I regularly stay at this hotel when I'm visiting Indianapolis. It's conveniently located and is walking distance to most of the restaurants. The building is a converted warehouse and so it has quite a bit of character and the rooms are all different. The business center is worthy of an old school cigar bar. The staff are always nice and helpful. On the downside, you have to use the valet parking (which is the same everywhere nearby) and the breakfast/evening happy hour foods aren't great (but t... I recently stayed at this hotel while attending a conference and found my room to be comfortable and clean. It was a bit off the path of other hotels but was still within close proximity to the convention center and downtown core. I would certainly choose to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

I've stayed here now 3 time for business. Its located in downtown and fairly central to everything. the room are probably average size for the Homewood brand but the ceilings are extremely high (something on the order of 16 ft by my best guestimate). the staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. They have a free breakfast which is quite nice with a wide variety of items. Also have a managers reception in the evening Monday to Thursday. The only downside (for me) is that it is located... If you're coming to Indy this is an ideal hotel and location. The rooms are really nice with high ceilings and exposed brick, and the staff are always very pleasant. It's in a perfect location to walk pretty much anywhere, and it's only a 15-20 uber ride to the race track. Breakfast is delicious (as is always the case at Homewood) and the beds are comfy.

I really like the Homewood Suites. The location of this hotel was good, the price very good, and the suite extremely nice. My only slight complaint would be the quality of the breakfast items; but since it was free, I can't complain too much. My issue with the free breakfasts at many hotel is the quality of the baked goods. I wish they didn't seem so "store-bought."

Excellent place to stay when traveling for business or pleasure. Lobby, elevator and halls were very clean. Older building that had been renovated had lots of charm but the feel of brand new. Excellent price for the amentities included.

I loved the look of the hotel with its brick halls and high ceilings. The rooms are clean and spacious. The service was helpful and polite. My only complaints were the carb-heavy breakfast and that the only parking option was valet. In the end, valet parking was fine because overnight parking in a garage cost about the same. The hotel is surrounded by restaurant options and coffee shops. It is also two blocks from the convention center. I would gladly stay here again.

If you are going with a family I suggest picking a room in the INTERIOR of the hotel. The street is EXTREMELY LOUD! You hear the people, the sirens, the music at the bars and so much more! Sadly we did not get much sleep until around 3 am due to the noise outside.

Several months ago I made reservations at this property for my wife and I to run the Indianapolis Marathon. Two weeks out I received a phone call from the Director of Sales to inform me that the hotel had suffered a 'glitch' in the system and was overbooked, so the block of rooms for people in the Marathon was going to have to be canceled and they could not accommodate the reservation (they are one of the official hotels). However, I was informed brightly that they had made alternate reservati... Read more

We stayed one night and was good. The staff are friendly and helpful everytime. The room is big enough and is like a studio with kitchen. Was clean, with a comfortable bed a nice bathroom. The hotel serving every evening for free a big snack with beverage included, that we had appreciated. The breakfast is good with fresh food. The location is just in the center of Indianapolis. The parking a little expensive, but was ok.

Great staff and wonderful amenities. Loved that the building was re-purposed in this manner - great brick and beams. Excellent breakfast choices in the morning. Glad to see hotel supports recycling (could be more) and the environment. Perfect spot in downtown Indianapolis.

The room is amazing! Nice, tall ceilings, lots of character with a very comfortable King bed. Our son slept well on the pull-out sofa. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites. Location was perfect. Restaurants, shopping, bars were all within walking distance from hotel. The suite was spacious for all 4 of us. Never felt like we were on top of each other. Would definitely stay here again!

The Homewood suites in downtown Indianapolis is a very nice place to stay. While the hotel is located in the heart of the bar scene, the hotel is kept in very nice condition. Our room was very large with a kitchen and even a seperate living space aside from the sleeping area. The only improvement I would like to see is the quality of breakfast served.

Very nice venue - but cleaning staff seemed over worked or shady staffed. Stayed two nights and they finally came at 4:15 to make beds - we turned them away as we were getting ready to leave at 5 for a family wedding.

This isn't your typical Homewood Suites. Dislocation took the time to preserve the history of the old buildings that it occupies. The rooms are extremely large and very well decorated. I also appreciate how new everything is in this hotel. They have valet service while you can also park on your own. You can walk to lots of different things from this hotel. I love the proximity to St Elmo's. And I also appreciated how polite and friendly the staff is here.

