The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was very clean and had guest appreciation night. We enjoyed free wine, beer, appetizers, and massages. We found this to be a wonderful surprise.

The hotel was clean which is most important, but the room was starting to show some age. Parking was tough as the lot is shared with the casino. It's an average Holiday Inn. It's better than the Ameristar Casino Hotel across the parking lot.

We stayed April 15, 2016. There was a youth wrestling tournament in the area and the hotel was extremely busy during check-in. When my guest and I checked into the room we found a king bed instead of two doubles. This made the stay with my guest and me very uncomfortable. When we went back down to the desk to see if there were any double bed rooms available, the guest services person ?? Caleb, did everything he could to accommodate us with double beds. Even though the place was extremely b... Read more

I stayed here for 2 nights mid April on business. The bathroom sink would not drain, The work table was very wobbily. The TV would not come on with the remote. I had to power up the TV with the side switch on the side of the TV. The air conditioning was so quiet, I didn't even know it was running. When I asked for Honey with my tea the attendant stated that they did not have any but she would get me some. After I asked her about this later she brought me 6 pre-packaged containers. Why they didn'... Read more

We stayed here on April 20, 2016. A very nice Holiday Inn and provided us all of the amenities of home. Bed linens and towels were fresh, beds and pillows were comfortable and the large screen TV was very nice! Check-in was fast and efficient. Only a short drive to Eppley Airfield from here. Thank you for a terrific experience!

Very easy to find. Driving I-80 home from Denver and needed a decent place to stop. This was rated at 3 stars, but only priced in the 50 range so we grabbed it. Hotel is part of a hotel/casino complex that seems to be the older of a few casinos in the area. Room, staff, comp breakfast was really good. If we can get a deal, we'll stop back. Shout out to Carlos on the desk, great desk guy, fast fast fast...

Although we only stay overnight, It was a great choice during a long drive. Easy on and off, clean, good shower, nice bathroom amenities..lots of free parking, and well lit.. Caleb at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating and made our stay so much more enjoyable. 5 stars to him! We did see people in the indoor pool late at night. The hotel is connected by a corridor to a casino. Another plus for me! Breakfast was included and good. I would have stayed a couple of nights extra, ... Read more

We stayed here for one night. We checked in at just after 3:00, our room was not ready yet but they gave us a different one. Nice clean room only the TV didn't work. We called and it took over an hour to get someone to come up but they fixed it and were very nice. Breakfast was great. Wide selection of hot food. Good location for us very close to the zoo. Great stay.

I was in town for my son's baseball tournament after driving 11 hours from Ohio. I stayed one night - room was comfortable and the workers at the desk were very kind even though it was crazy busy with people in town for the College World Series. Upon checking out to move to a different Holiday Inn Express that I found closer to my son's tournament field site, I had difficulty getting my bank to release the "hold" they had put on my credit card because I had originally booked for 5 nights (and ev... I thought it was a nice place to stay. We got a good rate from TripAdvisor website. The staff was very friendly especially Caleb at the front desk. The free breakfast is way better than most I've had. They had a great selection of breakfast foods hot and cold. Waffles made from batter, bacon, eggs (scrambled and hard boiled), biscuits and gravy, country potatoes, bagels, sweet rolls, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee, tea. The lady that was keeping the breakfast stocked was doing a fantastic... Read more

this is a great example of the holiday inn express'. the newer modern design with an eye on the public areas as well as the rooms. the lobby is very welcoming and comfortable. the breakfast area is large and the food was good. the pool area was large with several tables and a hot tub. the rooms are standard for the holiday inns and this is a good thing. always spacious, clean and leaning towards modern. the hotel has several restaurants within walking distance and the casinos will pick you up if... We were on a multi-day road trip and spent many nights at IHG hotels...this was our least favorite. The common areas (halls, elevators, etc.) were not very clean. The breakfast was very crowded and they did not keep the breakfast items filled. We were told at the front desk that we could charge dining to our room but they neglected to give us the necessary card to do so. We stayed here to be by the river but they were painting the building so we had no access to it. On the other hand, they ... Read more

We chose this hotel mainly because of the convenient location. It's right off the interstate and close to the zoo and downtown. Our only complaint is the pool area and to be fair to the Holiday inn, their management may have nothing to do with it. The SMALL pool is in an awkward little building that is shared by 3 BIG hotels. The night we were there it was overrun with teens jumping and diving into 3' water...no parents to be found. (Maybe in the casino). No employees to find either. We... Read more

