We stayed here for 1 night before leaving on vacation. It was a very comfortable stay, they upgraded us to a suite since we are platinum and treated us very well. We left before breakfast since we had an early flight but, they had muffins, fruit, orange juice and coffee to take with you. That was a plus for us. The shuttle drivers were very courteous and took us to the airport and back very quickly. The owners of this property sound like they do a very good job of taking care of the prope... Read more

Not a bad hotel but it needs a full refresh.... Stayed two nights and it just needs work. The good..... The staff at the front desk and the cleaning staff were very, very friendly and helpful. No complaints at all there. The breakfast was OK but stuff ran out quickly and the pancake machine was having issues..... Staff there wasn't overly effective but weren't standing around either. The exterior is pretty dated and needs an upgrade and the windows seem cloudy and need replaced in the room.... Read more

We had to leave at 4 am to catch a flight but the beds were good. Spent a few minutes at the pool. The kids fountain didn't work but it was OK cause we didn't have any little kids. I thought it was a hot tub. Ha silly me! Very close to the car rental returns and airport. Nice area in the lobby to print off boarding passes.

Stayed at the Rosemont HI O'Hare with my family twice, after arrival in the US and the day before departure. Very convenient hotel, large room, and friendly service from front desk and at breakfast. Breakfast was as expected, with pancakes for the kids too. So value for money. As an IHG member I like the HI Express formula and this hotel met the expectations.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast is consists copious and good in a very pleasant and spacious room. The bathroom, however, is ridiculously low sink, counter and commode. I am 5'1 and the vanity was to the height of my leg. Tough to bend over to rinse your mouth or splash water in your face. I mentioned it to the desk clerk and she said that many customers complained. So, if you are tall, beware.

My family of four stayed here as part of a room block for a sports tournament. Check-in: we arrived around 2:30 and they had a room for us. Parking was free. I asked for four keys and they gave me two. Lobby was nice. Room: rundown with poor electrical and small, worn (double) beds. The wallpaper was bubbling and coming apart. The electrical plugs were worn out so we had to mess with charging cables to get them to stay connected. The small counter space in the bathroom included a Keurig c... Read more

Bathroom is tiny and again worn and a little dirty. Bed okay, but 1 sheet had a stain on it....Shower barely gave water spray, floor bottom stained, walls show mold. Breakfast was to be suppose to serve until 9:30; at 8:30...1/2 empty, broken machines, no coffee, water instead of juice coming out, kids touching what food wa... Read more

Based on recent stays at other Holiday Inn's, this one needs some TLC. Hotel shower had ceiling paint peeling off, tub did not drain properly, windows needed some serious cleaning, and breakfast food was overdone. Oh, and please stop putting the coffee makers in the bathrooms, that's just disgusting (moved ours out of the bathroom to have more space) and had to clean under the unit. I've had better and nicer stays at Holiday Inn Express'. I probably should have asked for a refund for the roo... Read more

We watched this hotel bring built when our grandson was born 10 years ago. He now stay with us when we visit him. He likes this hotel with a nice swimming pool and breakfast. We always enjoy our stay and everyone is nice. We do not think charging $3.00 for a soda that cost $1.00 is a good option. We Aldo do not think the hostesses for breakfast should be rude if we are a few minutes late for 9:30 am breakfast and the we watch them come in and eat all the breakfast leftovers. We stayed here prior to a morning flight out of O'Hare. The rooms were clean with a fridge and sink. Reliable and friendly shuttle service, and the small shop area of the hotel offered snacks and beverages for breakfast so you can avoid over-priced airport food. The price was just OK, but included the ability to use the parking garage for our vehicle while we were on our trip.

Checked in on Saturday July 9th to stay the weekend for the Adele concert on Sunday July 10th. When we went to check in, there was a line of about 7 or 8 deep. One man was working his butt off trying to answer the phone, check people in and answer other issues as he was by himself. Someone had not shown up for their shift. I'm just going to get straight to the point. I came this hotel for business I stay here quite often but when I do I learned to stay away from a specific agent Sandra. For the amenities that they offer thy offer, other rooms should be renovated as well. We got there by chance since we missed our connection flight and the airline put us there. I stayed here just a few hours (less than 4 hrs.) from an exhausting travel day full of delays and re-routing. I can't say that the pricing was excellent for a one night stay but it was in line with what the other hotels nearby O'Hare airport (2 miles or less) were charging on 8/22/16. After spending a night at an airport before, I didn't want to do that again and just wanted a comfortable bed and a shower. I booked this hotel for 6 days, left on the third day. First day they put us in a room with a broken chair, it was an omen... Next day the air conditioner broke down and we had to move to another room at 2:15 am. On top of that we didn't get room service for 2 days. Apparently someone forgot to put in the system that they moved us to another room. Awfull experience, will never stay here again.

I am a IHG Royal Ambassador/Spire Elite so I spend a great deal of time at IHG hotels. Most are terrific with great service, clean rooms and friendly staff. This hotel had none of those things. Actually I would give this 3.5. A great location but the hotel needs attention. It's in the small things. Bathroom is small, fixtures need attention. Include an extra shampoo & conditioner. Breakfast was adequate, but they ran out of coffee for a time. For the price, this could be better!

Starting with the unfriendly reception, continuing to the tub that doesn't drain quickly, the clipped toenail and ants found in the bathroom and finishing with the somewhat unclean room and sagging bed, this hotel is unlikely to see us again. On the upside, the television, it's remote and the air conditioner worked... So, not a total bad stay.

I stayed here because options were limited and I had an early flight in the morning. The hotel looks and feels like it's had a hard life, the rooms look worn and the public spares are tired and dirty. At check in the staff were only interested in having a personal conversation. Pretty much what you'd expect from a hotel near an airport (not that near though if getting a cab if shuttle doesn't appear), it's a vast old place that could do with some TLC but staff are fantastic, rooms quiet and spacious and it has all the facilities you could ever need, plus free late check out. Interestingly, the nearest place for food is a gritty Sports Bar next door that does decent food and has about 45 TV screens in for all your sporting needs.

We had an overnight layover in Chicago and opted to stay at the HI Express. As always, the check in was simple and quick. Transport from and back to the airport was included in our stay and much appreciated. Our wait at the airport for the shuttle was less than ten minutes and the driver was courteous.
