We are Hilton Honors members and like to stay here when visiting family in Chicago. The hotel is always clean and comfortable. There are some great weekend rates which makes it so nice versus staying downtown Chicago. It saves us over $100 a night! Drury Lane Theater is right next door to the hotel and it can be nearly impossible to find somewhere to park if there is a show going on. There have been some loud groups staying here where we have had to call the front desk, but they have addressed... Read more

Our stay was very comfortable at this Hilton Suite. Conveniently located and easy access to restaurants highways. The staff was very cordial and helpful in answering our questions. The Suite style is very comfortable for families with children, and the ability to access the bathroom from the bedroom as well as the living room is extremely helpful.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. I really liked having "adult only" in the pool from 9pm to 10pm. That was an unexpected benefit. The patio area is lovely and the furniture is very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, especially Pat Jacobs at the frond desk. she was more than happy to accommodate my request at check out. The bathroom was spectacular. Only a few small details prevent me from rating this hotel a 5: 1) The patio area needed to be more thoroughly maintai... Read more

Hotel was right next to major highways and had plenty of restaurants in the area as well as food available downstairs. I was there for business and the hotel fit every need I had. The breakfast was a little overrated to cost $18 but it was still an overall clean, quiet, and relaxing stay.

Nice hotel with a great location to interstate, restaurants and shopping. Hotel restaurant menu is tasty but nothing special. Suites are nice however, not lamps may or may not work, and cleanliness varies as does cable. Internet is extremely slow and intermittent, it will stop working for brief to extended periods of time then re-connect to the server.

I take Memorial Day trip every year with my sis to this part of Chicago to pay respect to my mom. It is short distance from the hotel to there. Hotel location is great, close to all the places, restaurants, Costco, etc. Driving to Chicago downtown is an easy drive from the hotel. Staff is great, room is great, price is compatible. I would definitely come back to this one.

It had a nice pool and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice, it came with our package deal. We got the play, the hotel, dinner and breakfast. It was reasonable and I would recommend it to anyone who loves plays.

We stayed here recently while visiting family in the area; used to live nearby. Our room was clean and fairly comfortable but decor seemed tired and outdated. We had free low speed internet as HHonors members but it was not consistent. My biggest problem was the poor lighting in the bathroom; the only lighting was in the ceiling behind me so my face was partly shadowed. Very difficult to apply makeup. There was a lack of modern outlets, and the couch was very squashy to sit on. We were on... Read more

We are a family of 4 (children 9 and 6) and were invited by the grandparents to join them in Chicago for the weekend. We jumped at the chance since we have lived in Iowa three years and hadn't gotten around to visiting this nearby large city. Friendly staff, beautiful lobby, ridiculously large room, clean Just staying overnight on our way out of Chicago. Checked in late but our son was looking forward to a few minutes in the pool before bed. Very disappointed when he found out it was "adults only" after 9pm. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was for the pool and we didn't find that information anywhere on the hotel website. Probably wouldn't have picked it if we had known ahead of time. This hotel has huge rooms with a separate bedroom from the living room. The bathroom had both a shower stall and a bath tub. The room was very quiet with no hallway noise. Request a room on a high floor to avoid the light coming into your room from the parking lot next door. This hotel is near a mall with Nordstrom, Macy's, and Lord & Taylor to name a few.

As always, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the mattresses were super comfortable. I stay at this hotel so often, that the staff know me by name and know exactly what I need before I ask for it. There is a shuttle service that will take you within 5 miles of the hotel for dinner, etc. The location is great with a mall and very good dining options within walking and shuttle distance.

One of the best Hilton experiences I've had. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clone them, please. Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Reasonably priced, convenient to convention facilities and area restaurants.

Spacious suite & spa bathroom made our week stay comfortable. Hotel us conveniently located for us to visit family & friends. Close proximity to Drury Lane Theatre made it easy for me to walk there to attend an event.

I really enjoy this hotel. I stay about the same time every year. The digital key did not work at all for me. I checked at the desk but she was unable to get it to work either. The room was very clean although a few hairs were seen upon arrival in the bathroom but the room was cleaned very well the next day. We ate in the bar and it was very good. I think the hotel is visually pleasant and very nice.

We stay here about once a year when we want to get away to the Chicago 'burbs. The pool was crazy crowded with kids, so we were concerned things might be a little loud. However, the quiet policy of the hotel was maintained nicely, and there were no issues with noise. Hooray!

We always stay here while I am visiting my corporate office nearby since the location is great, but the reception staff is the best, particularly Pat who always has a great smile for my wife and I when we arrive. Breakfast is a treat as well with Allen and his fellow staff members making sure we get quick attention when we are in a hurry and leave us alone when we have time to relax.

The rooms were very spacious with a living area in addition to the traditional bedroom only hotel. Bathroom was huge! Loved that the rooms came with both a fridge and a microwave. I didn't get a chance to use them this stay, but usually when I travel the hotel never has a microwave when I need one!

Hotel staff is rude. Not enough towels in room. Waited an hour for more when we offered to come and get them. Let guests have parties in their room. Rooms are very nice as long as you don't have to deal with other issues.

Good hotel in general. Glass elevators adorn an atrium in the center of this hotel which is an atrium. A very nice Embassy Suites look. Rooms at this property are very dated. I just do not expect peeling wallpaper, and old chipped furniture when I stay at a Hilton. I expect everything the name stands for, thus my last 2 trips have not been up to my expectations. Breakfast staff could spend less time chatting, and more time getting things ready. Saturday breakfast was almost 20 minutes late, and ... Read more

We booked a suite on Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel offered good rate. As Honors gold, we received free breakfast, which was quite adequate for a regular breakfast. The hotel was clearly not crowded during the holiday, and everything worked out fine. Our room was spacious and clean, and sofa bed was also decent in quality. The hotel is next to a theater so occasionally there was heavy traffic around the hotel, but we did not hear noise. Overall i found this to be a decent hotel. Nothing outsta... Read more

I found this hotel to be a solid choice in the area. I stayed in a queen suite, and the room was in decent shape despite its age. The sofa bed was of quite good quality. In the bedroom, there was a compact machine for cleaner air, which did help. I received free breakfast as Hilton Gold member, and the food was adequate. Of course if I had to pay for it, the cost would be $18 or higher per person. I did not use the gym, but it was there.

Have always had great experiences at this hotel with exception of breakfast buffet. Avoid breakfast buffet. Otherwise clean friendly staff. Great location. Many attractions nearby and many restaurant choices.

I have had several meetings at this location and cannot recommend it more highly. The staff is incredible and always on top of any last minute needs for a meeting. Beatta is the main meeting organizer and she is amazing. Great place to stay for business.

There were only minor annoyances during our stay, but the well maintained environment, well appointed suites (including refrigerator and microwave) along with a location near shopping and restaurants were perfect!