Our room was great for a little while...then we discovered there wasn't any sheets or blankets for the pull-out bed! It was later in the night, we called down to the front desk and was told it would be a while. After 10 minutes my daughter walked down there and spoke to the front desk person who said it would be an hour...to get sheets & a blanket...an hour at midnight!! So instead of using sense in this "no-brainer" situation...the front desk lady went on to help another customer and he was the... Read more

We stayed here one night for a wedding in the area. Overall our stay was perfectly average, the room was clean, great view of the river and downtown, breakfast was good. There were however a couple of oddities, the room was nearly 85 degrees when we first opened it up as the air was off and the shades were open, but it cooled off fairly fast. We checked in, changed clothes and left for the wedding and didn't return until almost 10pm. It was upon our return that we discovered our room didn't... Read more

Stayed just one night while here on business, but was impressed by the cleanliness and convenience of the property. Very close to Harrah's casino, Bass Pro, and several restaurants. Easy 5 minutes to downtown Omaha or the Henry Doorly zoo. Only downside is a small fitness center with treadmills needing maintenance. But value for price is very fair.

My wife and I stayed with our seven year old daughter in room 564 over Aug 11- Aug 13 for a family weekend in the Omaha area. Check in was a breeze and throughout our stay the front desk crew was great. We had a fifth floor room facing the river. The air conditioning was quiet and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. This hotel is connected with a hallway with the Ameristar Casino and the HI pool and hot tub are located off of this walkway. There is also an exterior sidewalk along the riv... Read more

Everything about this hotel was just first rate all around. Nice rooms, quality furnishings, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, good breakfast etc. Just a couple of minor complaints. The pool and fitness room are shared with the Ameristar next door. The pool was too crowded to be of much use and the water had a greenish tint to it. Interestingly, the fitness room was empty. There were signs pointing to a sauna but we could not find it. When we asked, we were told that the sauna had be remo... Read more

The location was great. Easy to get to. Next to casino (didn't go there). The only downside was parking. There is a lot of parking, but it is shared with the Ameristar Casino. During daytime and early afternoon, parking near Holiday Inn front doors isn't a problem. We arrived after 10pm the first night, then didn't come back to the hotel until late the second night and both times, we had to walk a bit to the front doors. Friday morning breakfast was a bust. They ran out of food and the worker... Read more

Clean rooms and pretty comfortable beds. We only stayed one night but the hotel was very accommodating. Our room was clean and the pool area is great for kids. The hotel was quiet and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was decent with a fair number of options, everyone was able to find enough to start their day. I liked that we could walk through the hotel into the casino area to grab food for dinner. Once we got settled no one felt like going out again to get dinner so having options right ther... Read more

We're not people who require four stars when we travel. Have we stayed there-yeah. Do we love them - yeah. But we don't require it, or even look for it. We usually give good reviews to places that is clean and bright and friendly. So what's up with this place? The pool area is really nice, but two things were tough for us - our room smelled horribly of mold. It was really terrible. We got used to it the longer we were in the room, but every time we entered it was gag-worthy. The hotel also share... Read more

We needed a place to stay for one night only while we were in the area to watch my granddaughter's college soccer game. We wanted a clean, safe place that was easily accessible to the interstate. My husband and I had a free stay here from an auction we bid on. The check-in was slow despite the fact that we were the only ones checking in. Maybe the staff was new, but they seemed confused. The hotel could use some up-dating. Upon entering our room, it smelled moldy. Had we actually paid for the room we would have complained, but since it was a free stay we didn't. It is in a convenient location and attached to the Ameristar casino. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.

Just getting around to this review. I stayed here in mid-June while my son was playing baseball in an Under Armour tournament nearby. I was charged way too much because it just happened to be during the College World Series. Over $200 a night for 6 nights, and that was with a "discount" through my son's tournament sponsor. I can stay in a 5 star hotel in Arizona for not much more than that! Room was average, close to elevators which was actually ok. It was around the corner, so not too much noi... Read more

There is an enclosed walkway to the casino which really was handy as it was raining. There are three places to eat in the casino so it is not necessary to leave the area for food. We stayed one night in mid September. We decided to stay here to be closer to the airport for an early morning flight to Mexico. The rooms have been updated and are really nice. We were able to leave our car parked at the adjoining casino during our trip. The staff transported us to and from the airport. Both our drivers were extremely nice and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

The meeting rooms were nice and the breakfast was ok. If you are looking for close proximity to the casino, this is adjacent and right at the casino. The main downfall was the room. The room had issues with the shower and the furniture. We had a large group, so I am sure that not everyone's room had these issues. We were in a suite and had these issues, so that was a bit problematic for me.

It was nice that there was an area that you could go out and sit at overlooking the river. We will definately be staying there again when we head that way for another girls night out.
