I am in this hotel almost weekly for work. They are more than accommodating upon arrival and for the duration of the stay. I haven't come across one person at the front desk (In any shift) that has been unpleasant or difficult to deal with. There is a restaurant/bar in this hotel. The food is good and the service is quick. Kyle is the bartender and he does an amazing job. No matter how busy he is, he will always make time to talk to you and listen to what you have to say. I travel extensively & normally eat outside the hotel food options if there more than one day. Let me tell you, DO NOT pass up this opportunity! Kurt (bartender/host) was extremely hospitable, and the food options were from the tacos, reuben sandwiches and on the last day I had salmon...ALL good!

Very nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff, close to many restaurants, the restaurant on site was also very good, awesome salmon Caesar salad, good steaks, burgers and the fish tacos were awesome. The bartender Kyle (the Champ) was awesome as well, I highly recommend this hotel if your every in the Indianapolis (Carmel) area!

My wife and I stayed in Indy for two nights for a weekend getaway and chose this hotel because we could stay free with my IHG points. Upon check in everything started out great. Friendly service and at first look the hotel was clean and new looking. Not sure how old the hotel is, but you could tell there was a recent renovation. Once in the room it was obvious the hotel was old. Tiles broken in the shower, calking around the tub was in bad shape, walls have cracks. If you're going to renov... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel a handful of times for various reasons. A few times now while waiting for my turn to check in, I have heard people requesting to be away from the side of the hotel that faces the interstate. I stayed in one of those rooms on my last visit. It was so quiet that if it weren't for looking out the window, I would have no idea that the interstate was even there! And it was sold out, but I could have sworn that I was the only one there - no noises that you would expect whe... Read more

The hotel was nice. I was skeptical at first because it was set right along a major highway. The road noise was not a problem and didn't hinder sleeping. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is a very nice restaurant area a mile or so north of the hotel so we were always able to find a nice place to have dinner.

I stayed here for an overnight visit on a 3 day road trip. The room was average, the walls were very thin as the next door guest was listening to the TV and conversing. The room was nice. The dinner in the restaurant was overpriced and my fish was raw. I sent it back and I think they just heated it in the microwave. Breakfast was ample and tasty.

The hotel is located well away from the ongoing roadworks on Meridian which seam to have been going on for over 3 years. The location is quiet tucked in down the bottom of Pensilvania. the property itself is a little dated and could do with a makeover to bring it up to the level of much of the local competition. The staff were good and proficient. the bar guy is an institution and has been discussed by others in this thread. I was resident for 500 weekend and the staff had put together a bunch o... Read more

This was my second visit and with a corporate rate and as an IHG member I was in a suite. My first visit, two years ago, I had a regular room. Both visits were comfortable, quiet and clean. The breakfast buffet is simple but hot and has some variation with good service. The evening bartender is excellent and quite entertaining. When I return to Indy, I will stay here again.

Love the appearance of the hotel. It's always important to make a good first impression and this hotel seemed almost majestic to me. The staff was helpful and there were no issues at check-in. Parking and internet are included which is always nice. This hotel is a short drive from all north-side attractions. There is a nice but short lap-pool with temperate water where the kids and I played. We all slept very well in comfortable beds. The air conditioner kept the room quite cool even though it w... We were visiting Westfield/Carmel from Columbus OH for a baseball tournament. Our original hotel plans fell through and we were all left scrambling to find a new hotel. This Holiday Inn was kind enough to help and found us a room at a reasonable rate. We were so grateful! The rooms were clean. We slept on the side of the interstate and never heard any noise! The staff was very patient, pleasant and professional. The breakfast was good too. We were so appreciative of your hospitality and w... Read more

Our baseball team stayed here for the weekend. Hotel looks nice as you enter, but rooms are older, yet clean. Air conditioner cools the room well. In the room we had beds were doubles. What we did not like about the property is that we came as a group and at any other hotel, we were able to order pizza and have a couple of beers in the common areas. This hotel would not allow us to do this, they said it was the laws of the city? Only could do this if you ordered at the restaurant.

In the area for the regional soccer tournament & stayed at the Holiday Inn for 5 days. It is reasonably clean, feels as if they've tried to freshen it up (although there is about a 1 inch gap btw the edge of the carpet & the wall), but super frustrating that we cannot utilize the courtyard space unless purchasing food & drinks from the hotel.

We stayed here this past weekend. Although the property was fine I do not recommend if going with a group or sports team. You can not enjoy common area unless you purchase food or alcohol from them. Pool VERY small. Breakfast was minimal. Not a place for teams at all.

