We had an overall great experience at the Hampton. We even made a last minute change to our reservation, and they handled the change with no difficulty and tried to make it seem it was absolutely no problem. Clean and well furnished room. Good breakfast as well.

Arrived with low expectations since I've stayed in another hotel in this town several times but thought I'd try the Hampton since the other HIE is crappy too. Most of these chain hotels in small towns suffer from the same set of issues. Lack of maintenance, lack of employees and lack of knowing what clean is. I arrived early, just after 1pm and thought based on traveling experience I could get checked in so I could change and go about the rest of the day. Nobody at the front desk but after... Read more

This is a fairly typical Hampton. Stay in the odd numbered rooms if you don't want road noise. The even numbered rooms face a fairly busy road and not all rooms have thermostats that have a constant "on" for the fan. The staff was helpful in getting me switched on my two night stay. Sure wish Hamptons had more variety in their breakfast - for those of us that travel often it gets pretty old and boring with the same choices coast to coast.

We stayed during renovation process and we were woke up each day by the workers working on other rooms. Maybe if we stay here again it will be better breakfast and less noise as the renovations should be complete.

Not worth the money they are charging during the renovation. You might want to call ahead and make sure they are done. Not at all pleased with the front desk staff. When we checked in the guy didn't tell us they were currently under renovation (nor did the hotel when we booked it). My husband touched the outside of the door to our room and ended up smearing the stain by accident because it wasn't dry yet. He also didn't tell us about the free breakfast buffet and the hours it was open (I ha... Read more

We stayed for 2 nights. The first morning we woke up very early to the construction, which was a little annoying but I understand things need to get done. Beds were comfortable. Clean room. Pool and spa could be updated but I believe they are doing that this month. Hot tub wasn't very hot. But my kids loved it. Pool open until midnight which was so nice. We would definitely stay here again.

I would stay at the Hampton Inn Corydon again, and now that I am at the one in Bardstown, KY, I wished I had not left the one in Corydon, IN. The difference is like daylight and dark. The staff was so friendly and professional at Hampton Inn Corydon. Check in was fast and my room was very spacious and nice with every thing I needed. The bed was great. Very convenient to restaurants and to the main roads.

We stayed here for a night after going to Marengo Cave. The location was convenient--there are several restaurants across from the hotel, and downtown Corydon is a 5-minute drive. This Hampton Inn was in the process of being remodeled, and we had a room on the recently remodeled 3rd floor. Our room was updated, clean, and nicely appointed. However, the mattress was rather hard and slanted toward the middle a bit. Given that it was a recently renovated room, I would have expected a better mattre... Read more

We booked into this property as a mid point on a trip. What a pleasant surprise to find such a nice reception late in the afternoon (staff name escapes me) and a nice sleeping room to use. We were helped in finding a good place to eat that evening and encountered genuine kindness from staff at the property.

The ladies who work here might be the nicest people ever. Linda and the front desk staff so graciously put a bottle of wine in our room after I told her that my boyfriend and I were visiting on our last trip together before his deployment, and everyone we encountered thanked him for his service. It was absolutely beautiful to see employees who cared so much. The room was comfortable and spacious but the staff members made it more enjoyable than any tangible item ever could.

We stayed here in mid-July and found the place under heavy construction. No pool. Sanded wood and drywall everywhere. Glad for a place that wants to make improvements, but the place was also one of the most expensive Hampton Inn Hotels in the nation at this point (we're staying in several on a cross country trip).
