The guy at the front desk was amazing. My sister and I needed a place for 2 nights in a pinch, and this was one of the only hotels in town not surging prices for the State Fair. Room was clean, and this part of town is very safe so I wasn't worried. Would definitely stay again.

I messed up my online reservation and the man working the front desk overnight was so kind to me. I was so tired and frustrated with myself and he didn't make me feel bad and helped me out quickly and efficiently. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Solid breakfast. Highly recommend!!!

It was my 1st time staying at a Sleep Inn. Went there for a short visit to Springfield, IL. with my family. The young man at the reception was very helpful, courteous & nice. His name is Zachary. The only thing I did not like was the fact that there was no bath tub in the room. The stay was good, breakfast was good as well, there were restaurants nearby for dinner, drinks, etc. It is also extremely close to Target, Walmart, Gas Station, White Oaks Mall and too far from historic sites.

Ok ... If you like things clean and nice this is not for you. This is an outdated and old Sleep Inn for the budget minded ! We wanted a bargin and will rethink in the future booking a hotel as such. I could say a lot but I booked it so had to live with it ... and it was awful !

Decent place at a good price. Close to many places including major retail and fairgrounds. Very friendly staff. Breakfast included. Starbucks and several restaurants very close by! The pet policy is great up to three pets for one time $ 25 fee

Upon booking, didn't know this place was under renovation, so had a construction mess outside when we pulled up & lobby was torn up too. Plus it sits next to a railroad track. Although couldn't hear much of that noise, the room walls are thin, could even hear neighbors coughing. In addition, the heating/AC unit sits right next to bed, didn't use it because of that and it was filthy. Bathroom facilities are not private, practically part of the room. Now on to good things...although the room was t... Read more

We were stranded in Springfield when our car broke down in June of 2016 and had no place to stay. Pricecline led me to the Sleep Inn but the reviews were less than encouraging. I'm glad we went ahead and stayed here because they did some MAJOR renovations and are in the process of more. Our room was newly re-done. Everything was fresh and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, the room was adequately cleaned and large in size. The shower was huge and there was a fridge and microwave in the room w... Read more

I stayed the 1st part of June 2016. The night before a flight. It was clean and quiet, the only part that was a surprise was the construction in the lobby. That however was not a problem for me. Also you should know that this is a pet friendly hotel. This matter for those with pets and those that prefer not to stay where pets are allowed. Yes if I needed this place again I would stay for a short time.

Hotel was clean, breakfasts were great but most importantly the staff were awesome. All the staff were most helpful and friendly but I especially want to thank Latoya for being kind and helpful and Sheila for being so understanding and good at her job. Cleanliness, price and general condition of a hotel are very important but the most important thing is the staffs treatment of guests. ALL the staff were most helpful and friendly. I worked mostly with Latoya and Sheila and they were great. Thank ... Read more

Not a bad stay except for half the lobby lighting being off. According to hotel staff the owner wants to save money. Please correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the price people pay include the lighting ? ALL of it ? Not to mention appearance of the property being closed. Yes , it's that dark. If all this doesn't wake the owner up maybe some poor sighted senior that trips and falls suing the property will. How much money will be "saved" then ?

My daughter and I stayed here during her recent softball tourney in Springfield. We travel often and we try hard to get the best for our budget. This location more than met our needs. It is close to many restaurants, shopping and a great location to the ball fields. It is close to the interstate but the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was just right. Our room was small but clean, and my daughter loved the big shower. Every staff member we encountered was extremely nice. I felt ... Read more

Arrived 1 am checkout by 11am. Everything just seems like it needs a cleaning mainly carpets. Carpet on one side of bed is peeling up. Shower door opens out, dripping water everywhere, when opened. Easy check in and check out. Breakfast room was small.
