We have stayed at this hotel in the past, the first time being in 2009. My son stayed there for a week in February during which there were multiple problems during his stay. Upon checkout, Amy the manager apologized for all of the problems and gave him her card to contact her to give them another chance when he was in town again. There were still some renovations going on when I stayed. But the impact seems to be minimal now in comparison with the previous reviews. The staff is very helpful and excellent. The new and upgraded rooms look very nice and comfortable. My only complaint is with the speed of the complimentary internet. It is very slow and needs to be upgraded.

The hotel is getting a face lift with some much needed improvements. If you are staying there anytime soon expect some inconveniences. There is no dining room and the breakfast is terrible but it's just because of the renovatin process. There are plenty of great breakfast restaurants in the area so I would visit one of those. The staff is really friendly and helpful. It's going to be a great hotel when they finish.

Warm cookies, comfortable beds and friendly staff await. Double tree is the most consistent of the Hilton brands and continues that tradition here. Upscale from typical airport properties. First stay here but will return.

No pool availability & breakfast is located in a closet, food was cold and not good!!! Hotel is going through remodeling. Absolute mess and construction started at 7am right next to friends of ours. They had to move rooms. No worth the headaches!!

had no idea this property was under construction to become a Homewood Suites. My room was finished and was very nice. the bed was too soft for me but I like a very firm mattress. It will be a nice property when it's done......

‚??Business trip, should have stayed somewhere else‚?? I went along with my daughter to a business trip to the Double Tree in Carmel Indiana in March. Not only was the hotel under construction, but the main entrance was up for grabs. Understandably construction can be noisy, but sharply at 8am it was like a canon went off in the halls. Hotel under construction, late night workers, internet not working, no looks on windows opening right to where the construction workers park. Would not go back any time soon, customer service needs work.

I arrived at the DoubleTree only to learn that the hotel is bring remodeled. As a result, there was limited parking due to equipment being stage in the parking lot. Also, access into the hotel could only be made from the front of the hotel due to construction. My room however was located on the back of the property. My advise, stay elsewhere until the remodeling is completed.

usually DoubleTree properties are wonderful. But this one in Indy needs to stay closed while under construction. We were there for a baseball tournaments during 93+ temps and they had no ice machines or laundry. The breakfast food ran out each morning. I asked for housekeeping service just once and she just made the bed, did not change the sheets and left me 2 new towels without cleaning the bathrooms or vacuuming.

The room was recently renovated and very nice, complete with a kitchen, living room area, and bedroom / bathroom. I was a little surprised when someone ran the vacuum in the hallway around 9p-10p, but they are still renovating part of the hotel. I had an issue with the TV remote and advised the front desk, the next morning. When I got back to my room for the 2nd night, I still had the same issue. I have stayed at this DoubleTree many, many times in the past. It is within 2 minutes of the beltway and quick and easy to get in and out. I checked in and discovered that this DoubleTree just changed to a Homewood, so no more famous DoubleTree cookie at check-in - but the breakfast is now complimentary. The hotel is clean and quiet, the newly remodeled rooms are very nice, as is the interior courtyard with pool.

Hilton should have Let us know in advance of change of Hotel brand. Breakfast was below Hilton standards. Eggs tasted like rubber, not much of a choice, no fruit. Manager was nice but girl at front desk need more training. New rooms are nice looking, but used somethings that made the covers have a fabric softener smell that caused an allergic reaction. Two room suite, but no separation between rooms and one TV, so really just one big room.

The hotel is newly remolded, beautiful rooms. Pool and patio was very relaxing. The room temperature at night was perfect, room was very quiet, loved the kitchen in the room which was very nice. Check-in was very quick. The do offer a full breakfast in the morning.

