I have stayed here at the Holiday Inn in Bloomington for many years with my three boys going to IU. Very nice accommodations as always. Staff is very pleasant and the bonus was that when I checked in I was the guest of the day and got 1,000 extra points for my stay.

Excellent Hotel, staff and location. Very accommodating. Willing to go that extra mile - We always stay here and our visits get better and better. They have a nice bar and a decent breakfast - but its the employees that really make this place work.

My Mom and I stayed at this location and she is handicapped. They certainly went above and beyond to be sure her disabilities were not an issue and re-arranged parking so she could be closer to the entry door near our room. They were prompt to attend to an early morning mishap in the room. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. They remembered our names and even brought tea to my Mom when she stated she'd like some.We were not expecting that! We ate in the restaurant and found the staff ... Read more

I traveled to Bloomington with a girlfriend who was interviewing at the Kelley school of business at Indiana University. At first the hotel seemed great. Check in was easy, we were given free welcome drink vouchers and little business cards encouraging us to rate the hotel on tripadvisor. The room was clean, smaller than expected but comfortable, view was "eh" but it's on a main road so we weren't expecting an amazing view. Because her interview wasn't until the afternoon (the following da... Read more

They offer sleep number beds in rooms and one that worked best for us was broken and sounded like a leaf blower. we mentioned to housekeeping as we left the next am; and she left a note saying it was a different type so it sounded different. The TV would not come on , had to have staff fix it the 3 times we watched it. The housekeeping staff was wrong about the bed; and the front staff offered to let us change rooms, but it was late at night.

On May 28th 2016 my husband and I traveled to Indianapolis for the Indy 500 we were coming from Niagara Falls when we were in Flint Mi we received a call about tickets to the race. We decided that if we could get a hotel room we would go, we use Hot Wire to book rooms whenever we travel and have never had a problem until now and this was a nightmare. We got to the hotel reserved for us just outside Indianapolis to be told the room really is not available. We called Hot Wire only to be put on ho... Read more

Daniel and Emilee were terrific servers/staff during breakfast. Very professional and courteous. The maids are lazy as hell, one maid did not clean the room at all day and we got a new room!! The front desk clerk put us in a new room. The manager took a percentage off the bill. Very attentive staff at this hotel, EXCEPT the lazy maids.

Room was clean and well appointed. There was a sleep number bed which I was really excited about. I ended up not liking it, but that was a personal thing--not a reflection of the hotel. Customer service was exceptional. Price seemed a tad high but not for a Bloomington hotel. My goodness, prices for hotels are high there! Great location--almost next to the football/basketball stadiums and a very quick drive to anywhere on campus. Would not hesitate to come back. Excellent stay.

Room was great. Staff was awesome, very friendly. Had sleep number beds, it was nice to try them but I wouldn't buy them. I would buy the pillows though I love them. Got breakfast and a couple drinks as platinum members. We did not use any other amenities as this was just an overnight stay. Close to the campus.

Very nice hotel with 3 glaring exceptions: #1. Building is laid out poorly. You have to go down STAIRS to get to the elevator (or back outside and around). Not logical at all and would be a nightmare for handicapped people. #2. Very slow and unreliable Internet. Worse than dial up. #3. The hotel offers breakfast and dinner but no lunch? Why not?

We arrived late, just managing to fit in the complimentary drink at the bar--a welcome treat after many hours of driving. No time to enjoy the other amenities, but it was great to get a good night's sleep (I LOVE the sleep number mattress) and complimentary breakfast. The waitress spent a great deal of time sharing information with us (we were college shopping). Only wish we could have stayed another night.

We were moving around for 10 days and this was our best stay of the trip. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Enjoyed the great breakfast and complimentary bar visit. Our room exceeded expectations with a comfortable bed and appreciated the barn door type modification made with bathroom door. They usually are very much in the way. Wish we were coming back to this area soon, as we'd love to stay here again. Wish all our Holiday Inn stays were this nice.

We stayed here so we could visit Indiana University campus, which is nearby. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was small and it needed a higher level of cleaning than we found. There were hairs lying between the sheets the night we checked in. We were not happy about this. The breakfast buffet was poor, not worth the price, or the free voucher. The in-house pub, along with a complimentary drink, was a nice touch. The bartender, Jon, was a good guy.

The front staff members were very friendly and helpful. They upgraded my room to a suite for free (there were 5 of us ... so the extra sofa bed was so helpful), gave us complimentary drinks, complimentary wings (we were too full for the wings), and complimentary breakfasts the next day. The breakfast was good ... french toast, fruit, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, cereal, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Accompanying my husband on a 2 week business trip gave me a chance to enjoy their hospitality! Their team at Tuscany, the onsite restaurant, went way out of their way to tastefully help me stick to a medically mandated menu.
