This hotel is close to the convention center (i did welcome the couple blocks walk during a conference). The rooms are nice. not much of a view because there are building nearby. This hotel is of typical quality you expect from a Hampton Inn.

Very nice hotel within a charming older building. Great location which allows for the ability to walk throughout downtown Indianapolis. If you like to bike and have the ability to bring along your bicycle, downtown Indianapolis is very bike-friendly with dedicated biking lanes. The bike lanes guide you to the Monon Bike trail which is an old railroad line that has been paved for biking, walking and running - it's outstanding! From check-in to check-out, this 5 night stay was flawless. Mikaela checked us professional, genuinely welcoming, skilled and attractive. We were here for the Indy 500 weekend, so, needless to say the hotel was sold out. You never would have known it. Breakfast was seamless.....refills came fast and constant. Stayed here for business. It is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. There are places to eat and for entertainment conveniently located within an easy walking distance. The breakfast is a notch above the standard fare and the room is large enough for all the guests (not always the case). Didn't use the wifi, so I don't know if its good or not. The staff had us in and out very efficiently and effectively.

I stay at Hamptoms every week and this one fell short. My room had an odor, the chair had a large stain, the bathtub had stains, the room was dark and gloomy. Parking is not included and the fee is not mentioned during the reservation process. The hotel only has snack machines. The hotel has very thin walls on the 5th floor. This makes for a very interesting nights sleep when the customer in the next room snores. The tub was clean but rusted on the edges.

Parking is an issue. This is an older building that must have been a hotel in the past that Hampton Inn restored. The quality is OK, but not as good as other Hamptons that I've stayed at. Overall I would rate this stay as average to slightly below.

They charge a mandatory 20.00 for valet parking. Totally out of line. The valets are very good, the staff is very good but that is way too much for someone to park your car in their lot. The Wi-Fi is very difficult to get connected to and once you do figure it out it is SUPER weak. Not worth the effort. For the price of this room I would expect more. Very overpriced.

Wonderful location, smaller but clean accommodations with an outstanding staff! Within short stroll to Bankers Life Arena. Across the street from the mall. And 5 minute walk to the Circle. Parking was $20 per day. Breakfast was similar to most hotel breakfasts but staff was great. Not much gluten free.

Top notch customer service! In fact, you won't know what you have been missing until you stay here. They really do go above and beyond, anticipating your needs before you even ask. And best of all, they aren't just nice but highly proficient at what they offer to do. Also, nice and clean room, excellent location with easy walk to conference center.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and it worked out just fine. The location is really convenient for walking anywhere downtown. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is included and is pretty simple. Better get there early though, they ran out of a lot after 9:30 and didn't replace anything. Also if you like a soft bed, you definitely won't find one here. My hips were not happy!

This Hampton was very nice - comfortable beds and clean. The breakfast is always a nice addition. It was a convenient location for the event I was attending. You have to do valet parking, which is an added expense. I would stay here again depending on hotel price search.

My wife and I live in East Central Illinois and wanted to get out of town for a night, so we decided to take the short (1.5 hour or so?) drive to Indianapolis for a Saturday evening. I'm an Hilton HHonors member so of course picked a hotel from the "Hilton Family of Hotels." Indy is easy enough to get around anyway (I grew up in Chicagoland, so anything compared to there is easy) but we came from the west on Route 36 which turns into Maryland Avenue, so getting to this hotel was a total breeze. ... This hotel is an awesome hotel full of historic charm! The staff was very helpful and the room was superb. The only thing I didn't care for was the lack of a pool or hot tub, but after an explanation, I was ok with it. The front desk explained that the reason there isn't a pool is because the hotel is in a historic building and city code prohibits the installation of a pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in downtown Indy. Our check-in time was 3pm and we were able to check in at 12:30pm, which was really helpful. The front desk staff informed us of all available amenities and where we could receive discounts at as a result of staying at the hotel. We stayed at the hotel as a result of a silent auction gift and would gladly stay there again in the future.

This is a historic building and could be quite quaint, but is instead a bit tired and not as well maintained as it could be and is not particularly clean. There were stains on bathroom floor, others on the TV counter in my room when I arrived, I put a note one the counter the next morning asking that it be cleaned, but it was not. The full length mirror is clearly missing because the bolts are still on the wall and the luggage rack was broken beyond use. One of the elevator panels looked like so... Read more

Overall I was happy with our stay -- the room was really nice, and large. The king bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really enjoyable with lots of options warm and cold foods. The elevators were fun and old with a unique feel. My only issue was that the bathroom really needs an update. The wallpaper was coming off the walls, there was black mold in the bathroom and the floor felt/looked really dirty. For a downtown hotel I was hoping it would be a little better?

My room was clean. The location was walking distance from several nice restaurants. It is located downtown, so parking is an obstacle. If I had to visit this area again, I would possibly stay at this same hotel. Overall, it's your average Hampton Inn.

We've stayed here several times. This is a very nice property in a great location. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Highly recommended. Walkable to most of all the downtown locations. Near (walking) to some great restaurants.

This hotel was awful for the price. I arrived early and the valet and bag check gentlemen were very helpful. The check-in desk told me my room was not available and did not offer any indication as to when it would be ready. They did not even offer to check me in, instead they told me to come back. In all my travel, I've never been told to wait to check-in until my room was ready. Usually I check-in and am told to come back. After that experience, I checked-in online. After getting to my room (wh... Read more

We had a quick overnight stay. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. We found the rooms and breakfast, pretty much like all Hampton hotels. However, the friendliness of the staff made the trip complete. Thanks to a great crew!!!

This hotel is the greatest. Valet is only $20 and you have in and out privileges. The hotel staff is very welcoming. The rooms are spacious and the climate control in rooms is superb. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was very quiet and the room darkening shades really help encourage sleep in the downtown area!

My family and I came to visit Indianapolis and we stayed at the Hampton Inn downtown. We checked in during a torrential downpour, a little later than expected, but the ladies at the front desk were so helpful and kind that they made us feel right at home. Shana, Sara and Sydney suggested a few places to eat nearby and activities that may be interesting to help bide the time during the storm. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. We are definitely going to stay... Read more

First the bad, Stained furniture, cold shower, overcharged for valet and mold in shower. Then the good, comfortable bed, pleasant staff, warm cookies, early check-in. Price was reasonable compared to other downtown hotels. Great location, but don't plan on returning.

This hotel is right downtown, where you want to be. Valet parks your vehicle and you don't need it until you leave. Restaurants, bars, shopping, all within easy walking distance (or crawling, if you are returning after being out for the night!). The football stadium is maybe a15 minute walk. Comfortable rooms and all the staff are very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if in town. At check in, the girl at the desk couldn't guarantee Penn State would win, but we did so it just made our... Read more
