"Loved the 2 room suites with 37' and 32' TVs. What an amazing feature only seen in Embassy or higher end hotels.
Parking is free, but difficult but the hotel borders with 2 friendly businesses that permits overflow parking so no biggie.
Decent full hot breakfast like any other chain. The exercise room was surprisingly big, modern and spacious. Loved the Sauna.

"I have to commend the staff on an excellent service, above and beyond going out of their way to make sure our stay was more than satisfactory.
The hotel is conveniently located and very central to so many things in the Chicago area. It's just minutes to the CTA L line, minutes to the Metra, downtown just 20 minute drive, O'Hare 15 minutes, and so much more.

I would strongly recommend this hotel besides, you get a suite for what you would pay for a small room elsewhere. Love the breakfast, exercise room and 2 flat screens in the suite."

"The hotel was great for the price and was kept very clean . Everything seemed in place and the breakfast was good for the price. Parking is limited and the staff was rude and unhelpful to the point they said theynwill call and have me towed if I parked somewhere unmarked because I was unable to find an open space. The pool area is dark and needs updating. Location from downtown is convenient."

"My two kids ages 21 mo and 11 yo and myself stayed at the Comfort Suites In Oakbrook Terrace. The room was great for us, except the bathroom was small because the sink is not part of the bathroom. We had a room facing the busy road and there was road noise. I live in the city and we are used to it. If you are not, I suggest you ask for a room on the other side. The breakfast every morning was wonderful. We stayed for a week and never got bored with the breakfast selection. The staff were very nice, and the maid made my daughters pack n play bed when she cleaned the room. The biggest down side to this hotel is the front entrance is not made for any handicap. So when unloading the car and loading it on a cart we had to leave the cart on the sidewalk, then there is an incline before the double doors. Very fustrated. When leaving we just left the cart in the lobby and made several trips. The is a one way enough room for one car road around the hotel in the parking lot. So you have to park in a spot so you do not block the road. For a single mom this was a lot of work loading and unloading the car. My daughter has a feeding pump and needs more items then a normal child. So we had many bags. Other then that this was a great hotel for the price. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to visit chicago, but stay some where reasonable. My kids enjoyed the pool, there was an exercise room (no time for that), and I liked they have a washer and dryer on site just need quarters if you need to wash your clothes during your trip."

"I stayed here based on the good reviews. Too far for downtown. 45 min to 1hr on the 'L'. The 'L' is about 10 miles away and when you return there is no parking left on the lot. The staff is friendly and it is clean but sheets had rips and tears in them. Hotel is very warm and so are the rooms and I am use to temps over 100 degrees. The hotel has the air conditioning set at energy effecient. So the rooms were warm and stuffy. Also the walls are paper thin. The group next door partyed in their room until 4am everynight during our stay. Staff did nothing to stop it and we could hear every word said. The free breakfast is okay if you get there at 6:30 am otherwise nothing is left but waffle batter an hour later even regular coffee. I would not stay here again, very dissapointed."

"The value was really good. The breakfast did not look appetizing so we ate out, but its there if you want it, but it closes at 9, which I think is really early if you planned on sleeping in on a vacation. The rooms were fine, 2 flat screen t.v.s, which would we would have taken advantage of if we had kids, but a plus nonetheless. And they said the bathrooms were newly renovated. They were fine, but didnt look 'new'. Would stay here again."

"Our family has stayed at 4 hotels during this summer so far and I have to say a special thank you to the hotel. This hotel went out of it's way to help us getting deals, coupons, recommendations on what to do, area information, Chicago travel and transport advice and information saving us so much headache. I will certainly return to this hotel and because of this hotel stay at other Comfort Suites over other brands.
The staff being great, the hotel over all is good. Bit old on the outside but the inside is very well maintained, clean, fresh and well equipped and upgraded. It's a hidden treasure once you discover it. It has everything full service hotels offer except a restaurant, which is not even 25 feet away next door.
Remember to bring your swimwear and workout gear when you visit. Their breakfast is plentiful with fresh scrambled eggs, ham, flavored waffles, yogurt, and many yummy items. Loved the two rooms in our suite and the kids got to watch their own programs on their own 37 inch flat screen in the living room."

