Hotel is old, but clean. I did make good use of the lap pool and workout facilities since there was literally no where to run outside except the giant mall parking lot. My disappointment is mainly with the restaurant downstairs. There are zero options for a Vegan. Other eating establishments are within walking distance to the mall, but who wants to eat at the mall? The hotel also catered the conference breakfast and lunch. Again, zero Vegan options. I know, I know...don't cry about something so ... Read more

We stay here quite often, as we used to live in Lombard. So when visiting family and friends The Westin is our first choice. It is centrally located in DuPage County, close to major thoroughfares and highways with easy access. We have found the Westin to be clean spacious rooms. Steps away from Yorktown shopping center with lots of choices of restaurants as well. Rooms are clean and modern and staff is friendly.

We recently stayed at the Yorktown Westin for a charity event. The hotel was hosting a wedding, and unfortunately we were placed on a floor that housed a block of guests from the wedding. When the wedding ended the reception seemed to move to our floor, and although we called down to guest relations about the noise it continued until 3:45 in the morning. When we talked to the front desk about the noise the next morning we were made to feel like it was our responsibility to keep calling until th... Read more

Workout/pool/sauna... Fabulous.... Towels, earphones, easily accessible..close to a movie theater, could have walked... Same with the mall. Amazing close restauants... Will ALWAYS stay here when in the area !! Easy drive into downtown Chicago

First, the good. The staff is very nice. They are helpful and friendly. The hotel is modern and clean. It looks great. The room we stayed in on the club floor was a good size and we never felt cramped. It is walking distance to a mall, movie theater, and Target. Some issues we had were with the quality of the club lounge. I would not again pay extra to stay on this floor. The breakfast was awful. The selection was worse than most 2 star hotel Continental breakfasts. A small offering of grains,... Read more

We booked the Westin Lombard through Priceline and got a great price for June. The hotel location is in the Yorktown mall, right on Butterfield road and very close to the I-88 tollway. However, the room was very quiet and not affected by the traffic outside. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were very nice and the temperature inside the room perfect. The furniture was a bit on the aged side, but they were in good condition. Interestingly enough, the bathroom does not have a tub any... Read more

A group of 12 of us stayed at the Westin Lombard for a 3-day Chicago weekend. The hotels downtown were pricey & booked because of several events over the weekend so we chose Lombard. Having formerly lived in the Chicago suburbs, we had watched this very large hotel being built several years ago, but had never stayed there. We went back to Chicagoland in June for our 35th wedding anniversary trip, and decided to stay at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center for three nights. Yorktown is a beautiful shopping mall with great stores and restaurants, having been completely remodeled a few years ago. Have stayed at this hotel many times, as I was on a project in the Oak Brook area for over a year. I recently stayed there for leisure, as it is my preferred hotel when not staying downtown. The Westin Heavenly Bed and Bath is EXACTLY what it says. The beds are the most comfortable - definitely help you get a great night's sleep. Overall we were impressed with our suite at the Westin in Lombard. We paid extra for the suite for the sunken tub and it was. Definitely the beds and sheets are up to Westin standards. Where we felt lacking was that we made explicit note that we were traveling with a service dog, this wasn't a hassle with the check in, but we didn't get the bag of dog treats or the dog food and water bowls. A group of six of us stayed here in July 2016. We had some concerns that it was not very close to the city. We used the shuttle service to go into Chicago and the driver John made it so very easy and fun. He explained what trains to get on and he got us there in plenty of time. He met us at the station again as we came back. He drove us to the restaurants for dinner and made our trip very enjoyable.
