I have never stayed at a Baymont Inn & Suites before and this will be my last. While hotel was being remodeled (not a huge deal) the hallways and rooms were completely dirty. First, I didn't complain. I'm not posting as a complaint, just a review. I didn't have the energy to move rooms so I settled. My fault, not theirs. The person who checked us in was rude and didn't even greet me. Our keys did not work the second day we had to have them reactivated. All the construction that was going on, we stayed in a room right in the middle of it. And our room was dirty!

My family stayed at this hotel while visiting for a wedding for 2 nights. The hotel is being renovated, but that didn't really impact our stay. The room that we stayed in was definitely one of the rooms that was recently renovated. The room was clean and almost everything was new inside. Our 2 queen bed room had plenty of space. I'm pretty sure the hotel was going under renovations. The elevator was not working, and some of the carpet in the hallways was torn up a bit. However, our room was nice and clean, the tub in the bathroom looked brand new. The biggest issue was parking, we got in late (after midnight) and were unable to find a parking spot. I really can't fault anyone at this hotel during race weekend for the 500. The place was totally packed, and it seemed that a lot of people were looking for 5 star hotel at a 2 star price. They certainly could have had more folks working the front desk, but other than that, it was just fine.

We reserved 2 rooms for the Indy 500 weekend. The first room was a king/hot tub suite. When entering the room there was no sofa or lounge chair to sit in, only a king size bed and a desk chair. Called front desk and they brought a lunge chair in. I have NEVER experienced a hotel this bad. We travel a lot, and this was horrible!!!! We stayed for 2 nights. 1st night we checked in at 3pm and they stated they would bring us a rollaway. We returned to hotel after sporting event at 9:30pm with no rollaway. Clerk (Lauren?) stated she was not told about it. When we booked the hotel, we did see the note regarding the construction but did not anticipate the extent of it. There was no pool, ice machines were not convenient, wifi was lacking in speed, no common space for our group to convene. We have reservations to stay another time later in the summer but if the construction/renovation is not complete, we will look elsewhere to stay.

This is the third time we have stayed at this facility. It has a great location for visiting relatives who live north of Indianapolis. The hotel is currently in the process of a total renovation, so there are fewer parks nag places and more dust BUT the redone rooms and bathrooms are like brand new. Despite the heat, the pool was not open. Major redecorating was being performed during our stay causing lots of dust. Many of the people we met at the hotel changed to a different hotel during our stay. The carpeting is old and some of the wallpaper was peeling. In fairness, the employees were polite and kind and I felt bad that they had to respond to all of the complaints. I would not recommend this hotel.

I have seen the review before we stayed at this hotel so we knew beforehand that there might be some dust or any 'incomplete' things involved. But to our relief, the dust, during our stay, was minimal, the hallway was clean, our room was very clean, and we can see they have renovated the bathroom. We stayed one night at fishers and the next two at a baymont in Kokomo Indiana because the reservations of many of the members of the baseball team were cancelled at the last minite??? Both motels were very dirty Simple things like hallways were covered with old dirt spots debris and even dead spiders! (Kokomo)

Machines out of ice, internet down much of the time, hallway not vacuumed in three days, toilet clogged and it took maintenance person 1 hour to show up (after a second phone call), no ESPN, ESPN2 or other sports channels, despite them being listed on guide, dryer broken.

The place was a mess - construction - noise - they should not be open with it like that - and when they choose to be the rate should be super low - paying over 100 to stay with the place like that is just wrong - things broken - One ice machine - one washer and dryer- we were there for softball - and there were baseball players too - how are they expecting so many people to be able to have ice or wash uniforms. Rooms are average I guess for the price. Not a 4 star hotel for sure but location is very good for restaurants and for grocery shopping and other shopping as well. As always you get what you paid for! I think every hotel I stay at is always under renovation must be some kind of a tax break I think!