Checked in and they gave us the wrong room. They did change it then we were by the construction very noisy. Room was little, no dishes were in there and they did not have any extra I was told they haven't come in yet. Room was remodeled and updated. We had a patio room into the outdoor pool and landscaping hasn't been kept up, weeds everywhere and not mowed. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and was happy with the quality, however they are going through a big change and they are to put it lightly pitiful. Upon check in we were greeted with a yard sale full of items in the lobby. When I booked this room on the hilton.com website a couple of days before our check-in date, there was no information on the hotel website about these amenities being out of service. The revamp was nice, but the hotel staff was lacking in customer service. Room wasn't ready, as recommendation for changing my room was not an upgrade but in fact a downgrade. website lists this property as a Doubletree but was a Homewood suites instead. Recently converted with lots of construction going on. Told breakfast on weekends goes until 11 am, and shocked when told they ran out of food on Saturday morning when I arrived at 10, and then was told on Sunday that breakfast was over at 10am...breakfast attendant told me that the front desk were incorrectly telling guests the wrong times. I am in a hotel do to issues in my house. Checked in late July 15,2016. Not a parking space to be had. Parking lot was overflowing with drunks and there was one couple having sex up against a car. Lobby also filled with drunks. Check in took 25 minutes . I was told the only parking was in the lot at the adjacent hotel. It's under construction and trying to become a Homewood Suites. Well, sort of. The suites are not like the other Homewoods i.e. there is no separate door between the bedroom area and the living/kitchen area. They also decided to skip their well known pop corn snacks. This hotel is clean and very friendly staff. The hotel was under construction but still very well maintained. It has an indoor/outdoor pool and well equipped rooms. It was very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel has recently been remodeled from a Doubletree to a Homewood Suites. In fact our room smelled like fresh paint, it was a bit overwhelming but the room was beautiful. The lobby is gorgeous, they did a fantastic job. I had a few issues with my stay there. Despite the fact that there were renovations going on, there were no inconveniences or issues. We loved our room, the kids enjoyed swimming and the overall service was really good. It was nice having a regular size refrigerator that even had an ice maker!

I made reservations at the Homewood Suites for two 1 bedroom suites, with 2 queen beds for 7/22/16-7/25/16. This hotel used to be a Doubletree but has transitioned to a Homewood Suites. We had a very very poor two room suite. Handles falling off, wifi nonexistent, and our room was never cleaned while we were gone for the day. I called three times to remind them after we returned in between baseball games.

They advertise one bedroom separate suites with two tv's, one in the separate bedroom and one in the room with the couch and kitchen, that is not the case, they have remodeled and taken down all the walls int e suites and it's one big room, ridiculous. Only one tv that you can only watch on couch or tv, not both. They will lie to you if you call and tell you they are one bedroom suites, but there is not separate bedroom. Went to check in to find that they had moved us for the night to a sister hotel; no discount or explanation offered. We were assured that the second night we would be good to go. Transferring from Doubletree to Homewood Suites seemed like staff was overwhelmed and under prepared. Facility was not completely ready. No bar. No in-house restaurant although suite kitchens provide cooking and hosting if desired.

We stayed here for a ball tournament and 1. we got over charged for our room and they wouldn't fix it. 2. All of our kids got blisters from bacteria growing in the hot tub!! They hurt so bad they couldn't even walk!!! Never once did the hotel staff come and check the levels!! The staff had no clue what was going on! Breakfast was horrible! It was hardly restocked after people ate! Very disappointed in this hotel for the price!

My husband, young kids and i had a great time at the hotel. We spent many hours in the pool and it was a great location for visiting the children's museum and Conner Prairie. We really liked the new look of the freshly remodeled hotel rooms, lobby, and eating areas.

I have never stayed at a HomeWood Suites before. Everything was new and fresh and very comfortable. Glad I chose this Hotel. Front desk was very helpful with directions and requests. This survey on the other hand is taking too long.

The rooms were big. Nice big kitchen with a full fridge. It would be good for an extended stay. They have a nice reception on the lobby with a good variety of food and drinks at no cost. The breakfast was OK. Not great hot options, but they have a variety. Rooms have dated furniture, but overall is fine.

The hotel looks really nice as it was recently remodeled. Maid service was terrible. I had a red stain on one of my comforters and ever day during my 4 day stay I had to request towels. One day it took 3 hours to receive clean towels as they were still washing them. The breakfast was terrible. The hotel was under renovation when we stayed. We were traveling with our two young children so we wanted a suite to be able to somewhat separate our children so they'd be able to go to bed. The renovations have made a huge did fence with this hotel. It is well updated. The kitchenette is clean and new. The staff at this hotel is very friendly and efficient. I have never had a problem in over a year of staying here for business. This hotel has an indoor/outdoor swimming pool with a pass through. Which makes it enjoyable year round. They are using a salt water system in the pool. Not chlorine. The exercise room at this hotel is large with new equipment. It is solid choice for a stay.

