It was OK hotel. There was a issue with the smell on our floor but the room smelled OK. The breakfast was below what I thought it should be ...the gravy had a interesting color. Hotel not far from theater and good eats so that helped.

We've stayed at this location many time, it's always been great. This time, the room was clean but one of the main reasons we pay the extra is to get the breakfast before our tip back. This time many items were not at the breakfast bar, waffles, sausage, sugar cereal, and half & half for the coffee.

It was a nice place and the staff was friendly. There was no ice machine on the second floor, had to go downstairs. The pool hours end too early. The air conditioner didnā??t work very well, there were stains on the comforter and sheets.

I had Reserved on March 19th for 3 Nights for May 27th with a party of 5. I made sure it was for Non-Smoking 2 Queen Beds and 1 Pullout Bed. I called property immediately to confirm the Reservation for a Party of 5 with a Pull Out Bed. Upon reaching, at 10:30 PM presented my ID and said I have reservation, the Night Clerk Jay said I don't have reservation. Then said, I don't have any rooms. Called Hotels.com for re-booking, they called the property. The Night Clerk changed his tune. He said you... Read more

My family really enjoyed staying here, the breakfast was delicious and the pool was always ready for us to get it ( we are a big family and having the pool just for us was excellent :) We also liked that it was very close to the highway and close to the family we came to visit.

The property is freshly painted and appears nice. The beds are average but the pillows are awful, they feel and look like they are stuffed with pieces of loose foam rubber. The breakfast is ok. We enjoyed the yogurt and cereal. The coffee was poor quality and was not hot from the thermos jars...overall is was affordable, that is what I liked the best : )

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Nice showers. Quirky location; easy to drive by even though you see it as you exit I-88. Swimming pool is small and closes early. We went elsewhere for breakfast, as the breakfast room is not large, and we got there right as a tour bus population descended for breakfast.

We stayed 5 days over the 4th of July. Property was clean. Breakfast was horrible. Very little variety. Not much room. Pool had no chairs or place to sit. Water was too cold to swim in. Fortunately we only spent time there to sleep and shower, so it was worth the money.

The hotel was centrally located and made access to multiple locations easy. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Hotel staff was never available at front desk so you had to call and wait 5 minutes for them to arrive. This was true at all hours, not just late night. Breakfast was very minimal and not good. if you are staying here for the breakfast, don't. But I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean place to sleep.

Stayed here for a couple of days in April. Room was fine, everything worked well in it. Despite behind near highway, I had no noise issues and slept fine. TV had a lot of channels, which was good. Price was fair. Outside, can walk to a couple fast food places, and a Thortons convenience store. Also across the road can walk by the Fox River, which is nice and relaxing. There was long black hair everywhere. A piece in the tub, on the wall, on the bathroom floor, on the sink, in the pool. When check out is at noon and check in is 3pm it is not enough time for a room to be clean enough for another person to stay/sleep there. There was a broken lamp in the room. But when we got to the room, there were no sheets for the hide a bed, so we had to go down and get them (no one could bring them up for us. We actually stayed here twice, July 14 and then again July 17. Here we were all excited about purchasing our house the next day. We got in late after driving all day, we were hungry and we had our dog. Baymont Inn & Suites is one of few hotels that doesn't have absurd non-refundable pet fee, $25. We were very disappointed however that the pool closed at 8 o'clock we are used to be able to go out and do what we want to do and then come back and enjoy the pool and relax but with the closing at 8 o'clock that didn't really give us this time. Keep in mind that this hotel does not have a full continental breakfast either but it did have hard boiled eggs waffles toast Bagels yogurt and cereal. The employees were very friendly, the room itself was nice and clean. The breakfast didnt have the best variety, but it had a waffle-maker which is all I care about. Unfortunately, the common areas, hallways, and elevator were terribly smoky. I left there with a sinus infection for sure. I gave 'cleanliness' a poor rating purely because of how smoky the whole place was.