Price was very good. I'm assuming rates reduced because of the construction. We could live with the construction because of price. Free hot breakfast - pretty good the first day (Thursday morning) went downhill every day after that. On Saturday, they came in our room after it was cleaned and took clean towels off our rack- left us 2 towels for 4 people. Said they were short of towels. I read the reviews before we arrived and was very worried. When we checked in we were told the renovations in the rooms was completed except for a few that weren't being used this weekend. That was a relief. We were given our room and when we got to it there was 1 bed and a sleeper sofa. We had reserved 2 beds. Not a good first impression when front desk clerk says he is going to go back and hide due to complaints. Would not normally nook a Baymont but was required to use the "team hotel". Booked room with two beds and only had single bed rooms due to renovations. We were put in a room in the part being remodeled. The door couldn't shut because they were laying carpet during the day. It was noisy & we were very unhappy with the room. We went to the front desk & asked if we could get another room, at first they were trying to get us to stay but then said they could give us another room away from the remodeling. The whole hotel was under renovations, light fixtures missing with bare bulbs, shoe molding pulled off walls, wall paper hanging, primer only on walls, flooring pulled up, renovation mess in and outside building. From rooms that weren't cleaned to moldy hallways, very limited parking, air conditioners that were dusty and corroded- this hotel gets no stars! Stayed here with my wife one nite. Rooms were terrible, smelly, stuff didn't work, and staff was rude. Had to leave late at nite and my wife called me mid day crying because staff held her accusing her of things she didn't do. They were baseless accusations Including alleged damage to an already broken down old room and other bad things they made up to make her pay additional fees. This place used to be a pretty good place to stay. We have stayed there several times.It is under new management and things have really gone down hill. It says they are fully remodeled but what is done is done poorly. We had a toilet that was put in on an angle which caused it to run 24 hours a day. We got there at 4:45pm on a sunday night and there was MAJOR construction going on in lobby. We stood in line patiently while the saws were buzzing and there was only one guy at the front desk. We've always had great stays at the Baymont Inn but this time wasn't that great. They are doing major renovations on the hotel and probably should close while they're doing it. There were broken windows in the side entrance doors, the halls were a mess with work debris and rooms without numbers. The hotel was completing construction and decided it was safe to put a family with a 20 month old in a room that was not completed and very unsafe for a toddler. The air conditioner outside the room, in the hall, had nails all over it, the air conditioner in our room had exposed joints from the bottom of the unit. First room offered reeked of cigar smoke! Second room (to have been renovated) had NO radio, functional TV or desk light or telephone, no fridg or microwave or room coffee. Pillows were square miniatures, but bed was comfortable. Shower was likewise decent, with a very high wall entry. Halls were dirty, many areas sealed off, and no pool. I gave it two stars only because the personnel were pleasant, BUT of no help. Don't go through Hotels.com!

