I've been to a better and newer La Quinta but this one is not bad. I would stay again. The only thing missing was a soap on the counter and bed was a little old, but overall, great stay. Breakfast was awesome!

We enjoyed our visit to the Indianapolis-South La Quinta Inn while returning home over spring break. Service was prompt & professional and the room was clean. Booking was easy over the phone and the free breakfast was good. No complaints- I believe the property was recently renovated.

Stayed here one night in March for a winter drum line competition. The hotel was fine. Not fancy, but clean and quiet. The location was very convenient to the highway and to our venue. The price was good.

We were driving back east and just stopped for the night as there was a coupon in an Indiana welcome magazine for $65. There was a large parking lot with a lot of big trucks. We asked if the special rate was available, which it was, and asked if we could see a room before committing. The desk clerk was very obliging and showed us a room with a king bed. It looked very nice and he offered us one on the top floor which would be very quiet. The room was very pleasant with a small refrigerator ... Read more

We were made to feel like we were coming home, not stopping off at a hotel. The staff was casual, yet professional. They treated us like returning guests, despite that we'd not stopped at this particular LQ before. The lady serving breakfast was like having your Mom there. She was a whirlwind of activity. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Zech, Carlos and Andrew at the front desk ,went out of their way to help make our stay a good one. We needed a rubber mat for the tub, someone was sent to buy one for us. We enjoyed our stay so much we drove back to stay another night after touring the Air Force Museum in Dayton

I often stay at a La Quinta while in Indianapolis, but the one on the north side of Indy. This was my first time here, and not all of these hotels are equally nice. First, the hall our room was on smelled overwhelmingly of carpet cleaner. My best guess is that it was covering up more unpleasant smells from the ferret convention or whatever was going on (multiple cars in the parking lot had license plates and/or stickers indicating the person's love of ferrets, many people with ferret t-shirts at... We stopped at this La Quinta after a long drive from North Carolina, and we were very tired from the long drive. The location was very easy to find it was easy on and easy off. The parking area was huge and very easy to park. The staff made it easy to register and enter the room. The room was very neat, clean and had that fresh smell of a well prepped room. The bed was one of the most plush and comfortable we have ever slept in at any motel we have ever stayed. The breakfast was great, and th... Read more

Carpets throughout and bathroom flooring were in bad shape - old and dirty. Room door was left unlatched after maid service. Panhandlers in the parking lot. Generally, this hotel needs much updating, repairs, and a good cleaning. We will not stay there again.

Used to be a great place to stay. Our group has been staying there for 5 years now. After this year's experience with the inattentive staff when problems were encountered, we will not be staying at La Quinta South again. Room keys would not open outside doors, WiFi did not work and staff couldn't have cared less. This property did not meet La Quinta standards.

Very welcoming of our dog. Good bed and reasonably clean hotel. Seems to be a place all the truckers go. Breakfast was not bad. Clerks were friendly but maybe a bit overworked. Shower in tub was pretty small. Would stay there again if traveling that route.

We had not stayed in a La Quinta Inn for many years. Booked this one because it was one of the preferred hotels for the Bloomington Gold Corvette Show. We were pleasantly surprised. It met the standard set by the others in this class of hotel that we usually patronize. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical. Location was safe and secure.

In town for my high school reunion and had trouble finding a hotel. Booked this based on trip adviser reviews but was a little skeptical. We were pleasantly surprised at the rooms . . . spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and we were happy with our stay

We were traveling with our dog; LaQuinta's are our go to as they pet friendly. Upon arrival, we were met by smokers by the main entrance. Most hotels have a smoking area away from the main entrance; we were surprised to see the smoking area so close. Our room smelled like urine, our dog was unsettled in the room all night. We arrived to the hotel late in the evening so did not request another room. The tub didn't drain properly which we informed staff when we checked out. On the plus side, th... Read more

The front desk and employees are wonderful at this hotel. The La Quinta is your typical La Quinta in terms of lay out. Rooms are fine. A little updating could take place, but nothing major. The breakfast starts later on the week-ends, so if you leave early on Sat or Sun, you might not be there late enough to enjoy it (6:30 start time).

In town for a swim meet at IUPUI. Rooms were big with comfortable beds. We had room with 2 queen beds. Front desk staff had our room keys ready upon arrival so check in was a snap. Hotel pool is outside, but seemed clean. Most hotel pools are smaller with mostly a shallow depth. This pool however was large with an 8 foot deep end. This was great! Only draw back was it very close location to the interstate. A lot of road noise by passing traffic. Asking for a room on the front side of b... Read more

Room is great...spacious with comfortable beds. Lawn with poop bags for walking dogs is great. Normal price is probably reasonable, but I arrived on a conference so paid $160. Food nearby is unremarkable. Bad: fitness center equipment is all broken! đ???

After our stay at a La Quinta in Peru, IL, this was a bit of a disappointment. The plaster in the room was peeling around the doorframe and the beds had a definite swayback aspect to them. I was told that they are in the process pf remodeling but that cant happen soon enough. Highway noise was VERY noticeable. Go elsewhere.

Jordan, the day time manager was outstanding. Professional and very helpful, from directions to helping set up my DVD player. Room was clean. Our room though had a spotlight outside that provided security to the pool entrance. The curtain in our room was not able to block out the light. I would make sure I didn't get room 104 aqain.

The staff was great and the room decent. The breakfast area was very crowded and not very well stocked. The person at the desk seemed not to care at all that lots of people were standing with no place to sit. Overall, it was cheap and worth the $$ for the location.

We've stayed at many LaQuinta's, but this was our first time at this one and we would definitely stay again. Clean, convenient location, super nice staff and great breakfast selections (both hot and cold). We were really glad to mattresses seemed new and weren't worn out and sagging in the middle like other places we've stayed.

We like this chain because of their pet friendly policy. This location is easy on/off from 465 and near a grocery and liquor store. The hotel is a renovated Holiday Inn and they have done a very good job. The breakfast room was well stocked, but cold. Room was nice, front desk and breakfast lady were friendly. Will stay again.

Stayed for 3 nights, 4 days for the World Championship Figure 8 at the Speedrome. We got a king suite. Room was very nice, staff was great. It is a pet friendly hotel, pets stay for free. We didn't bring our dog, but there was quite a few people who did. They had free continental breakfast;with juices, coffee, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes. It was a pretty big selection. It rained most of the weekend, but there was an outside pool to use if you wanted to. There is also 2 smal... Read more

This is one of the better La Quinta Inns that we have stayed. We normally stay at the La Quinta because they are dog friendly. This hotel is in a good location on the south side of Indianapolis and we plan on staying here in the future.

As is my experience with all La Quinta Inn & Suites, the bed was super comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. The room was clean and spacious. Cleanliness needs improving, in the guest rooms, hallways, elevator and exterior grounds. There are no pet bag stations available. It was hard to walk our dog without stepping in other dogs mess.
