I chose Sleep Inn because of the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. When we got into our room I did my usual inspection and found a nasty area near the window that looked like dried puke. There was also numerous stains on the carpet and the room wasnâ??t as clean as I would have preferred (pics attached). When I called the front desk the person at the desk apologized, offered a discount, and asked me to come down and get the key to another room. She said she couldnâ??t come up since she was the o... Nicely remodeled hotel with very clean appearing rooms. Breakfast average and heavy on the starch/carbs. Nicely cooked bacon though but no scrambled eggs. Hot tub, fairly new, nice but pool has missing letters and numbers and needs remodeled or replaced. Saw housekeeping gathering dirty towels in rooms and putting them in large gray tub. After placing dirty towels in laundry chute, they had nicely clean sheets in the bottom of the tub and left them in the tub presumably for future use in ro... Read more

My teen daughters and i were driving from WI to NY and stayed the night. Arrived late and left early. Check in was a breeze. Facilities clean, room clean, beds comfy. Layout of room a bit odd but cozy and great for the price. Would stay again

Newly remodeled; exceptional clean, & you can't beat the price. Friendly front desk & breakfast staff. Breakfast was a nice combo of continental along with bacon & a waffle option. Liked that the sink & vanity where separate from the shower area. Beds comfortable. Lots of food options near by including a Cracker Barrel. Laundry facility down the hall.

We were having our RV worked on and needed a hotel stay for 4 nights without spending a lot of money. Our room was clean, but we did notice that our sink wasn't draining correctly. As soon as I notified the desk staff, it was taken care of immediately. Jessica at the front desk was awesome! She is so friendly and helpful. I did a few loads of laundry ($1.00 per load) and accidentally left the last load of a mattress pad in the dryer and didn't remember till the next morning. The staff had remove... Read more

Room was clean..help was helpful. Adaquate parking. Breakfast was ok. Breakfast room a little small. Conveniently located right of the freeway. I had a room on the backside and never heard a noise all night.

This room was not very clean. There were toenails left on the carpet from when the previous people had cut their toenails. Shower floor diry! Did not like ordering through Trip Advisor either, ended up with handicapped room, the hotel smelled of smoke and this was a nonsmoking hotel. Unable to contact Trip Advisor through their contact us ways so could not cancel or change. Halls were humid and had an odor about them. Breakfast had bacon, nothing to go with the bacon and it was gone and this w... Read more

Our room was quiet and relaxing; however, the décor was like most hotels. It was clean but lacked the new look people look for in a nice Hotel. The spa was nice except it was a little cool. It could have been heated up a bit. The sauna did not work at all. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed the yogurt and juice.

The staff here were wonderful, our room was quiet and clean. The shower head didn't have much water flow but when we down for breakfast my husband talked to desk clerk and found out all the shower heads had recently been replaced with water saving ones. The clerk said he thought they still had some of the old ones around and he would have maintenance change it out if they did. When we arrived back to our room that night, the head was changed and the shower was much better. Breakfast had typic... Read more

Everything was clean, the front desk personnel were very pleasant. Pretty nice pool. Breakfast was a little weak but I'm not usually looking for much. WiFi was good. Nice place to stay when visiting South Bend for a mid-priced hotel.

We stayed here a second time as a halfway point on a trip to Nebraska. Everything was again clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. We were worried a bit when we arrived because there was a large group of Canadian baton twirlers on our part of the second floor. They were loud and talking and drinking (the parents, mostly, not the girls) in the hallway, but they all went to bed by 10 and we had no real complaints about them. The only real problem was that the wireless netwo... Read more

It was easy to find off the interstate and is close to grocery stores and many restaurants, which is very convenient. The morning breakfast was okay, however, it would be better if it was open another hour until 10 AM. The staff are friendly yet there never seemed to be anyone assigned specifically to the front desk. The rooms in general were quite cool and the air conditioner itself was noisy and disruptive to sleep.

Here with a big group, rooms have a bit of a smell to them however they are good size, comfortable and good price. Pool was quite cold but kids didn't care. Staff very accommodating, allowing us parents to use breakfast room for our night time gatherings. Overnight person was quite grumpy :(

My father and I pulled off the highway late at night looking for a place to stay. We stopped at this hotel to see if they had a room. The receptionist was not accommodating at all. First she told me that her system was down and that she could not rent us a room. Then when I asked to use the bathroom she said no because it was locked. I would not have left this review if any of the receptionists replays were said in a hospitable tone but they weren't. Ended up at the Hampton Inn which had a wond... Read more

Service was wonderful - staff is very kind. Cleanliness of the hotel was not even average. Floors, shelfs, shower (especially shower!) needed to be cleaned. Needed to wipe everything down before I even used the bathroom or sink area. Never went barefoot at this hotel!

This hotel is located in a great location- very close to the interstate, restaurants and shopping. There is ample parking. The room was clean- beds comfortable. There was nothing fancy here, but it was suitable for one night at a reasonable cost. The shower and bathroom is typical of a Sleep Inn- small and annoying with just a shower, no tub. This type of shower aggravates me because there is no place for things like body wash, shampoo, face wash, etc. Everything in the room functioned. When w... Read more

Stayed one night two weeks in a row so far with my wife. Rooms are clean, updated, and fairly quiet. Breakfast is better than many hotels that cost a lot more. The evening desk person was VERY friendly and helpful both stays and those serving the breakfast were very welcoming. My wife found the décor very nice and even wants to try putting the same style of photographs on the walls of a room in our new house. We are planning on making Sleep Inn our stop when traveling through Indiana...whi... Read more

Rooms were clean. No funky smell. Beds were really good. Slept really good. Only a shower that has no room to put you stuff. Has a hard time shaving my legs. Hot tub and pool were just ok. Has a place to do laundry. Would stay again for sure. Staff was friendly.

Stay on 9/30/16 was wonderful - very nice room and very comfortable. One room, 2 queen bed and only $88/night (room 130) However, stay on return trip 10/15/16 was awful. Room 321 for a suite (all they had left) and $199 for one night. Sent a letter to headquarters with pictures, it was returned. Spa tub side panel was nailed and leaky spigot in bathroom. Tub area had absolutely no grab bars and too dangerous to use. Lights went off automatically so had to leave microwave door open for a nigh... Read more

Spent a night here while visiting friends in the area. Typical Sleep Inn with the walk-in shower. Clean room, plenty of choices on the TV, average water pressure in the shower, average wi-fi speed. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Close to shopping; other choices on the other side of the toll road. I'd stay here again if the price was right.

I arrived around 11pm after driving from Nebraska without a reservation. Despite a shift change the staff was welcoming and quickly helped me get situated with a nice room. I had a nice room with a king sized bed. The room was thoroughly clean and well put together with no problems. The breakfast selection was slim when I went in and I elected to get a hot breakfast on the road however I also went to breakfast at the start of the time it was put out and things may not have been completely finish...