I stayed one night at this Hotel. I checked in one night around 9:30pm., and I left at about 6:00 am. the next morning. I only had contact with two employees while I was there. It was fine. The hotel is undergoing renovations. I believe the guest rooms were completed. Price was very good. The toilet seat was loose. There was an EXIT sign on the second floor that was improperly placed. It should be moved as it was confusing. Hosted our Family Reunion there. Started working with Andrew Barret, (DOS) 9-months before our event in Oct 2015. He sold me on the location based on the total renovation plan that was to begin the following month Nov 2015 and be complete by April 2016. Normally when you see on the reservation in very small print. "This hotel is under renovations" This one was but they maintained cleanliness and the new look in the room was amazing. This was the worst stay in my life, bed was like stone, bath tub dripped ALL NIGHT! There were no towels or soap in the room, the sink was plugged, TV got only a few channels reasonably clear and there were these weird little bugs flying around the room! If it hadn't been almost impossible to even FIND a room in Indy that night I'd have left! Hotel was under remodeling! The updates were looking nice. We got to the hotel this past Wednesday and their was no toilet paper in the bathroom, we were short pillows. The trash in the bathroom was still there from the previous guest (including lady disposables) The jacuzzi had not been cleaned, there was a slimy film along the edge of the tub when we got in. Would not recommend! Windows leaking from rain causing puddle on top of air conditioner and in hallways at windows and some doors. Fire Dept. had to be called to get trapped people out of the elevator which was not repaired forcing customers to use the stairs. I recently visited The Baymont in Fishers for a wedding. The wedding party had a block booked there. I was attending with 3 other childhood friends. The hotel is in the process of being renovated(which we were not told about when booking). Our 2 rooms both lacked mini fridges & microwaves which were advertised. Honestly this hotel needs shut down. The "management" is awful!!!! I had been talking with the sales manager weeks before our stay on the phone, I was reassured everything was perfect for our stay. I travel for work often, I expect a clean fully functional room for my money. I understand there is remodeling however if the guests staying at the hotel during renovations are going to be inconvenienced then close for a month, renovate and reopen! This was the worst stay ever!! There were sinks and drywall and nails, (which punctured our tire) in the parking lot. Renovation is tough but this was ridiculous. I had to clean my jacuzzi tub before even getting in it, very noisy as dirty.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a baseball tournament. Never again will I stay at a Baymont Inn. The hotel was under renovation. Where to begin....we only booked this hotel to gain points toward the Wyndham chain. Unfortunately, this hotel is a BAD representation of the Wyndham ownership of hotels. first I could not sleep, second nite changed rooms the room was dirty with work nails and sheet rock on the floor, I reported it to the 2nd Manager he said he was busy could not clean up floor, I also found dirty garments on the floor, socks and under garments, reported that also, They did nothing I had to wear my shoes in order get to the bathroom. The hotel is in a good location close to local restaurants and malls. It is close to the interstate, but not so close that you can hear the traffic. The room was clean and well maintained. This hotel seemed to be under renovation but still trying to operate. Painting had been done but was not finished inside of our room, a handle was dangling on the nightstand and missing a screw, the room # was written on a scrap of paper outside the door.... It was just rather strange, although it seemed like they were doing good business with the lower room rates.

This hotel is still going through the process of being refurbished, but it seems promising. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms. Once in our room, the sink wouldn't drain. The shower wouldn't turn off. The bathroom was just a bit on the yuck side. When reported they said, "Sorry and thanks for letting us know."

We have stayed at this Baymont in the past and it was ok .,But this time the fire alarm went off Friday night and Sat nite. The management did apologize but that's fine for one night but not two.We also had black mold along side the bathtub and hair on the floor .Room 106 needs attention.I will rate it a 2 just because the wait staff were nice.

We were assigned this hotel for a soccer tournament. They recently have had water damage - we were on third floor and it sounded like an airplane landing in our room. Sheets were dirty, room was dirty. We talked to the front desk and the did give us a 15% discount and moved us to another room. Room was much quieter, but hotel was still dirty. Needed more towels and had to exchange wet ones...good thing we didn't all shower that day!

There were some teens who were running around after 10:00 p.m. and even opened an alarm door, and the manager sent a note to everyone under their doors explaining and apologizing for the incident. The room decor is nice and modern. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the rates are reasonable. I don't know whether or not it's standard, but the tub in the room is a jacuzzi. They also have laundry facilities in the hallway. Overall, a nice place to stay.

We reserved a room with 2 beds. Upon arrival, the room we were initially given smelled strongly of smoke (others noticed it when the door was opened) so we were immediately moved to another room. I was givin a written letter about getting offended and a discount would occur but got invoice for full price after insinuating my tub was overflowing because beneath me was leaking. Had a great two night stay in a hot tub suite. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Great hot breakfast in the morning, and the wifi was fast. The employee at the front desk was not knowledgeable, helpful or efficient. We had called to get specific directions. She wasn't able to tell the address or answer questions. When we arrived & got her idea of what service was, we thought about cancelling and going to another place. Imagine a clean, fresh smelling room. Then add a real hot breakfast, either bacon and cheese egg omelettes or biscuits and gravy with sausage links. And yes, fresh waffles too, and cereal, blueberry muffins, bagels, OJ, yogurt, coffee. And I paid $60 a night. Now you understand the review title, I'll be back!
