Front desk staff was excellent. Room was very clean and spacious. The facility was very quiet, which I really appreciate. I love the evening social since I was in town for work. The breakfast had a great selection and not just bagels and donuts. Food was excellent

I have stayed in this hotel over the past several years and have always had great accommendations, free internet and a delicious breakfast, pleasant and very helpful service. This year when I returned, some remodeling had been done in the lobby, making it more bright and cheerful, and work on landscaping was being done.

This was our first experience staying at a Homewood Suites, and we were very pleased with our choice. The suite was nearly as large as our student housing apartment when I was in college. The furnishings and amenities were super, especially when you consider the small price difference between this and many Hampton Inns. Breakfast could have been a little better for the price, but the evening social hour made up for it.

Spent the night as we traveled to move our Purdue student home for the summer. Very clean. Roomy. Conveniently located. Breakfast was okay. Includes some grassy area, which I would think would be nice for extended stays. Lots of closet space. Tub/toilet separate from vanity, allowing me to get ready while my husband took a shower. Kitchenette was well equipped.

Very nice lobby and generally nice rooms, but appears to be an older retrofitted hotel, and that sometimes shows in various parts of the room. Very strange lay-out of the hotel overall. Outdoor pool only, and it is rather small, with no hot tub, and no shade if it's very sunny/hot. We've stayed in other hotels in the area that were better overall value. This one is fine, but is simply not the Homewood Suites I am used to (which are usually VERY nice).

We had a 2BR suite with kitchen which was laid out as 2 connected rooms that could be rented separately. The living area was in-between the 2 bedrooms which allowed for privacy. Breakfast is provided and food is normal for a hotel. They have happy hour on weeknights where wine and appetizers are provided. We had Asian night during happy hour and the food for that was not good plus overly spicy. The location is right next to Walmart and several restaurants. (wish they'd put another entrance i... The Homewood Suites in Lafayette, Indiana was exceptional in its attention to detail, cleanliness and an all around great environment when away from home. I stayed in Lafayette for a week. The Homewood Suite was my home-away-from-home. It was newer, modern and beautifully decorated. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I must give a special shout out to Doug who saved me while working in the business office one evening: he stopped what he was doing to assist with no complaints what so ever. I travel a great deal and frequent Hilton properties much more than the other hotel chains. In my recent visit to the Homewood Suites facility in Layfayette, IN, I really appreciated the ceiling fan over my bed. At home, my wife and I always sleep under a ceiling fan, but hotel rooms rarely feature them. I appreciate such fans more than I can express and especially enjoyed the fan that was in my suite on my recent visit.

The entire staff and hotel experience was exceptional. The only prob I had, is that dogs are allowed on every floor. And they bark all the time. Staff does their best by contacting owners. I didn't enjoy the WEs, bc the hotel was full and it was very noisy. I think that the halls should be quiet zones, signs to remind people would be helpful. But the age of courtesy is gone. Not hotel's fault.
