The Conrad is a small upscale hotel in downtown Indianapolis. The location is wonderful, allowing you to walk to the War Memorial, two very nice museums and a large mall. The streets around the hotel are immaculate and we enjoyed being able to walk to all the amazing restaurants close by. However, I gave it only a 3 rating because they do not have a parking garage and you have to valet each time you need to use your car. Also, we were on the 9th floor and had an amazing view of a brick wall.... Read more

Beautifully decorated rooms with all the amenities. Comfortable bed and a large bathroom with TV. Check out the Miro prints in the lobby and cool wine bar where you use a cash card to pour your own samples. Friendly staff and a great downtown location.

This hotel should have everything it takes to be a winner and I was very much anticipating my stay. But when you arrive as a meeting host only to find a snooty valet, no record of your reservation despite bringing tens of thousands of dollars to the property, no soap in the room, tired carpets and scraped walls in your corner room it's hard to get too excited. And at over $40 a night to park you are paying more than NY. While this location has high aspirations, it's a just a nice but fusty, date... Read more

I booked into the Conrad for a night after my other hotel ended up being fully booked and unable to extend my stay by one extra day. Have stayed at the Conrad before, and enjoyed this stay just as much. The service is exceptional, rooms are large and luxurious, and the overall feel is one of being pampered. I love staying here.

We were greeted pleasantly and professionally. We were given a room upgrade upon arrival which was unanticipated as the city was packed due to the Indianapolis 500 qualifications. When our kids joined us for a anniversary lunch in the Capital Grille restaurant the staff was very accommodating especially when the two 2 year olds decided to run around our table like it was a track. Luckily we were given a private dining room. The server followed it up with bringing us several delicious dessert... Read more

Rooms beautiful. Room service awesome. However, if you're a repeat guest, be prepared to be treated like a transient every time. Happened last time, and I forgave... But tonight was the second time they couldn't be bothered to look at my history with them. I get warmer welcomes at the nearby Hampton Inn than here, and I told mgr that. Then, I walked out. It wants to be indy's 5 star, but mission not accomplished.

The Conrad is a quaint upscale hotel located perfectly for walking to many areas of interest such as the Lucas Oil Stadium, Banker Life Field House, Circle Center Mall, Monument Circle, and many great dining establishments. Bicycles are offered to guests as a courtesy too. My wife and I have stayed at the Conrad for two anniversaries now. Our first time was in a deluxe room and the second was in a corner suite. Centrally located with everything just minutes from the front door. Outstanding service and an outstanding staff. Never wanted for anything. I have stayed there twice while attending big events. When other hotels would crumble with big crowds, this one seems to get juiced up and excel. If you are in town for a race, a Colts game, Pacers game, shopping, business or whatever, the Conrad is the best place to stay.

I really love the hotel. Not to large and beautifully appointed. Elegant but not over the top. It's somewhat boutique but still has a large hotel feel to it. The rooms are elegantly decorated and I love the tv in the bathroom and Keurig coffee maker in the room. On all points I couldn't find anything negative to write.

My wife and I booked a weekend stay as a pre-baby relaxing weekend. Long story short, there was a problem which caused our reservation to be cancelled inadvertently. Customer service referred me to the hotel's general manager, who couldn't possibly have been more gracious and pleasant in remedying the issue. The stay itself was everything we hoped it would be. The room was terrific, and during our first night as guests, the staff surprised us by bringing a "complimentary pre-baby amenity" which... Read more

I had a great time while in town for my daughter's volleyball tournament. The service at the Conrad was exceptional. I felt like a special guest every time I asked a question or needed help with something. I even had a problem with my room, initially. I was a bit surprised by the luxury of the standard king size room! Where do I begin??? The room was surprisingly spacious. There was a desk, a lounge chair, and plenty of room in the closet to hide my luggage. First impressions are lasting impressions and my first impression of this hotel was not that favorable. The front desk person seemed to think I was in the wrong hotel (perhaps I wasn't dressed well enough for him, but I had endured a long day at work and a five hour drive). It was hard to sleep. With any downtown hotel noise can be an issue but this hotel is particularly bad. I think there must not be much insulation. You hear everything outside. But what is most annoying is the constant door slamming. Across the hall from my room was a group of rooms labeled private. Apparently there are elevators in there and it sounds like maybe a break room. Employees use the elevators and when they come into the hall - carrying food or whatever - they let the door free slam. This hotel is right downtown connected to the mall and pedways to the convention centre. The rooms are spacious and really comfortable beds. One thing to watch, for Canadian travellers is they will pre authorize your credit card and then reconcile it when you check out which usually is norman procedure except that it cost me $140 more in the difference in exchange rates from check in to check out.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Indy at the Conrad. Came for a wedding at another downtown hotel, but opted to stay at an alternate hotel with some luxury. It's been a while since we treated ourselves to higher end BUT it was well worth every dollar. We were treated well from the onset at the curb with a smile and during our departure in the lobby when asked if I wanted water while I was seated in the lobby waiting for my husbands return. I booked 7 rooms for this past weekend. Convention in town, hotel was booked (as were all the others) we were upgraded at a cost 45 min after we checked in, (that's fine no worries) we moved our items. My son checked in (reservation under his name, my cc on file along with the other 6 rooms) and he was given a really hard time checking in. We stayed at the Conrad to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. We had a great time. The room was beautiful. We stayed on the 17th floor. It had a nice view of the city. The staff was super friendly and customer oriented. They even gave us vouchers for breakfast the next morning at The Capital Grille. The only negative was that my husband ordered chocolate covered strawberries to be in the room when we arrived as a surprise and they weren't there. He had to go downstairs and talk to the front... From the time I stepped into the Conrad's lobby I knew I chose the right hotel. I've stayed at Conrad properties before and I am glad to see that the service and quality are consistent. The hotel staff was friendly, kind, and caring. They made sure to ask if this was my first time in Indianapolis. The first night we stayed in a deluxe king. It was roomy and comfortable. The last 2 nights we moved to the Corner King Suite. It was great. Separate sitting room and a powder room. We had anticipated... Read more

I went with a family member to the Conrad as a weekend girl's get away. We chose it because of the spa, and that did not disappoint. The room was beyond what I imagined. I liked the separate tub/shower, and the tv in the bathroom. We ordered room service for breakfast, and the food was scrumptious. The only negative is the front desk clerk was extremely cold and not welcoming.

Pretty non-description decor - almost looked dated. When we checked in at 6:30p the 18th floor hallway was full of piles of dirty linens outside rooms. The bath shower had excessive mold in corners and water leaked through the bittom of the shower door onto the floor. Certainly not the level of "luxury" that was expected - but easy to fix. Staff were great and always responsive. For the price point, Internet should be free! Not just the low band-width offered as complimentary.
