Second stay at this property, overall a good stay, had some problems with the internet and the television freezing. Could improve breakfast selections as well - bagels and donuts, a couple of more cereal selections, flavored coffee cream are offered at most competitors.

Stayed here with my son for a couple nights and it was a nice place. It's really quiet. They do have a pool but we didn't use it. I would recommend this place. Close to several eating establishments and I would highly recommend the trucks drop across the street which is called R- restaurant It's not your typical truckstop restaurant. You have to see it to believe it

The beds were horrible, the mattresses were worn out sinking in the middle. I had to sleep in a chair. Breakfast wasn't the best either .

Checked into room 117, A/C didn't work. Front desk moved me to room 121. Key didn't work. Clerk got another key that worked. Went to desk in the room and the phone didn't work. I asked the clerk if the rooms were checked or inspected for serviceability. She told me they could not get good help because no one will clean rooms for $3.00 per hour. I told that surely isn't the guests' problem. She said they are working on it. This place needs help!!!!!!!

This Days Inn was much better than the one we stayed at last week in Leavenworth, KS. They had hot water here and the bed was a better fit for us as well. I will definitely stay here again when visiting family.

Stayed in near Chicago for a dance competition. The hotel was next to an adult book and video store. Our window had duck tape on it! The mattress was rock hard and the comforter looked like it was from the 1980's. The breakfast consisted of a couple of yogurts, make it yourself waffle and cereal. The only fruit were a couple of apples.

I stayed here for 3 nights while in town for a local dog competition as I have stayed here in the past. They are always accommodating to my needs for a room on the first floor near the exit since I am traveling with my dog. My room was large and the bathroom had a nice large countertop for toiletries which is a big plus to me. The room and bathroom were clean although the furnishings were a little worn as were the towels.....it could use a little freshening/sprucing up. There was breakfast avail... Read more

I just stayed at the Days Inn in Morris and have stayed there in the past, and would stay there again. There is nothing special about this hotel, but it is clean and the staff are friendly. The location is also good and there are plenty of restaurants very close by. For the price it would be hard to beat in the area.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past. Returned to this hotel because I can count on a clean room & friendly staff. This trip reminded me of how centrally located it is for shopping because I had forgotten a number of items. Breakfast is good & always plenty of it... I had a problem with the TV in the room & it was promptly taken care of by the staff. I would definitely recommend staying here...

First of all I booked this reservation like 2 months in advance and requested the first floor because we have kids and it'd just be easier coming and going. We were told at check-in they weren't able to give us a first floor room because of renovations...which I never saw anything that looked like renovations were happening. Our first room was on the second floor which reeked of cigarette smoke...the whole floor. The room was absolutely disgusting. There was a big wad of chewing gum on the hea... Read more

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Good value for the money. Rooms were clean and spacious. Right next door to an Ihop and easy on/off access to I 80. Obviously no scenic views. :-) Only complaint would be there was no bench to sit on outside if you didn't want to be in the lobby or in your room. Would stay there again if the need arose.

Booked through Expedia for 3 nights. Hotel contacted me the day before arrival to tell me that the room was not available, but they could provide me with a lower level room for the same amount. Spent 2 hours on the phone with the hotel and Expedia. The person from the hotel on the phone promised she would be there when I arrived and that all would be good. She was not there, that day or the next. Upon arrival, was shown room but burned out light bulbs, damaged lamp shades I could live with. Toi... Read more

We enjoyed our two nights. Place was clean and quiet for being mostly full Would advise staff to do a bit of work on places to eat. A list with addresses or a desk book with menu's would help. We did get help finding two good dinner sites. The breakfast in house was a little light for people about to spend the day working dogs until mid afternoon.

I received pretty much what I expected. We were given a decent, no frills, King room. Everything was plain and simple, but adequate. The price was excellent compared to other hotels in Morris. The hotel reception staff was efficient, but no personality...no welcoming greeting...just business and then the clerk recluse do again. I give him a 1 out of a 5. However, the check-in was quick and correct---no problems...no mistakes. Just no personality.

We booked here because the Super 8 nearby was full. The Days Inn is a smoking motel, and the hallway smelled of smoke, although our room did not. if is a darkly lit motel. Dingy looking rooms, but clean. The A/C unit blew very smelly air. Fortunately, we could open the window instead. The coffee was cold. Nex time, we will go elsewhere.

This was the first time we took a long road trip with the family. It was my wife, my mom, my three kids (age 10, 8, 2), and myself. We made it to the hotel on Friday 9/16/16 after a 10 hour trip. We were coming up for the NASCAR race and went to the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. When we got there checking in was easy. We got to our room and there were 3 towels in the bathroom so we went down to the desk to ask for more. We were told just to reuse the ones we have. We said there are 6 of us and on... Read more

Nothing spectacular. Unenthused person at check in, no responsive person at checkout. Room needed a refresh. A remote with no writing on it, limited outlets and 2 Bath Towels in a King Room. No clock I'm my room I had to ask to get one from another room. Breakfast was non existent. Stale bread and old cereal. The coffee was good. Disappointing performance. Not sure if I will consider a Days Inn in the future,

Stayed here for my daughters wedding. Upon arriving I was given the incorrect room that I reserved 2 months earlier. Then when I finally was given the correct room after going back to front desk to tell them this was not the correct roomi I I had to remove my luggage again to the correct room. Once in the correct room there were spots of food or something on the walls, the bathroom toilet was not mounted tight to the floor and stains from where it should be were very visible on the tile floor. The hotel's website advertises that it has a hot tub and pool. There is no hot tub. The desk clerk said that the hot tub had broken, so they covered it over. But he claimed that all the rooms had Jacuzzi tubs. This is not true. The hotel looks totally rundown on the outside. The lobby is cheaply furnished and filthy. This was the most run down hotel I've ever stayed in. The first room they gave me the bed wasnt made. We all slept fully clothed to head to toe. Pillows looked like hundred years old, razor thin. Sheets looked nasty and old. The towels looked like rags I wash my car with. Toliet seat was broken.
