After a long road trip it was a beacon of light to see and stay at the hotel. The staff was great, room was absolutely perfect and the warm breakfast was a bonus. There is nothing nicer than a good night sleep in a clean bed, nice shower and then breakfast before moving on.

Room was nice and clean but checking in wasn't all that pleasant due to the fact that the front desk person could have gone to a guest perception class or something. Nothing like arriving and wanting to get to your room while the clerk sitting on their cell phone gabbing for about 3 minutes which seems like 15 minutes.I would return here and recommend it to others.

Great hotel, but price was a bit high for a Hampton. We were looking for a place to stop for the night in Council Bluffs and other options were sold out, so we chose this one that was connected to the (I think) Ameristar Casino. We didn't use the casino, but if you are going for that, this hotel is super close. Room was nice and comfortable. Check-in was quick, pool and hot tub were great, and breakfast was standard Hampton fare.

My husband and I spent the weekend here. It was a convenient location and the room was comfortable. A little pricey because it was the weekend and there are casinos nearby. Overall a nice pick for us.

Our stays at Hampton inn in council bluffs has always been great! The only complaint I have is that the grips on the tub floor were extremely dirty. The staff was very friendly and helpful on the night staff.

The hotel front desk was great but it was downhill from check in. They were very helpful in finding a place for us to have dinner. Lobby was up to date and clean. Our room appeared to be good util it took over two hours to drain the tub after the children took their bath. The drain in the sink also failed to drain for quite some time. When I called the front desk they said the room had been recently remodeled so there must be a problem with that. They would be glad to change us to another ... Read more

This hotel is in a good location if you are traveling on I-80. The room, along with the bathroom, was clean but smelled as though someone had been smoking. The bathroom door was warped so it did not close easily. The breakfast was okay and the staff was friendly.

The bathroom was dirty. Hair on the floor from prior guest(s). The bathroom light switch was broken. The air-conditioner did not work properly. We walked into the room and it was freezing. I turned the setting down. About half an hour later it was getting hot and stuffy. The air-conditioner would not come back on. Guess what? Middle of the night the air-conditioner starts blasting again. This hotel looks like it is overdue for a major remodel. Scuff marks on the walls. Elevator w... Read more

Nice hotel, good location, clean, excellent staff, typical Hampton in rooms and amenities. Breakfast is also typical Hampton. We were just passing though on this trip so this was a a no brainier because of the consistency of the Hampton brand.

We loved this hotel. It is beautiful and staff is very friendly. We loved the easy access to casino and sports bar. Parking and check in was a breeze. Breakfast was hot and there were lots of choices. Rooms are very clean and comfy. The beds are so comfortable; probably most comfortable of all hotel chains we have stayed. A great value!!!

Great location with easy access to the highway. We went to the Omaha zoo and were less than 3 miles away. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had recently with a wide selection of items including eggs, potatoes, and sausages. The room was clean and well maintained. It was within the grounds of a casino but we did not go in to see what was there. The parking lot seemed somewhat small but I guess it was all that was needed.

Not the quality I have experienced in the past at Hampton Inn. My bed was uncomfortable, bathroom in need of repair. When I inquired on changing rooms I was informed the hotel was sold out. I will shop hotel chains going forward.

Pros: connected to casino, good breakfast, quiet, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, good location, pool, and a GREAT hot tub. Cons: Expensive! For that price I would have expected a better bathroom with good towels, etc.

Low value for high price. Reservation stated oversized room overlooking Missouri River with full Kitchen. Actually received a room overlooking the parking lot with a sink, microwave, and mini-refrigerator. Staff was very unhelpful. Food service was poor. Room was clean. Pool was nice. Shuttle service next door to the CWS was nice, once we discovered it. We were not told about it upon check in.

This hotel was very nice and had comfortable rooms. My one complaint would be the pool. It was so high in chlorine that my son couldn't swim very long because it affected him. They need to check the levels more often. We had a nice view and the breakfast was pretty good.

Staff was extremity helpful. They go the extra mile to help out, no issue is too big or two small. Ask and you will receive! Thanks for helping out family! We inputted or stay. It is minutes from downtown Omaha the zoo, the museums, and shopping is minutes away on Council Bluffs. It's connected to the casino s well making this one of the better values in the greater Omaha's/Council Bluffs area.

I was in Council Bluffs for work. I was actually helping with a nationally recognized bicycle trip across the state. I spent all of Saturday in the extreme heat and sun. The Hampton Inn was very accommodating when I arrived. Whenever I travel, I try to stay in one of their hotels as it is always the same.....perfect. Please keep up the great work. You make me feel like I am at my second home.

I like to stay at Hampton Inns and Hilton Honors because the staff and patrons are always happy and courteous to weary travelers. The accommodations are terrific , with a casino and various restaurants to choose from in the complex which is directly attached to swimming pool, fitness center, attached to beautiful lobbies and amenities.

Easy access to highways, modern and clean rooms. Complimentary WiFi was sufficient and staff were very personable and helpful. Hotel is also attached to the Ameristar casino but is the anchor so to say and therefore you don't share the parking lot with the casino.

We picked this Hampton Inn because it was less expensive than those in Omaha, NE, across the river from Council Bluffs. We were NOT disappointed at all. In fact, we think we got the better Hampton Inn by staying here. Our room overlooked the Missouri River. We felt like we were on a cruise ship with the view out our window (that is a good thing!). Folks were helpful and friendly. Checkin easy, as always. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn. Clean and comfy.

The property is in good shape, though isolated from any real neighborhood. Its back to the Missouri River, it stands surrounded by a casino, the intersection of two interstate highways, and a Cargill grain plant. Try to get a top floor facing the river, it's quiet. Room 500 smells pretty heavily of cigarette smoke, though I'm told the hotel is entirely non-smoking. Very easy access to the freeways. About a 10 minute drive to downtown Omaha.

Just a top rate hotel. Staff was exceptional. Room was in great condition. Got free bottle of water and some Halloween candy. Poor quality for a Hampton Inn. This hotel is showing its age and the staff on duty when we arrived didn't seem to care about their jobs of looking after the guests. Overall, poor value for the price. It is time for this hotel to be upgraded or taken off the Hilton company of hotels. It may be because of the location near the casino that some people don't care about the quality, but I have stayed at many Hampton Inns that are better staffed and have much nicer and cleaner rooms.

This was a one night stay on business in the Omaha area. This hotel is significantly less expensive than those in downtown Omaha. The stay was fine - nothing special but typical for a Hampton Inn. It is right by the river and the parking lot is pretty low lying so it could be affected by flooding if the water is high.
