We have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn a number of times and always been happy. One concern is the parking. If there is a performance at the Drury Lane Theaters next to the hotel, it is impossible to find somewhere to park. The prices are very reasonable on weekends and a much better option to the costly hotels of downtown Chicago.

Our room was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was that the coffee machine did not work. However, our schedule was very tight and we did not report it until checking out. The cafe breakfast meal was a tad pricey.

I chose this hotel because it was close to Loyola Med School, but will find another Hilton product next time because of the transportation difficulties gettin to the train/metro. The beds were very firm, not typical of Hilton quality. There was a very small bar area which isn't typical of Hilton Garden Inns.

This hotel is conveniently located, but we had some issues with housekeeping and air conditioning. We had to keep calling to get our room cleaned (one day it wasn't done at all). The air conditioner would not stay on. On the plus side, the shuttle service is excellent.

Good access to major highways. Proximity to shopping and many good restaurants, both average and moderate expensive meals. This hotel had some decent workout equipment, including a pool for relaxing, although too small for a aquatic workout. Staff was friendly and helpful upon request. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable, especially for a hotel bed. And plenty of pillows. I would stay here again when I am in the area the next time.

Clean room, friendly staff. The only thing that needed updating or fixing in our room were in the bathroom. The brushed-brass door handle functioned, but sagged. The tub was a bit worn and had a chip on the bottom, in the tub. We could hear the crying baby in the next room, but, fortunately, it was short lived. They offer breakfast in the lobby, for a fee ($13?). Very close to Oakbrook Mall.

Facility was clean, quiet and convenient. Ground level parking on Saturday night was impossible. A wonderful employee, named Ashley came to our assistance to ease the situation. It made getting to our room in the rain, with a crying newborn and a great deal of luggage, much simpler. Thank you.

We were attending a wedding in the Oak Brook area and stayed 1 night. The next morning we wanted to tour downtown Chicago but couldn't meet up with our friend that we were staying with the next night in the downtown area. We were in the area for a concert at Tinley Park but wanted something close enough to go into Chicago. This hotel was friendly, clean, comfortable, quiet. The Drury Theatre was right across the parking lot. Just a short drive to a Metro station got us into Chicago. The front desk had a train schedule for us. The price was a great value compared to many of the other hotels I researched. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel needs fumigating or a heavy dose of frebreeze, because the odor is pungent and it will follow you down the halls to your room. I picked this hotel because of how close it is to my office and because I am a Hilton member. I stayed in this hotel in particular 5 to 6 times before, but something about this stay has rubbed me wrong. The drab colors of the carpet and the uncomfortable beds I usually can deal with, but the smell just was too much my stay. Again, the smell was horrible. I ... Read more

I stay at this Hilton Garden Inn frequently. Everyone there is very friendly, from room service to house keeping to the front desk. They make it their job to make you feel comfortable. Rates are very good compared to similar hotels in the area. For HHonors Diamond members you get the high speed internet access for free, which is pretty fast compared to internet at other hotels. I would highly recommend this Hilton, especially for business travelers.

Stayed for 2 nights. Downtown is easily accessible by taking the complimentary hotel shuttle to the Metra train station. Also very close to Toyota park.....less than a 30 minute drive. All in all, very satisfied. Hotel staff were very helpful. I enjoyed chillin on the patio in the morning with a cup of coffee. My kids loved the pool. Our room was super clean. Only complaint is there is no free breakfast of any kind. But I did indulge in the yummy infused water.

The service at this hotel was wonderful, but the hotel could have been a bit better. We had a few issues pop up that were handled, but others we not. All in all I was happy with my stay, but would be a little leery to go back. Parking was a nightmare as well. The hotel is located next to a theater and when there is a show going on you can not find a spot to park. I had to park 3 parking lots over and hoof it all the way back to the hotel.

My stay at your hotel was great. My customer I came to visit was less than a mile from your facility. The food was good, however, when I got my salmon, the bottom part of the salmon was left on the fish, and that part of the salmon was turned up, and was the first thing I saw. Also, the vegetable were under the salmon, as were my fries, which made them soggy, and have a fish taste to them. Other than my dinner, everything else went great.

Check in at 3, waited til 330. Slow staff. Same breakfast everyday, needs more variety. Chain makes millions, can afford to spice it up. No free dinner like other hiltons in the area. Could use a tap in the evening.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn (Oakbrook Terrace) on 11-11-16 and 11-12-16. The Hilton Garden Inn exceeded our expectations, the room was clean with a fresh scent, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Drury Lane Theater and close to shopping restaurants and night clubs with entertainment. I give the Hilton Garden Inn 5 STARS and encourage anyone looking for lodging in the Oakb... Read more

My fiancé (now husband) and I had reserved an 11-room wedding room block with an event manager at this location. I am usually not one to write bad reviews, but we had a very terrible experience with the hotel staff. On September 18, we had a guest who requested to book 5 rooms, but he was told that only 2 rooms were available under our room block. Therefore, I called the hotel reservation line myself, was put on hold and transferred numerous times before I was finally able to speak with a hotel... Read more

The staff could not have been more pleasant or accomodating. The convenience of an excellant Dinner Theater adjacent to the Hotel provided us with first-class entertainment, an incredible meal and a delightful evening. The hotel room spacious, comfortable and quiet allowing for restful sleep. The complimentary brunch provided everything from fresh fruit, to pastries, omlets to order, french toast, pancakes, muffins and more. I am definately planning a return visit and would highly recommend ... Read more

I must say from check in to check out, everything was excellent at this hotel. The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed. If I must say so myself, breakfast was truly the best part of my stay. The ladies who took care of the dining area were wonderful, very attentive and considerate both days. The gentleman making the omelettes on Sunday did his thing. The people in the room next to me on Saturday night were a little loud but not unbearable. All and all I would definitely stay aga... But the real jewel of this property was the superb staff. Each individual that we encountered made you feel like they were personally invested in assuring that we enjoyed our stay. Specifically, Kathryn at the Front desk was the abolsute best, she was knowledgeable, and super welcoming and immedialry made us feel like famil... Read more

The hotel was comfortable and reasonably priced. The rooms, however, appear worn and heavily used, so updating should be done to give everything a fresher appearance. The personnel were pleasant and made me feel welcome. Breakfast was offered but was not included with the price of the room.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for the Thanksgiving holiday and everything about this hotel was fantastic!! The rooms were clean, hot tub, pool and workout facility was great and the hotel staff was courteous, kind and overall awesome. One woman named Waja worked in the breakfast area and was one of the nicest and friendliest people I had met while in Chicago. She greeted us every morning with a smile and her assistance in anything we needed was second to none. She alone would make me ... Read more
