Very clean hotel, with a modern cut. By far the best in the area. Friendly and competent staff. Located in downtown Columbus, walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast is so-so, unfortunately not many other options either... I also use this hotel on business trips, across the street from the headquarters of Columbus' largest business.

This hotel is the perfect location - a few blocks from the Commons, the Museum, Zaharako's, and other great restaurants out one side. Out the other side, great walking trails. And the rooms are nicely appointed, the lobby is a nice gathering spot, and there's food and drink available on site. Staff very friendly!

The moment you walk through the doors, you just get the feel that you've checked into a boutique European hotel. Wide open and airy lobby with sitting areas and a very small check in desk (by US standards!). The open dining area doubles as a lounge where you can comfortably enjoy a glass of wine, grab a bite to eat or enjoy breakfast in the morning. The menu includes many locally sourced items.... don't miss the locally made hot cinnamon rolls, they were delicious!! The rooms are clean and ... Read more

Stayed here for a few days while in Columbus on business. When you enter, you're immediately struck by the funky, fresh decor. Reception was very efficient, even holding onto my bags as I was too early to check in and wanted to wander around town. Rooms are a good size and especially loved the pod coffee maker. Dinner in the bar / bistro was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

Very nice interior and friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and I would love to stay there again. Nice pool and decent fitness center. The only negative comment I would have is about the soundproofing of my room. I could hear the neighbors way too clearly. Hopefully it was just this particular room.

This hotel was such a beautiful place and fit in perfectly with the architecture around Columbus. The staff was very friendly and we especially liked the hotel dog, Miles which made it feel more like being at home. The fitness center was also very nice and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel (it's worth paying a little more)!

I love how a dog greets you when you check in; the room is great, love how it's decorated in a modern style. I love how the floors are hardwood (at least they look like it). Many great amenities, such as a Keurig machine, and Aveda products. Lovely city and lovely hotel!

This hotel is one we've stayed at several times in the past. It never fails to please and is extremely consistent in its quality in all areas. It is a refreshing stop and staying there has always been relaxing and refreshing. We have stayed in many places and this Indigo ranks near the top. It even influenced us to book at the Indigo in Barcelona, Spain and that too was an absolutely outstanding experience! Our most recent stay in Columbus, IN brought us in contact with David at the front desk, ... Read more

My husband and I really love Hotel Indigo! The rooms are extremely well done and comfortable. The hotel is perfectly situated to everything that downtown Columbus has to offer. It certainly doesn't hurt that the hotel staff are super friendly, courteous and accommodating!

We've stayed at this hotel a couple times and always enjoyed it. It has a modern feel you don't get in a place like the Holiday Inn. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They have a restaurant inside that is more interesting and tastier than a typical chain hotel restaurant, local art on the walls, a nice patio to have a beer on, good coffee. There is a cute poodle that hangs out in the lobby for your kids to pet. Free wifi. Speaking of kids - it's very kid friendly - you can ... Read more

We love this hotel and will be going back again in the fall. We were visiting family there and this hotel is located right in downtown. It is new and modern, with hardwood floors in the room. We had breakfast every morning there (free) and it was the perfect hotel for us. In room coffee pot with K-cups was very nice. The owners have there little dog there and the kids loved that. Breakfast was yummy and everyone was very friendly. We will be back!

I once lived in Columbus, and back in the day, the hotels were all clustered out by the interstate offering just the basics. Hotel Indigo is a refreshing addition to the downtown area. The entry is welcoming. The staff is super friendly. The room is well equipped and the bed super comfortable. What's more there are plenty of restaurants nearby including the new Upland Brewery, and access to the extensive trails system.