From check-in to check-out, the service was top notch! the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff bent over backwards to help us in every way they could. Dixon, especially, hit the high note with his exceptional service, as did Sarah and all the other staff in the dining room. We stayed in a suite and both rooms had an a/c independent of one another so our comfortable temperature was very easy to maintain. I am a Spire member. Overall hotel was ok. My room ...... both smoke detectors hanging by the wires, both thermostats were loose on the walls (hard to push the up and down buttons), the sink did not drain much, the stopper was stuck down, the toilet seat was barely held on and would not stay in one position when seated. Need I go on? I took a written list with all the things that were wrong with the room, the manager promised to give me 10,000 points for the horrible room, that didn't happen ... Read more

The moment we walked in, we were greeted by two young ladies who were able to very efficiently check us in and make us feel at home right away. Later in the night, we had some questions about different restaurants in the area and Rebecca was able to point us in a great direction. Also, the night manager (young man, I do not remember his name) was very professional and courteous with us. Lastly, the breakfast was great! I would definitely recommend!!

Have not been to this establishment in almost 2 years, and previously had a decent experience. Not this time. They are definitely on a downward spiral. So when you enter the hotel to check in, you have to walk out the back door and across a walk to get to the building with the rooms. This building is getting quite worn out. Elevators are slow, looks a little ratty in the hall ways, and shall I mention the halls are not air conditioned. Yes, so it was every bit of 80+ degrees in the hall wa... Read more

This Holiday Inn is located in a business district. The grounds are beautiful and make you feel isolated from the surrounding businesses. The staff was wonderful. The facility was clean and comfortable. They offer a breakfast buffet but it is not complimentary and will set you back $11.99 per person. The buffet was not anything special and in my opinion definitely overpriced. Overall, the bed was comfortable and the room was cold. I would consider staying here again.

I seriously loved this hotel for our lacrosse team. They were so accommodating to us! Our rooms were fantastic, and I loved the homogenics sound machine for white noise. The beds were great. Best of all they allowed us to use their conference rooms for team meals and meetings at night as long as no one else was using them. Jennifer at the front desk was awesome but we loved all of them. This hotel is a little tough to get to but it worked out well for us. Clean rooms are plenty big enough. They were willing to bring extra chairs for guests to sit in. Breakfast buffet has cold and hot options, ok but a little pricey. Full bar and friendly bartender. Small but functional fitness room. Odd configuration of a courtyard between wings of the hotel with no automatic doors. Slow elevators.

I've stayed here before, and was scheduled to stay the week. They've gone downhill. I checked out early because of the noise as poor value throughout. Rooms on the courtyard will have to put up with the noise. They allow it until 11PM, but it's poorly monitored. I had to call after 11 before they did something. Breakfast is almost 13 dollars, and its regular food. Drinks are meager and expensive. Property is aging badly. There's better value and hotels for the same price around.

Always a good place to stay in Indy! The front desk makes things work and Kyle keeps the bar area friendly and relaxing. If management could lift the restaurant a notch this would be 5 star. The basics are good, i.e. clean, good location and amenities. And one last thing---Kyle has converted to being a Chicago Cubs fan, it's all good!

The facitility is nice, but when we got to the room and saw the portable sound machine, we should have caught on! Even with the sound machine on at a high level, I could hear the traffic noise during the night. We did have an super delicious evening meal as part of our group meeting.

So I check in to the hotel, walk through an awkward courtyard to get to the elevators to my room. Did I mention that the awkward courtyard doors are manual and I am carrying many things? So I get settled in to watch TV and there is no ABC. None...nada...and then hotel does not have a very good reason as to why. Other than that the hotel is standard Holiday Inn. Breakfast is not worth the extra money. You should get what they offer as breakfast for free.

My son and I stayed here recently with his soccer team and the overall experience was very good. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a room overlooking the highway so the view wasn't great, but there was minimal noise. Despite the fact that we were one of several teams staying there was no noise from other guests. Lots of turning and weaving to locate, but once you arrive you'll find one of the nicest Holiday Inn properties in the country. Newer facility offers a nice on-property restaurant with small bar (and one of the coolest bartenders on the planet). Rooms are comfortably appointed. A great stay for overnight traveler or road warrior passing through town.

Staff is great for this type of property. While it's very close to I-465, road noise was not an issue. Rooms were ok, nothing special. Printed TV channel guide had several errors. If you prefer shower gel to bar soap, you'll need to bring your own.

Room was very comfortable. The hotel is close to the freeway but we didn't notice that while in our room. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the wifi was fine. The shower stayed nice and hot. Breakfast is not included in price but there is a Keurig in the room for morning coffee. The lobby was beautiful and spacious and there is an outdoor courtyard for warmer weather to congregate in. Close to Grand Park and places to eat.
