and don't stay here ever!!!! It should be condemned.

I stayed at this Hotel about 8 months ago, for a Business Conference. The stay was pleasant. This stay was one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. We had a large group that reserved a block of rooms over three months ago. When I checked in I was Informed that the Ownership had changed. Keys didn't work, the breakfast was non existent due to a shortage of supplies. The second day 2 of the kitchen staff called in and someone in our group ended up making breakfast for our group. T... The place is ho hum, just barely ok. The room was clean but air conditioner wasn't working ..... it was much too late at night to make a switch. Breakfast was the best part of the stay ... lots of selection and nicely presented.

This is a very run down old property. Given how old it is they do a fairly decent job of keeping the common areas clean. Room I had was in very rough condition. Lots of sketchy people hanging around outside trying to get in. The doors that are supposed to need key cards to get in don't work and I was asked a couple of times if I was "looking to party" by some interesting women. The room I had smelled very bad and the bathroom was moldy. The staff is rude. I asked them when I checked in for a whe... Read more

We stopped at this hotel overnight while on a road trip. The hotel was very outdated. The TV in the room was an old school tube TV and it was stuck on one channel and the volume did not work. Not the end of the world but at $130 a night I expect a little more. The rooms were clean and they did serve a very good breakfast buffet.
