I stayed here two weeks while on business. The hotel staff was friendly overall and answered any questions I had on the area. The exercise room was a little lacking and basic, so if that is an important feature probably not the best choice. I did not have any issues but another tenant had ants in bathroom, the staff took a very rapid response in handling the situation, moving her to a different room and taking care of the bugs. My husband and I have been staying at the Hampton Inn for the last few times we visited Chicago. It is close to our family and accessible to the city by car. If you wish, you can take the train into Chicago from a nearby train station. The bedrooms we have stayed at have been very comfortable and spacious. You can request to have mini fridge and microwave if you want. There is a small gym, for those that want to work out. Additionally, they provide a nice breakfast, which is a great way to star... I enjoyed my one night visit here in April. The hotel is located near an office park so you do not hear road noise. The surrounding neighborhood felt safe. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our king room with a sofa was clean and spacious. I liked that the bathroom was only a step in shower stall and not a tub combination. This hotel is comfortable and quiet. It seems suited for business customers. I feel it would not meet the needs of families who have children or people who are casual and on vacation. We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Chicago Metro (Forest Park Station). It is only 5-7 minutes away by car. The hotel property was nice and affordable for the area. The trains run 24/7 and the ride into the center of The Loop is a tad over 30 minutes. Beds are full size, not queen. Not nearly big enough for a couple. The pillows and beds are not comfortable at all. They left ear plugs in the room as a courtesy for what we thought was snoring. Turns out it's so you don't hear other people's doors slamming all night. Couldn't cool down the room. It was just a horrible experience.

I don't know why this hotel does not have more stars! I chose this hotel over a 3 star one based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. Friendly staff, clean and elegant rooms. Great price. I definitely recommend it.

Checked online what was close to the funeral home and relatives and found this hotel, glad I did! The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. Turns out we were only a few miles from all events I needed to attend.