I've traveled the world - stayed in everything from Yurts to 5 star hotels, and this is definitely one of the best hotels I've ever been in - period! From the second you enter, you just feel as if the owners have gone out of their way to make a quality, modern, inviting, interesting experience! The front desk staff at the time (I believe it was David & Julie) could not have been more helpful. Was my first night staying with this brand hotel, and they upgraded me instantly - and WOW what a roo... Read more

Love this hotel! The hotel itself is very pretty with unusual furnishings. Friendly staff that checked me in. Also desk staff directed me to dinner locations. There is a restaurant in the hotel (didn't look at the menu). Room was large and clean. I love the hardwood floors. My room had large windows and was very pleasant. The hotel is across the street from a very nice park if you like to jog or walk. It is also about a block away from the fun area of downtown (4th street/washington street... Read more

This art deco hotel is so very clean and comfortable. They have lots of pillows and the beds are very comfortable. They had a Keurig machine in the room with lots of K cups of teas, coffees and hot chocolates. Bottled water was available at the front desk complimentary and a nice touch was the bowl of salt water taffy also available. We like to read the paper and they provided us with USA today and there was a Conde Nast Traveler magazine in the room. The floors were hardwood (not carpeted) and ... Read more

An extended weekend trip to take in the architecture of Columbus. Check-in was a quick and painless. The staff was friendly, helpful, and provided us with good dining suggestions. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect. We parked the car and walked everywhere. Overall a wonderful hotel.

Once you park, you never need to move your car! Hotel Indigo is walking distance to everything Columbus has to offer--restaurants, movies, music and of course ice cream. Rooms are tidy and efficient. Breakfast surprisingly good and the staff are very warm and friendly. This is my first choice for all stops in Columbus.

Hotel Indigo is a first class hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable with added bonus of good food available throughout the day. The hotel staff were supremely friendly and helpful. The central location downtown makes it the perfect place to stay for pedestrian tours nearby of stunning architecture. Looking forward to my next visit to Hotel Indigo-one of the best hotel stays I've had anywhere for years!

We stayed overnight to visit the Miller House and tour the many other sites. We got into town and the woman at the front desk gave us a list of restaurants and recommendations. Loved that we could walk to the downtown area! Train is right there, but it did not bother us. My person fav is the hard surface flooring in the rooms. Room is decorated nicely and very clean. A real cut above most hotels. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a quality hotel in Columbus that's conveniently located downtown and in walking distance of many architectural sites, this is the place. The hotel and rooms are distinctly modern and clean. Check in was smooth. Breakfast was decent.

Made an impromptu stop in Columbus to see the architecture and decided to stay at the Indigo Hotel while travelling from Cincinnati to Indianapolis. Super nice people and very cool and funky hotel. Lovely room with great bed and bathroom. Hardwood floors. Very contemporary. The service was great. Also at a good rate. Highly recommend and will come back again.

I have to admit I just don't really like this hotel, it's the second time I've stayed there on business and its just not my style, but it's company preferred. There is nothing really wrong with this hotel, the rooms are well kitted out and trendy but I don't like the big open plan reception, dining, bar area, for me it's too open with no privacy. I also don't think it's appropriate to have a dog laying all over the reception desk. But its right in town so well placed for the bars etc.

I admit I grade hotels based on cost. A basic $100 hotel deserves expectations for a $100 hotel. A $200 hotel has a different set of expectations. This would be a great $100 hotel, at $200 plus (including tax) this is average. The staff is very good, the rooms large and clean. They are however noisy. The street noise comes is like a window was left slightly open. We heard the music alarm go off next door at 5:30 and the buzzer alarm at 6:30 in the other side (or down the hall not sure whi... I've stayed at this property a half dozen or so times in the past 5 or 6 years, and have always loved it. But, it seems to have slipped a bit service-wise judging by my stay last night. No one was rude or discourteous, but it just seemed the welcome from the staff wasn't nearly as warm as it has been on my previous stays ???? with the one big exception of the very nice young guy who actually talked to us and let my son and some other visiting kids give Miles, the hotel dog, treats for doing tr... Great hotel in heart of a small interesting Midwest town. Perfect location, short walk to restaurants, shops, visitor center (where architectural tour originates), kid-type entertainment areas. On a jaunt to tour the (Spendid) Miller House, the Indigo's fresh, bright, mid-century style was a perfect option...and the rooms are spacious, bright, well-appointed. Our small suite had two sinks, a shower and tub, very large bathroom and private toilet, with plenty of space for a group of friends or family getting ready all at one time. Indigo is my first choice in Columbus. Spacious room with hardwood floor and nice beddings. The cafe serves nice breakfast and decent lunch/dinner. Convenient to walk to town for restaurant. It is booked up quickly so best to reserve well in advance.