I was in Indianapolis for a conference and spent 8 nights in the Homewwod suites. Good size room, with kitchen and appliances so you could spread out and not feel boxed in. Breakfast each morning comprised eggs, sausage or similar meat, potato dish or warm pastry as the hot offering. Waffles, cereals, muesli, or limited selection of fresh fruit. Toast or rolls available and variety of hot and cold beverages. A 'happy hour' is held each weekday evening which is a nice offering (although I did no... Read more

We stayed in room 324 and it was extremely noisy day and night. It is right across from the linen room and that door slammed several times throughout the day. During the night there was a garbage truck or trucks in the alley right next to the bedroom and there would be very loud crash type noises at 4 or 5 AM. There were also many vehicles backing down the alley with the "beep, beep, beeps". Our first day the room was not cleaned so later in the evening I saw a staff member and just asked for mo... Although it does not look like a modern place from the outside, it is a very nice, modern hotel on the inside. Great service, amenities and great rates. Close to everything you might want to see in downtown Indy

Glad I chose to come back to Homewood Suites. Great hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, and within walking distance of many local restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next trip!

We had stayed in a Homewood Suite prior to the experience and were blown away by the staff and experience of the stay. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met for this stay in Indianapolis. The noise from the bar and street below was horrible through 3AM in the morning. Needless to say, our sleep quality was pretty poor. Plus the shower head barely worked. To summarize, a poor value for the money.

Ok place to rest our heads and that's about it. The price was jacked up because it was a busy weekend. The location is great but normally I could stay here for $100.00 to $150.00 less during non-event weekends.

I didn't stay here - however I'm compelled to write something because of an unusual circumstance. I booked a room here months ago for the running on the Monumental Marathon on November 5. Shortly before the marathon I received notice that due to a glitch in their system they were overbooked and I did not have a room. Instead of leaving me hanging they made arrangements with another downtown hotel and secured me a room at the same rate I had with them although the other hotel was higher price. Wh... Read more

The best thing about this hotel is its location. We valeted our car and didn't need it again until we checked out. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. The lobby was nice and inviting, the beds comfortable and the suites spacious. The pool was FREEZING! Even the kids had a hard time getting in. The breakfast was good. The only things that were missing for me were a room safe and a magnifying mirror. We definitely paid a premium for this room.

I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and have learned that the exterior rooms are terrible for a good night's sleep (read other reviews to see this confirmed). I checked into an interior room online and arrived only to find that I was in an exterior room. I am a Hilton gold member and was surprised this was not resolved prior to our arrival. We arrived late or would have looked for another Hilton property.

Watch out for price differences for nights 2 and beyond. The management was less than helpful when I expressed my concern. Other than that the rooms were clean. The complimentary breakfast and evening social was nice.

We have had 4 separate meetings at this facility over the years and they do a wonderful job in serving you. That is why we return. The staff at the front desk, food service staff valet parking attendants and even the maid service individuals really greet you with a smile all the time. The facility is laid out very well. I stayed for a week. The room service staff took their time making the rounds, to the point where some of my colleagues came back to their rooms around 4:30pm an service hadn't arrived yet. I had a sink that was clogged all week. Pretty clear that it needed a stopper adjustment, so I caught a service attendant to report. All they did was wipe out the sink, so I just used the kitchen sink to clean up for the week. You'd think a slow drain would have been caught by a prior guest or even by th... Read more

This is an excellent property in an excellent location! The room was very big with nice high ceilings and very clean. The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast. The 5 o'clock evening social was lacking though. Would have liked more variety, but it was not enough to make or break a stay here. The only warning is to ask for an interior room near the back of the building if you are a soft sleeper. This hotel is in the middle of the bar scene and it got very loud from the bars with ... The rates were reasonable I felt for downtown. The rooms have full size refrigerators and sinks along with some dishes and glassware which is nice too. The hotel is very nice. Staff is friendly and courteous. We stayed over Thanksgiving and the only issues we had were no toilet paper in the bathroom and no daily housekeeping services or evening reception so the hotel employees could spend time with family. Also, the view from our room window was a brick wall so be careful when selecting your room if you prefer some sort of view.
