We were in town for the university graduation. The hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful and make the weekend as special as possible. The rooms have an empty refrigerator, awaiting anything you want to pick up, a microwave, and a coffee maker. In the lobby, there was a large refrigerator with water for the taking, various snacks, coffee/tea and ice water scented with strawberries and melon. The ballroom downstairs had an extensive breakfast buffet - not gourmet, but a good start to th... Read more

Everything was great. Front desk staff couldn't have been friendlier. My only minor annoyance was having to feed the parking meter when I was checking in (but that is the responsibility of the local municipality) as I never carry coins.

Staff was incredibly friendly, the location was absolutely awesome to walk around the city and explore. There was awesome oat-white chocolate cookies in the lobby one evening and there were always people chatting and lounging in the lobby. It made me feel like I was in a city center--it was nice!

Very nice hotel in good Bloomington location. Clean facility and extremely friendly, efficient desk staff. They made us feel very welcome. Beds were comfortable - the pillows were plentiful and just what I like. Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Would have preferred to be able to order from a menu. Parking is in a city lot and self park is still $10.00 per day.

The Hilton Garden Inn has alot going for it. Indoor parking, exterior courtyard, downtown access near the courthouse and comfortable rooms. But the best thing about it is the people. Courteous, smart knowledgeable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on staying in Bloomington. Oh there is one other thing, the breakfast buffet was pretty good.

This is the premier hotel in Bloomington, Indiana. The rooms are clean, lavish, & comfortable. The staff are friendly, hospitable, & ask regularly if anything can be improved. You are pampered & made to feel welcome. We were there over the July 4th weekend & they even provided chairs outside to watch the parade. There is a good restaurant on the premises and parking behind the hotel at $10 daily. Although the rooms are somewhat pricey, it is worth the value.

There is nothing particularly special but clean rooms are a deal breaker and they are always above standard, the resturant is solid for bar/hotel food, the staff is always accomodating. Very nice hotel with exceptional staff. Many of the employees particularly front desk staff are hospitality students at IU and they go above and beyond to provide top notch service. This hotel was alright. The room cleanliness was average. It almost looked like they didn't really vacuumed the room after the previous guests. The blanket sheet had some stains and the bed sheet was inside out, which made me wonder if some one just flipped it. We asked for both of those to be replaced, and they did.