"Being International travelers and coming from Asia and middle east, we experienced many hotels with pay for Internet, pay for Parking, pay for breakfast, pay for any thing. This hotel price is all included. While it is not a 4 or 5 star resort in Mexico along the beach with all inclusive, you know what you pay at check in or while booking is the total charge.
The pool was decent. The children wore out. Breakfast was ample. We have one stomach and can only eat so much. I will say their eggs were fresh scrambled not frozen. There is a chef preparing eggs daily and we wanted to thank him"

"My children decided that wanted to swim and once we got down there things were quiet for all of 15 minutes until two other kids showed up with their grandparent that allowed them to do cannonballs and dive into the pool. They were screaming and such and trying to run and jump to touch the ceiling before diving into the pool. MAJOR DISRUPTION!!! I went to the front desk to complain after noticing that apparently the cameras that were down there were not being viewed of this mess. No one ever came down to resolve the issue. Then arriving back to our room there was a group of boys on a trip (20 of them) just in the hallway in boxers and using profanity and literally running up and down the hall the ENTIRE NIGHT and cursing and just in the hall and not in the actual rooms. The cable and television went out on 7/1 around 3 and was off up to check-out on 7/2 and was not expected on again until 3 that day. The manager gave us the "oh well approach... which at that point made for a very disappointing and rather dissatisfying time. This was a less than desirable trip for my daughters (8 and 12) first time to Chicago! I will not be staying here again as we frequent the Chicago area."

"I booked my hotel stay with a booking website for specific reasons. The main one being that I wanted to pay for the room right away and not after check-out. When we checked into our room the clerk had asked to hold my credit card number in case of 'incidentals', which was fine. She specifically said 'there is no charge to your card since you booked and paid already'. We were only there for one night and on the way home I checked my balance in my bank account. A $50.00 charge had been sent through from the hotel. I immediately called and questioned this charge. When I called I talked to a very curt, rude employee telling me that is their standard practice and with in a WEEK that $50 would be refunded back to me. I told her this was unacceptable and was not explained upon check in. She quickly began to yell at me about this being 'standard'. I asked for the name of her manager and said I would be calling back to speak to them and to ask for some compensation due to her rudeness. She yelled into the phone 'OH THAT'S NOT EVEN GOING TO HAPPEN'. I hung up. It really is too bad that this one girl has made such a bad review. The rest of the staff was great. One bad apple!"

"When werrived our toliet overflow and the tub had standing water in it so we were given another room and we had to move our stuff to the third floor then wifi did not work. Came back to hotel and the elevator did not work we had to wait since my husband can not climb to the 3rd fl finally my husband got it to work after 15 min. the food you had in the morning is not woth 12.95 by anybody's standard , we had to wait for eggs and sausage, the waffle machine was not working I could go on but this was a the was hotel I have ever stayed in!"

"We were with our family at the property. Loved everything about it except the pool was closed for work but opened right after we left. The suites are clean with 3 beds including the sleeper sofa. Not many hotels have two flat screen TV's in their suites and larger than the standard 32 inches. There is a door between the bedroom and living area of the suite. Loved the larger fridge, freezer, microwave as it comes very handy when traveling with kids. I would return"

"Loved the full hot breakfast and for free! The indoor pool was out of service for maintenance for a week or two, but everything else in the hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Although 17 miles to Chicago downtown, it is only minutes to the Metra rail and the Chicago CTA L train lines which take you directly to the Chicago business district, shopping and downtown Loop. The drive was very easy. Barely took us 20 minutes off peak straight drive from the hotel directly to downtown. Did not even have any turns. The road from the hotel led directly to the highway and to downtown. My new favorite hotel"

"This was a horrific experience. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were assigned a room that reaked of a scented air freshener. I would have truly vomitted if I had spent the night in the room. One of the good things about the hotel is that the hotel clerk moved us to a different room upon our complaint, The second room did not have the same smell. Additional problems were that the swimming pool was shut down for maintentenance and the weights in the fitness room were broken. Except for the change in accomodations by the night clerk, there are no positives to offer regarding this hotel."

"Upon regristering the attendent was unwilling to help with anything. Also, we specifically ask for a hotel which had an indoor pool but to our disappointment the pool was not working. VERY RUDE VERY DISAPPOINTED VERY UNPROFESSIONAL . We did like the room 2 queen beds and living room with 2 flat screen TVs. One other note, our 9 year old started to scream from shower only to found a bug climbing on wall in bathroom. Glad to leave. Remember you get what you pay for. Never again."