Had a nice stay In the newly renovated Homewood Suites. Staff very friendly. Lady that runs breakfast was superior, coming around taking dirty dishes with a smile. Name was Keisha I believe. Had a dirty mattress pad on pull out couch and didn't know until we arrived at 1 am, front desk clerk was a sweetheart trying to find us clean linens and removing mattress pad. Overall good experience and I would stay again.

Hotel has been renovated and has spacious lobby with inviting seating for couples or large groups. Our room was clean with all new furniture and appliances. Loved the wallpaper and light fixtures. Wished we could have stayed longer. Just one note that one needs transportation when staying here. The hotel is located in a business community with no retail stores.

Even under construction in July, the hotel was very nice, clean and peaceful. The out door pool was great and the suites were awesome and very clean. The outdoor security doors did not lock but I am sure they will fix that.

Stayed six nights and had zero problems. Very clean. Staff very helpfull. Breakfast and complimentary managers reception was very good. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is in a quiet area. There are many restaurants in Carmel, although we did have a little difficulty finding them. Ask directions to the Art District of Carmel. it is a beautiful area with multiple restaurants and is very picturesque. A great stay.!

This hotel was comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast had lots of options and was very satisfying. The hotel is also in a very convenient location. There were two staff members who gave exceptional service. However, there were several very rude staff members here.

Nothing to write home about. Very spacious suites, but mediocre service; evening social the exception; Marc was outstanding! The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable, but it could use a little more décor and homey feel about it. Room was not available by check-in time; very unprofessional.

Very nice and new hotel. We were greeted right away and had our room keys in a blink of an eye. The room was so comfortable and was just like a small apartment. Had a little kitchen full sized fridge and even a little cook top. Our room had a couple of small issues but was a pleasant stay.

I took my four year old son on a mother/son trip to the area. We were greeted by the nicest staff member who answered all our questions and made my son feel comfortable. All my questions were answered happily and I never felt like I was a bother to anyone. The place was clean, the pool was wonderful, and other staff members were there to help and smile at us. The breakfast was very good and even a four year old enjoyed himself. I will be staying here again in the future.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was very clean. They served the best breakfast I have had at a hotel that stated a complimentary breakfast was included. Typically it is cereal, donuts, bagels, fruit/yogurt, but this place served scrambled eggs or omelets, sausage or bacon, waffles, along with oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Both days was a full breakfast menu. Will be staying here again soon!

i am a hotel SNOB. and i loved it. I will definitely return. The room and hotel was CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL. It made me feel safe and comfortable. Definitely worth the money just for my peace of mind. The staff was very friendly too. From the front desk to the man vacuuming the corridors to the Breakfast employees. I was very excited to stay here because everything is NEW. I love newly renovated hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is newly remodeled and provides great accommodations for any traveling needs. The rooms were clean, spacious and had new kitchen appliances. Free in-room wifi is a great plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Our GPS couldn't even find this place. Finally stopped and asked for directions and found the it! Once found, checked in, loaded the cart with our things and walked and walked to find a working elevator Only one elevator working so happy to have that. I've been staying at this hotel (formerly a Doubletree) for years and while I'm happy it was updated, it doesn't seem any nicer. Everything seems cheap and flimsy and there's no free breakfast anymore. As a Diamond Hilton member, I have more choices and probably won't stay here again. It's not nearly as good as before.

This is the second time we have stayed here while visiting family. It was great both times. The only time we didn't stay here was when they were sold out. We will stay here on our return trip. Location was perfect.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was wonderful, the accommodations were beautiful, and the location is perfect. I needed a place close enough to Indianapolis, but didn't want to stay right downtown. This place was ideal. The rooms were spotless and everyone I ran into was extremely friendly. From the moment, we walked into the hotel, we were greeted with a kind and friendly staff. The check in was efficient and the rooms are spacious, well decorated, and laid out nicely. The staff is absolutely awesome and our overall experience was great.

homewood suites in carmel indiana was a great place to stay. our room was clean. the pool was indoor or outdoor. they have a bar-b-que pit if you want to use it. the breakfast had several choices on it even if you have picky eaters. they dinner social hour were steak kabobs which were medium rare and awsome. bed was clean and so comfortable. had hot cookies after our late night swim and soak in the hot tub. only complaint was the loud kids i brought with me. i think i'll leave them home... I had a problem with room 132. The bedpost shares a wall with the ice machine on the other side. All night long it makes a gurgling sound. The first night I thought I was sharing a wall a person using a loud vaporizer but when I stepped out of my door in the morning I heard the noise so I walked around the corner, down the hall and there spied the offending ice machine gurgling away. We are hhhonors members and were assigned 332 for about 160$ a night! We were very displeased by the overbearing loud hum in the room. Who would pay for this torture? I guess we did. We asked for a room change and received one with less than a hum. Whole property has hums due to the engineering faults. We cannot recommend this location only due to the noise.

