Meh says it all right. The front desk was disinterested in our visit and were more interested in having their own conversation which lead to delays in us checking in and getting to our room (we did arrive late in the evening). Room was decent, nothing fancy. The elevator bank is horrible as it takes for ever to get down and up. Doubt i'll be staying here again.

My hotel stay was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The food at the hotel was delicious and service was great. The parking was a bit pricey! I had to come and go, so I chose the Valet Parking for $39.95 plus tips for an overnight stay and then you could come and go. If you self parked, you paid $26.95 every time you came in

If you want to save $14 on parking, you should definitely park in the "World of Wonders" mall parking garage and not the hotel parking. This is a standard city center business hotel. It's not great, it's not bad. The hotel is situated in a mixed use office building that is connected to the convention center and to the Circle Center Mall via internal walkways. The hotel is smack dab in the middle of downtown Indie and it is very close walking distance to pretty much anything downtown. If y... Read more

Great location. Fantastic atmosphere in lobby. Large comfortable room and bed. Staff are EXTREMELY friendly and can't do enough for us when we ask for something. I almost feel like I'm at Disneyworld because the staff is so friendly. We are here for the 100th Indy 500 and have had a great experience here all week. Will be back to this hotel.

Pretty standard stuff for a business stay downtown. Bedding was nice clean and fluffy. Check-in was a breeze, actually it went really well. Fast check-in and very friendly staff. The room was very clean. Every little detail was taken care of. Being that I'm not a fan of hotel coffee, I couldn't tell you have the complimentary coffee taste. Walking distance to everything downtown, was a nice bonus as I had a "free" day on my recent business trip.

Great location in central Indy, large hotel but walking into the lobby area from the central mall direction can be confusing. Check in was OK, but there were ticket envelopes waiting for me to pick up and it seemed to take forever to get them delivered to my room (after an extra phone call). I should have been able to collect them at check in, then they charged me $5 each as a handling charge. The bed was quite comfortable, but the curtains were not true light blockers. The Wifi was a bit "on an... Read more

The hotel room was clean, and the check-in process was efficient. We were there for a conference and the food at the conference was healthy with plenty of fruits and creative options. We had tea and coffee available throughout the day with fresh water in each of the rooms.

Stayed here for 2 nights while I was in town for a class at IUPUI- a short safe walk (about 1/2 hour) to the class. Directly across the street to tour trolley at Dicks last resort. Bar in lobby had great food. Printed boarding pass from library in lobby. Great views of the city from the rooms.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Indianapolis, making walking an easy option. Our room was neat and tidy upon arrival. The major downside of the hotel was the extremely high parking fees. I suspect other hotels in the area also charge very high rates.

Room was very nice as would be expected and staff was friendly and accommodating. Location downtown was walking distance to many restaurants and attractions, particularly the canal walk and the nearby zoo. There is no need to rent a car if you are in town for a short time since there is plenty to enjoy nearby.

I just spent 4 nights at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis. It was a very nice hotel right in the heart of the city. Located just across the street from the beautiful State Capital, the hotel is located within walking distance from some great historic sites and some great dining and drinking establishments. I really enjoyed my stay at the HR. I had a corner King room and it was great. First, it was very clean. (the most important hotel issue for me). The room was well appointed a... Read more

A/C would not shut off unless you powered it down. My room was a meat locker. Upon the first request to have it looked at maintenance simply turned the thermo off (super hot in my room when I returned). Second time I don't know what they did because it still wouldn't shut down even when I had the temp set at 80 (as high as it goes). I decided not to mention it again because I'd rather be cold than hot and it was super hot in Indy that week. I stayed 6 nights. I don't have my room cleane... Read more

It was overpriced. The location was great because it was next to the convention center so I was able to walk to the event there. I did not check out the pool. The walls and door seemed super thin because I could hear everything. It was frustrating. The cleaning staff were quite loud. I hated the elevators because you can see through them but an employee gave me permission to use the employee elevators so that fixed that problem. She was extremely friendly and sweet. I stayed at this Hyatt for two nights while in town for a convention. I was given a king bed room at the end of the corridor. The windows in the room fronted the "hallway" which was next to the large atrium. It was a bit weird not to have windows that face the outside. But I think only the end rooms are like this. The room itself was a nice size, especially for a downtown hotel. There was a large desk area (the outlets are on the side of the desk) and free internet access. The bed was... Read more

Enjoyed our time in Indianapolis, convenient and new, clean and quiet. We stayed four nights and were at the convention center for a volleyball tournament. We were able to quickly check in and walk around the city; the rooms were updated and quiet and the views were good; we also used the restaurant for a quick breakfast two days. It was also easy checking out and getting to the airport. The price was a little high given the level of activity in the City. It was easy to get to most of the i... Read more

Staying downtown is about location and a great deal. The Hyatt Regency met those expectations. The staff was nice and helpful. The room in great shape and the amenities are what you'd hope to expect. Frankly, we couldn't have stayed downtown unless we found a deal or did it during the week. Prices were great for a Tuesday deal from Trip Advisor.

The parking was very expensive but it is like that all around that area. You can find cheaper lots down the block but you have to pay every time you go in and out. My recomendation is to get airport shuttle and then use ubber. Nice hotel but we down graded rating due to parking and no wifi in our room. I believe it was the location of our room because other family members did not have this problem.

Spent one night for a NCAA meeting. Very friendly staff both at checkin and in the restaurant. Room (901) was well appointed but tired. Rug was tattered and wall paper lifting off wall in bathroom. Sink was excellent and good room on the bathroom counter. Walk in shower was large and good hot water. Bed was fine. Buffet was ok. Cook station was not open, basic fare with not a lot of choice. Good service. Needs a remodel.

The room temp when we arrived was 65 and when we adjusted the thermostat but couldn't get it to warm up. My room was not the best, but the other two coworkers both had excellent rooms. The hotel is connected to many attractions, including a mall, via indoor hallways. It is also attached to multiple parking garages. The Valet parking was just a little bit more than the parking garages, and for the service and being able to load all of the luggage right in the entrance, it was worth it to pay the minimal extra.
