We had no problem at all when staying at this hotel. Everything was great. The breakfast was awesome too. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It is in a perfect area also. This hotel is perfect for parents of IWU students.

Staying at this Inn made seeing our granddaughter graduate from Indiana Wesleyan more enjoyable as the service began at 10 am local time and we live 2 1/2 hours (120 miles) away and on the other (9 am starting time) time zone. The accomodations here are very nice. We stay each year for IWU's grandparents day also.

I stayed at this hotel because of the location to where I needed to go the following morning. The staff was very energetic and helpful. They gave directions to where I was going and had listings of places to eat for the evening. The room was very clean. The beds and pillows felt better than home! I recommend this hotel highly to travelers.

Friendly and courteous staff, clean accommodations found in Marion at the Hampton Inn. Bathroom could use some updating due to wear and tear, but overall would recommend this hotel for business or leisure.

We stayed for a night in order to go to the Indy 500. This is an older Hampton Inn, but don't let that deter you. It was immaculate! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and the breakfast offering was top notch. Rooms are quiet and nicely furnished. Lots of great dining options in the area.

Great price for accommodations and service. Safe, clean facilities, efficient professional staff. Extremely comfortable beds, pillows and fresh linens. This location is consistent with the high standards of other Hampton Inn across the country. Will not even consider staying in any other hotel.

Our Reservation of 3 Queen Rooms was changed to three King Rooms with Pull Out Couches, for 6 Men. We were not informed via email or phone call of the change and were automatically switched by the staff because they were overbooked. The Pull Out Couch was extremely uncomfortable, unlevel, and missing the support springs for the mattress. I still have a sore hip from sleeping on the bars and a swollen left foot and ankle. Only downside is carpet needs cleaned. Very comfortable beds and room. Our King Study came equipped with microwave and small refrigerator which was very nice. Friendly staff. I recommend this Hampton Inn.

I visit Hampton Inns on a regular basis and this is one of the worst ones that I have gone to. The decor is not up to par with other Hampton Inns and looks like it has not been updated in several years. The lobby and hallways were not as clean as I am used to seeing at Hampton Inns. Kind of had a bad smell too. The receptionist was not as friendly as I have come to expect from Hampton Inn and she did not give me my Hilton Honor bonus that I normally get when checking in. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Sleeping on this bed was divine. I wish we could take it home with us. We slept in a cloud of comfortable softness with our heads snuggled on multiple pillows and covered with a fluffy comforter.

I rated this facility as being average as there is room for improvement and was told by staff during my check-in that they had been slated for a major renovation in the near future. It's just starting to show the wear and tear of years of guests coming through the doors - AC units not operating at maximum capacity, room furnishings starting to deteriorate, etc.

The room was clean, the functionality of the bathroom was not great if you are average height or short as soon the sink was free standing and higher than most abdominal curved out in front of the bowl making it wider therefore harder to reach and lean over to wash you face. The overall hotel was OK but over priced.

We have been to several Hilton properties including many Hampton Inns and this one disappointed somewhat. The first thing I noticed was the unattended-to landscaping. The interior was nice and clean and inviting as was the room. The bed was superior to that which we have had in the past and the television and air conditioning offered everything we wanted in those areas. As I booked our rooms I asked for two connected rooms. A king bed room for my wife and I and a double queen room for my children. The guy I spoke with during booking said he could accommodate my request. As we checked in one room was across the hall not connected. Great hotel in quiet street yet only minutes from the Universit.. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean with big comfy bed. Large bathroom has a bathtub, separate shower and toilet with plenty of space to move around. Complimentary coffee in the foyer every morning and cold drinks very welcome after a long day out. We stayed overnight. Quite nice. Up to the Hampton Inn standard. Checkout the wood paneled pool room, walls and ceiling. WATCH OUT for the two SPIKES in the road surface as you exit the parking lot into Highway 9. It looks like they would shred a tire!!!!!!

Hotel refused to cancel my reservation even though the policy says cancel before 4 pm day of reservation. The customer service was the worst hotel experience I've had. I travel multiple times a month and have never had trouble cancelling or changing reservations like this.

Room was nice albeit small. Staff was attentive. Many amenities I didn't use. Just stayed there for the night. Got there after 8pm was gone by 5am. Was generally quiet and got some good sleep. Was out of there the next day, just left my key on the desk since there was no one at the desk. Left too early to enjoy breakfast but thankfully the coffee was ready!

I found ants crawling on the wall. I was okay. Then, i found one on me. I had to purchase disinfectant and bug spray after being moved to a 2nd room. Otherwise, the service was great. The staff was couteous and helpful.

Stayed in this Hampton for one night while passing thru the area. The location was very convenient, the afternoon staff was very accommodating. The hotel itself is an older hotel, but well maintained. I requested a military discount, but found it did not compare to the military discounts at other hotels. The king size bed was comfortable

This hotel as far as facility and check in staff is good; however, if there is a problem during your stay - expect to deal with a non responsive and non attentive management (including the "guest relations manager") which results in the 1 rating. Very disappointed and chose to stay at this Hampton because of the name; however, I should have stayed down the road at another property.

Wonderful staff. Much attention to detail and multiple indications that the staff/hotel cares for its guests. The room was very clean and spacious. The front desk person graciously helped me get my HHonors membership applied to my room.

I had called and made a reservation for two days. I asked if we could be placed near the pool and the lady on the phone said that would be no problem. When we arrived at the hotel we were placed on the third floor on the opposite side of the pool. My wife and I had gone to work in the morning of the first day and had received a call that my children were in the lobby and had been kicked out of the room. Hotel was nice. Omelets, sausage, and waffles were hot for breakfast. Bacon would have been nice. Indoor pool was nice and clean. Rooms were just normal but there was plunty of room for our packnplay. Hotel staff was really nice! Don't eat at King Gyros it was gross.

