It was pretty good except their idea of a continental breakfast was oatmeal and apples. The only hotel I have ever been at that did not have real food.

Passing through. Close to interstate and easy to access. Glad to see was a pet friendly property. Nice room for the price.

This hotel is "tired" and desperately needs some TLC. That being said, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We left before the breakfast hour, so cannot comment on that. We were going to stay at this property on the way through both legs of our trip, however, we did cancel the second night and stayed at another property. There was supposed to be wi-fi, but we could not get it to connect.

We booked this room online. When we arrived everything was fine with checking in but yet it seemed a little sketchy. The front desk lady told us where breakfast was but suggested we go some where else to eat... We stayed here because we had an early flight the next morning and need to be up at 4:45am. When we opened our door to our room (on the first floor) it had a nasty smell almost like animal urine and smoke combined. Let me remind you it said non-smoking room. The floor is very dirty my fee... Read more

Sad, tired, stinky, old motel. They seem to be catering to untrustworthy guests who also smoke, as there is nothing that is not nailed down in the room. The room stunk so badly that I could not imagine spending the night there and simultaneously breathing. No vacancies, so no chance of a different room. They brought some kind of ionizer and sprayed with something that helped a little, but I wanted to leave and find anything else. Nothing in the area of course, as it's Memorial Day weeken... Rooms were clean. Could hear everything going on in the hallways though. Breakfast was not very good...they only had oatmeal, cold cereal and some fruit. Not worth the $80.00 per night that I spent

This property has at least 3 entry doors but only one is accessible from the outside. Very inconvenient when your room is at the end of the hall furthest from the entrance but quite close to the door at the end of the building. The location of our room might explain the poor wi-fi reception. They offer two separate routers but neither signal was strong enough in our room to make access usable. We had to resort to our cellular connection.

The property needs updating, and soon. The outside looks nice and clean. We had a non-smoking room. The inside of the building, and our room reeked of smoke and seemed quite dirty. Our bathtub had stains on the walls, and several hairs in the bathtub. The bed linens were stained, possibly unwashed. The comforter/bed cover was very worn and thin, as was the blanket. The carpet was sticky and we actually put our shoes back on to keep our socks/feet from getting filthy. We were told at check in t... Read more

They make a copy of credit card. Who does that anymore? Very disturbing. Breakfast is the same biscuits and gravy everyday. There was still a used coffee packet in my coffee pot when we arrived and only on the third day of the stay was coffee provided to use in the pot. Internet was not acceptable for basic use and it made it impossible to get any work done in the room.

The motel was pretty much as expected. It's a low-budget motel and you get what you pay for. Here are the negatives, followed by positives. I was quite surprised to see that the motel charges a daily rate to use the safe that is available in the rooms. Really?! That's absurd. They tell you that they can remove the charge if you won't use the safe, but they have no way of knowing whether you do or don't so it's ridiculous. The breakfast was pretty poor and the coffee that's available 24 hours a d... Read more

We stayed here for one night and to be honest, we tend to call ourselves hotel snobs in a kidding way but it also has a measure of truth in it. We checked in and the person at the desk was very nice...adjusting our reservation to a non smoking room as we incorrectly reserved smoking. The room itself was dated but everything seemed clean. The hotel is close to the highway but we didn't hear the cars. The bed was very comfortable and as a matter of fact, we had one of the best nights sleep we'... Read more

My wife and I are admittedly "Hotel Snobs". Days Inn normally wouldn't have been our first choice. However with the College World Series and USA Olympic Swimming Trials in progress ... rooms were at a premium. The prices were ridiculous! We selected this location because of availability and price. First of all ... the location is VERY convenient! Literally a block (if that) from I-29. Our room was on the top floor and closest to the Interstate. We experienced no highway noise at all. I recently stayed at the Days Inn on 9th Ave for a concert taking place a couple miles away. The staff was helpful and courteous and arranged transportation. The room was decent but we did find a half empty Mr. Pibb in the fridge and there was only one very tiny trash can in the entire room. I have stayed at many Days Inn and really enjoy the breakfast but this was nothing like any other Days Inn that you stay at. Your only options were sausage and biscuits, cereal, and yogurt. I was a little... Read more

The hotel rooms decor was Laughably not updated since the late 70s. All fixtures etc. but beside that the entire hotel outside the rooms were stifling hot and smelled of "must". Also on a seperate issue. I have a service dog. I don't like being bothered about it as you can imagine it's bad enough to have a disability. So I notated it on my reservation. Then I had a friend call and update my ETA once again making sure they notate my service dog. I check in and present his paperwork. The man was ... Read more

This Days Inn is old and outdated. However, it is clean (the biggest thing is the beds are clean). The breakfast is what you'd expect... average for a place with this price. We really just used it for a place to rest our heads for a few hours, so it got the job done. I did indicate a non-smoking room on my reservation, and I got there only to be put in smoking. However, I did complain and was switched to a non-smoking. Overall, it's average.

I am usually very optimistic about hotels , although the poor rating on this hotel fits. First you can see the hotel sign from the highway then to get to it you have to turn off 9th street through one of the two abandoned businesses to get to it, There is No designated entrance. We just needed a place for the night and that is all this hotel is. There is only one way in and out through the small front entrance. then we were in the second floor and not only no elevator but you had to climb one se... Read more

Over the past few months I have been witness to some great improvement in the hotel. They have added some new staff that are very friendly and helpful. They have added biscuits and gravy and I was REALLY REALLY surprised at the fact that they are really good. And now they have biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, toast, juice, cereal, milk, coffee and they had apples. Jessica the manager is still amazing and does anything she can to make your stay the best she can. With new owners this hotel is getting... Read more

This place was sketchy. Bar wire fence around the hotel, not on a good side of town. Beds were very uncomfortable. Box tv. It needs major renovation. Only good thing was the biscuits n gravy. Couldn't get more towels or pillows.

It's a rarity that I give a bad TripAdvisor review just out of respect for how negatively it can impact the business however I feel that this one was warranted. I should have known something was wrong when we pulled up to check in and the parking lot was empty. I normally take my chances, and for the most part have had good experiences with the Wyndham chain of value hotels. Trust me, I'm not one of those reviewers that expect a Ritz-Carlton experience at a Days Inn price. Let me begin by d... Read more

It's a Days Inn, so I'm not expecting a 5 star experience. But, hotel appears outdated, looked like a sketchy area and the hotel grounds reflected its surroundings. This was the second Days Inn I stayed at on this trip and the forth Wyndham property of the trip. Each of the hotels we stayed at were all similar condition and downright awful breakfast offerings. For the price we paid I would expect better. Staff was nice and accommodating at 3 of the 4, including this one. However, I would l... Read more

Happy with price, location, and customer service. However, the room smelled like it had been smoked in. Told the clerk and was told that smoking rooms were (4 only) at the back of the hotel. Clerk didn't really address my concern. Breakfast was slim at best in regards to choices.
