Good hotel, clean, helpful staff. Just OK breakfast - if you have time go out to eat. Did not use internet, exercise room, spa, or pool, cannot judge this. Bed was OK. Bathroom was poorly lit. For an overnight stay it was a good hotel.

We (my wife and I) stayed at the Hampton in Evansville, IN this past weekend for the Indiana State "Fit and 50 Olympics". 1st. the day desk clerk, I believe his name was Anthony was just fantastic. If you needed something he didn't wait to get you serviced...he did it himself right then and there. Great young man. I would say the best hotel clerk I've ever encountered. The room was very nice and the stay was quiet. Breakfast was very good both days we stayed and everything was clean.

The front desk clerk was terrific. Helpful, friendly and efficient. Had our keys ready to go and had reviewed the reservation before we got there. Impressive. Breakfast was free-met my expectations of mediocrity. Not bad, but hardly spectacular.

I was quite impressed with the set up of this hotel lounge and conference section. The baby shower was in the conference room but the food was in the room connected and I was pleased the amount of space it allowed for. The staff helped carry gifts out and help with set up and I thought that was above and beyond. It was a great place to celebrate the mom to be.

Antonio or Anthony at the desk was fabulous, very friendly and a joy to talk too he always had a smile!! Room was a standard Hampton room, maid service was slow in finishing up rooms daily but we're very friendly! Only negative would be they need more outlets, not enough for all of the electronics we use nowadays. Decent amount of tv channels. Breakfast was okay, ate oatmeal mostly everyday.

If you put someone on the phone on very first day ever of their job in the hotel then obviously they don't know how to answer questions, I asked for an early check in at 12:30 PM but she insisted that check in time is 3, not everyone leave at 12, some people check out early and house keeping start cleaning rooms early and by 12:30 many rooms are cleaned but the morning shift thinks their job is only to check out people and why should they check in anyone, hite of laziness.

I've stayed in a lot of Hampton Inn's, and I would say this one was my least favorite. The entry light was out, and the shower head had poor pressure and would not fully engage. There were no outlets accessible for use of the iron without unplugging something else, like a lamp, which I needed in order to see to use the iron. However, my biggest complaint was that the ice bucket and water glasses were stored on a shelf at floor level in the bathroom next to the toilet! And the coffeemaker and ... Read more

My husband and I were looking for a hotel to stay in town for a recent class reunion. The first room they gave us had sheets that looked mussed and wrinkled and the pillows had looked slept on. The next morning, they served a delicious full breakfast and coffee. We would stay here again.

The exterior of the hotel is dated - the facade is the original and has not been updated or changed through the years. The lobby is inviting, bright and cheerful. The rooms here are fine. Night desk person during our stay was less than helpful when we inquired about why one of the two rooms was not cleaned.