I stayed here for a week on business and I was really impressed with the accommodations and friendliness of the staff! They have hot breakfast every morning, complimentary home baked cookies for the guests, and the room was very comfortable. My room had two queen beds including a microwave and fridge. It was a very nice stay. We always like staying at this hotel when we are in town. The rooms and beds are super comfortable, and the staff is always welcoming. It is easily the nicest hotel in town! I highly recommend this hotel.

This is the second time in a year I have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is well maintained, rooms are clean and staff is friendly and helpful. If you need to stay in this area the hotel is easy to find; chain and fast food restaurants are easy to find within a short drive.

Food poor beds hard air filters needed changed. Hotel price was very high for the quality of what you experienced. Complimentary breakfast was very bad, we left and ate at a restaurant. Woke up in the middle of the night unable to breath due to poor air quality.

The Hampton Inn in Marion us Ok, but overpriced for the area and for what you get. Maybe it was the weekend we stayed (college move-in). We will check around next time. Breakfast was minimal, room was dark. Just not what I am used to as a frequent Hilton/Hampton Inn customer.

This was our security me visit in 5 months and we were disappointed with the decline we have seen in this Hilton branded hotel. The biggest issue was with the room which we were upgraded to as they were overbooked for both days we stayed. This hotel is dated, but clean. The breakfast extremely limited and some food items soiled. The staff was more friendly than usual which is the best thing I can say about this Hampton Inn. I will not stay at this Hampton Inn again as there are other hotels in the general area that I would choose.

We stayed overnight while visiting our child at IWU. The room was clean and quiet. The lobby area is large and welcoming. Breakfast was normal breakfast food...there were many eating at the same time and it was hard to keep up with the hot entre. The indoor pool and spa are also very nice. Was very surprised to see a handicap lift chair for the pool. ??? The staff were friendly and hard working!

Very disappointed in the quality of room and this hotel in general. After being in my room for about an 1 1/2 hours barefoot my feet were extreamly filthy and when I showered dirt and grime just was seeping off them because the carpets were so soiled. Like I said try somewhere else.

Air didn't work and no hot water in the shower at 7am in the morning. Was very inconvenienced and after checkout was told I would receive a follow up call by a manager that wasn't in yet. To this day I have yet to receive a follow up. thats why I stay at Marriott. Had to stay here because the Kokomo courtyard was sold out.

Stayed for business. Hot breakfast was great-loved the southwestern omletes and turkey sausage! Exercise room was small but well maintained. Very clean and up to date hotel. Busy road out front but didn't disturb my sleep. The welcome cookies are a nice touch!

Clean, helpful staff. Typical breakfast.... Nothing to get excited about by any means. Convenient location, would definitely consider staying again. They were very prompt in getting us a rollaway bed to our room - although we were charged extra for this, and I don't ever remember being charged for this before by any other hotel.

My issue is that I stayed two weeks ago today and was double charged for the hotel and still have not received a refund. Stay at alot of Hilton properties, this is by far the dirtiest. Mold in the shower, hair on shower walls, mold and grime in soap holder. Dust in the room, along with the smell of cigarette. Front desk was a little lost and no help.

You will get the basic Hampton Inn experience here. Nothing more to be expected. It is a smaller Hampton and the best hotel in Marion. There is a competitor and they may be OK just don't use that chain. This is a off the path town and so you get what they have . My Mothers Celebration of Live took place at Matter Park in the lovely Garden House. What a beautiful setting. The Hampton Inn is right down the street from the park. A perfect location. the staff was welcoming and so friendly. A bit of an emotional weekend so a seamless check in with friendly staff was so nice for us.

This was a nice stay. Bed was very comfortable and room clean. Nice breakfast with hot and cold items and plenty of places to sit to have breakfast. It was on the main drag, so there were plenty of restaurants and shopping available. A couple of miles away from IWUs campus.

Checked in with Pre-Check in. Not sure if the website was malfunction or what. Get to the hotel and they didn't have me pre-checked. Gave me another room enter the room around 3:30 and the maids hadn't cleaned the room from previous night. Several people were having issues upon check in. Had to take my luggage back out to my car until a room was cleaned. Come back later around 5 my new room was cleaned. Sound asleep and aroud 3 a.m. the fire alarm goes off on the 2nd floor. We stay at a lot of Hilton Garden Inns and Hamptons and this one left a lot to be desired. The main problem was with rings being stolen from our room. We were at the motel because my father passed away and when my wife got ready for the funeral she forgot to put 2 very expensive rings on and left them in the bathroom. Each Hampton is different, but in comparison to other Hamptons this one is differently just an average Hampton, but for the selection of hotels in the area, it looks to be the best option for an overnight.

We mistakenly booked a room at the Hampton Inn in Marion, IN instead of Marion, IL. Upon learning of our mistake, we called the hotel. They canceled the rooms for us and said there would be no charge. Weeks later, there was a charge on our credit card for these rooms. After 4 weeks of trying to get ahold of the Manager and Front Desk Manager, we have still not heard back. The front desk staff will never let you speak with Rita, the manager, even if she is there. The hotel was quite but cold. The hallway had cold air pumped in, so that I had a cold breeze at my door. The breakfast was not as good as other Hilton Hotelso. There was only Register and Decaf coffee with hot water. The last day did have "Bold" coffee was added to the breakfast. Marion, Indiana is not a big town so this is the best hotel.