I Would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat! Huge rooms, very clean, full size fridge, couch and chair, very spacious. Breakfast was vert nice and had a great selection. I would love to stay here again.

Was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Felt like I was at home. Room was cleaned upon arrival and after I returned. Staff was beyond excellent from housekeeping to custodial. Keep up the great work!

Hotel was awesome and staff was outstanding, did not want to leave. I loved the breakfast and wait staff, work out room was great and cleaning crew was outstanding would recommend anyone stay at this hotel. Laundry service was great and all comforts of home. Rosa, Katie and Cheyenne definitely made my stay great and thanks to all the staff for all the hard work making my stay a great, three weeks away from home is hard , but they made it easier.

Our GPS informed us that the hotel was in the middle of the highway. We drove around and finally found the Hampton who kindly gave us directions but even those were difficult to follow with the roundabouts. Maybe I was just tired with it being midnight! Had problems with double billing. Still working on that. Homewood Suites was a really nice accommodation. Great breakfast. Front desk attendants were nice and friendly. I like the proximity to the highway and several shopping areas close by.

Checked into hotel following renovations and my room appeared to still be under construction. Checked out early. Never experienced this level of service as a diamond member. I travel for business and when I check in at 11pm I don't expect to spend the next hour finding problems in my room

This hotel was just for a quiet get away for us. It was so nice, extremely clean, and best of all...quiet. The front staff was so awesome and accommodating. Loved it. I will definitely stay here in the future.

The hotel is very nice. The staff is very courteous and attentive. For the cost of the hotel I was very happy. Definitely would go back. The pillows on the bed weren't great so I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked. The fruit available at breakfast was old.

While the public areas are showing signs of age and wear the room itself was excellent. An apartment style room with mini kitchen, lounge and bedroom finished to a good standard and spotlessly clean. Breakfast and snacks provided (although the evening snacks are more like a meal) and first class staff makes this an excellent choice.

The location was good for the meetings I was having. I am not a fan of Homewood suites because of the poor breakfast and low grade of food they serve. (No different than a Hampton). The bedroom was big and cozy BUT I had one big issue. The front desk service was incompetent and apathetic. It was in regards to the phone not working, wake up call, not following up and lying. The next day I missed my meeting and was not happy. the manager was sympathetic and addressed appropriately. Kudos to him.

We where in town for a lacrosse tourney. The hotel was close to fields where we were playing. The hotel was clean and the room served our purposes fully. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

Everything about my stay at the Homewood Suites in Carmel, IN was amazing! The staff was great and very welcoming! Mark, the bartender provided excellent customer service and was a delight to talk to! The rooms were perfectly taken care of and in great condition, I will definitely be telling everyone I know to go there!

I usually love Homewood Suites and picked this particular hotel because of past positive experiences with the brand. Upon arrival we were told the room we had chosen during digital check-in was not available. We had chosen a King Suite with pull-out couch. We were given a room with double beds, unfortunately the room we were given was unacceptable. Upon entering the room there was an overwhelming unacceptable odor. We spent our honeymoon night at this location 8 yrs ago. I had points to burn so we had a date night. Some things have changed and it remains a nice location, convenient to the highway, dining, etc. It's an all around nice place to hang your hat for an evening or two. Try the breakfast potatoes, they are to die for. Not to mention, the little sausages are smokey good.

I thought I had stayed at the Homewood Suites in Indianapolis -- but as I drove in, and my GPS took me to this location, I was pleasantly surprised. Formerly a Doubletree (evidently), it is updated, clean and very nice. The staff was awesome and, arriving on a Wednesday, the evening reception was a positive addition. The room was spacious - with a full refrigerator, stove, etc, big-screen tv and a king-size bed. I very much recommend this location!!!
