We stay at this hotel almost monthly when visiting our son. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is decent. The pool and hot tub are an added bonus as we usually have our 8 year old with us, this gives her something to do in the evenings.

Quality Hampton experience as always. The hot water was lacking in the shower but everything else was great. Nice pool and hot tub here to relax. Really great location with stores and multiple restaurants around the hotel. Very quiet room even though we were right next to the elevator.

Very nice room and awesome service. Second year in a row booking here for this event and will continue to do so. The only set back is the interstate but if you as for a room on the other side then it's not a problem at all.

I needed a good night of sleep to gain strength for the remainder of my short trip. Because of the cleanliness and comfortableness of the room, I was able to do that. The facility offered a fitness center, a swimming pool, a business center, and breakfast... These are all things that make my stays there beneficial and productive.

Booked room 4 months in advance knowing that we wanted a non-freeway side of hotel room. Made the request personally on the phone with the onsite hotel manager - not the call center. Checked in 24 hours ahead of time online only to find out the only rooms were the freeway side of the hotel. Discussed with manager several times only to get nowhere. they could have cared less. not even an apology or something to try and make the stay ok. After 3 sleepless nights we left. Couldn't have been ... Read more

This Hampton lives up to brand quality. Good access to interstate but still quiet and comfortable. Rooms very nice. Cookies are great and bacon with breakfast even better. Not much around but a good stopping place.

This is a great hotel. The location is convenient - right on the highway and easy access to Auburn and other neighboring areas and only a short drive from the Ft Wayne airport. I always enjoy the staff as they are very friendly but yet professional. Breakfast is a great assortment and always delicious. I stay here whenever I come to town.

All the odd-numbered rooms are literally fifty yards from a major Interstate highway. I turned the air conditioning fan on to run all night and played music but it still could not drown out the noise.

I was needing to a town north of here for a business agenda and this was the closest Hampton. I try to stay at Hamptons when possible and this was a very good choice. The room was clean, the staff was very pleasant, and it was just off the interstate. Plenty of food options within 1 mile. I will stay here again. Only note: Weather did affect the Television. It was very nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Good value

The hotel was great. The staff were all very friendly and nice. The hotel look very well kept, clean and inviting. The pool and hot tub area were also clean and well kept. Only thing I would suggest is requesting a room on the opposite side of the interstate. It was fairly noisy all thru the night.

The staff went above and beyond my expectations. My room was very comfortable. Housekeeping staff were very good about leaving me extra coffee. The bed was extremely comfortable. And the room had a very good internet connection. The only thing that took away from the experience was the road noise. Other than that, no complaints. Looking forward to my next stay.

We spent the weekend in Auburn, Indiana enjoying the Auborn, Cord, Dusenberg Car Museum and the Kruse Car Museum with family. This hotel was located close to our destinations. Outside and inside appearance were neat, fresh and looked almost new. The rooms were well appointed and well kept. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Hampton always provides comfortable accommodations at reasonable prices; small-town friendliness exhibited which one would expect in a small town attracting tourists. Breakfast ample with an excellent egg/ham/cheese casserole which seemed to be a new item.

There isn't too much to say - they are mostly all alike and are only remarkable when they fall short of the norm. Room seemed a little larger than normal. Check in was easy and quick. Location is convenient just off of I-69 and a bit west of downtown.

Nice first floor room on the side away from traffic (even numbers). Friendly staff and good location. The breakfast was sub-par. Powdered eggs were exactly that -- still powdered. Complimentary Wi-Fi slow!! We visited Sechler Pickles and the Auburn/Duesenberg museum. Both were worth the visit.

Clean rooms, hotel staff friendly and helpful. Located near a movie Theater and restaurants. City is clean and people in the area are nice and offer suggestions on what to do or go see. Pool are could be better as with the breakfast. They are ok. Coffee is good.

Upon reviewing our visa bill on our return home we found an extra $20.00 charge. A call to Hampton elicited the comment that they automatically add that change in case we would incur other charges. They said it would be taken off our bill. The question becomes would that have happened if we did not notice the charge. Also it appears if nothing else they get to hold on to the money and it is only released at their discretion.

Plus side: Hotel was good value for money and very clean. Ability to select room online is a very good feature. There were fresh cookies at night, which was very pleasant after travelling all evening. Negatives: The beds were too bouncy, would have liked a better blanket (the duvet cover is too thick to use); the room needed better lighting; and the breakfast was not good at all.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The personnel....high marks. The breakfast was more than adequate, hot or cold morning food, mmmm good. I recommend this to anyone that expects perfection from a Hilton location.

Clean rooms - friendly and helpful staff. For such a small town this hotel could rival big city accomodations. Near several places to eat and minutes away from Fort Wayne and the lake areas. Very pleasant stay.

Always like staying at Hampton Inn. This one is very close to a major highway but is pretty quiet if you ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The breakfast wasn't as good as usual, the fruit was still frozen solid.

Perfect experience in every way. I have not one suggestion to make. The hotel is spotless, the staff is professional and friendly, and the reservation check in and out is streamlined. I will search to stay at a Hampton from now on when I travel.

from the moment you walk into this hotel, you are greeted by one of the most caring and genuine staff I have ever met in all my stays throughout the states. The hotel is clean, the rooms large and roomy, the bathrooms clean, bright, and roomy, and the morning breakfast has quite an array of tasty items, both hot and cold, lots of fresh fruit, etc. And those warm cookies to greet you in the early evening were most welcome!!

I-69 runs adjacent to the hotel. The highway noise was so loud on that side of the hotel that it kept me from sleeping. When I mentioned it to the guest representative working the counter the next morning, I received no "sorry to hear that", and was not offered the 100% Satisfaction. If you stay here, I would recommend asking for a room away from the highway.

When I pulled up my first thought was, "A bit boxy looking." As I walked in I saw that the decor was very morern. Nice are set aside for breakfast. Although, they could have used less couches and more tables and chair. Nothing worse than sitting at a table that is chest level. The only downside is the bathroom shower was done on the cheap. The water was hot, so that was good.

The property is clean and updated. The parking lot is NOT well lit I almost missed the turn into their parking lot. I was traveling alone and parked as near the door as possible. I would not want to go back to my car alone after dark. To clarify the property is in a very safe area but these days One never knows. We have gold status but the person working the front desk didn't acknowledge this. Usually we are offered a room upgrade if available and complimentary water and snacks. ... Read more

My brother and I stayed here while visiting the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Auto Museum. Reservations were courteously handled by Amy.The property is well maintained and convenient to restaurants and entertainment. Reception, the room, and amenities were excellent.. Breakfast was average. Would stay again in a heartbeat.Contrary to other reviews, found my room to be quiet and did not notice traffic. Took in a movie at the cineplex across the street. Very convenient.

Staff was very courteous and accommodating. Note: Clothes closet is hidden behind full length mirror--you might have to ask how to open it!

We stayed here because our daughter had an overnight college visit at Trine in Angola. I travel a ton for work and used points for one night, whirlpool room. We checked in late and when i asked for a bottle of water because I was Hilton member the front desk clerk said "well, we don't technically have to give it to you because we're a lower end hilton brand". One of the best hotel in the area, but very noisy. Earplugs will make for a perfect stay. Gym and pool are nice. Friendly staff and adequate breakfast. Room equiped with fridge and microwave - a plus considering restaurants in the area are not that good: mostly fast food chain or below average restaurants.
