We had a very nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kankakee. The front desk staff couldn't be more pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and homey, and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I like staying at Hilton hotels and the one in Kankakee is very nice. My only complaint has to do with their sheets. I had made the exact same review three years ago. The sheets are thin and not of good quality. They responded in TripAdvisor to my comment that they had removed all the thin sheets. Apparently NOT. That is my only complaint. Otherwise it's a nice and clean hotel with very helpful staff. I do like staying there. But get new sheets!

Three things I feed on, good night sleep, good food, good people (staff) this hotel had all of that. You feel welcomed the minute you walked in the door, and the Internet service they provide was very good, clean hotel rooms very comfortable I highly recommend this definitely get your moneys worth.

The weather was perfect for the wedding, and the accommodations were wonderful. I heard no complaints from any of our wedding guests. The rooms were great. Cleaning staff was perfect, very efficient. Breakfast was phenomenal... Definitely would stay here again and recommended.

We stayed for a wedding. The price was high as I'm use to obtaining pretty cheap rooms from travel websites, but the location was great (reception at Kankakee fairgrounds) and I enjoyed being with the other ppl at the hotel. The breakfast was amazing, but the $10.95 I thought was a little high since you have the same style at Embassy Suites included in your price. Otherwise great stay overall.

Hotel and Staff was always professional and truly cared if you were provided with everything needed in your stay. Length of project in this area gave me a choice of Apartment or Numerous Hotels in the area. I've traveled this area for eight years and will always stay at this location.

The lobby, room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and welcoming. The bar and restaurant looked inviting. The exercise room looked clean. I'm sorry I didn't bring my swimming suit because the pool was calling my name. I would come back.

Spent three nights at this hotel recently. Not our first stay here, we stayed here a couple of years ago while visiting family in the area. The lobby area is warm and inviting with areas for families or couples to sit and enjoy a drink or conversation from the bar. Restaurant is very good in evening. Took my grandson to a football clinic at Olivet and we were super pleased with our room. Also, we were welcomed with a smiling face and gracious hostess. She answered all of our questions about getting to the university, finding restaurants, and locating a better route home.

Nice rooms, pool and hot tub, restaurant good and prices are great. Informal dinning with room for small and large groups. Hotel is close to everything in the area to see and do. Everyone on the staff went out of their way to make you feel at home.

We reserved a block of rooms for our traveling family to attend our daughter's wedding. The rooms were very nice, modern, and clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious offering many selections. The pool room and gym were outstanding. The WIFI worked very well. Walmart is within walking distance conveniently located next to the hotel. All the staff from housekeeping to management were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel highly to travelers.

Hilton Gardens was an excellent choice!!! From the lobby to the staff and the room everything was great!!! We stayed here because of the location...close to my granddaughter's softball games...we only live 15 miles away but just wanted a little get away and be close to her. Great experience!!!

My daughter held her wedding at this hotel. They provided all of guest with the utmost care, and hospitality. They checked all 200 guests with quickly, and made all guest feel most comfortable. Front desk staff were.warm.and.friendly. I look foward to having future events here.

Maintenance was subpar and amenities were not what one would expect at a Hilton. Paper cups instead of coffee mugs and glasses. No bottled water offered. Towels were not soft and there were only when usually there are four.

I was very disappointed with the housekeeping at the hotel. I had a roll away bed brought into the room for my son. I notified Kyle on the front desk, that my son has a bedwetting problem. I brought pads to protect the mattress but inquired as to how housekeeping wanted me to handle the soiled linens. This hotel is one of the nicest I have stayed in at this price point. The rooms were very clean and welcoming. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in during a hotel stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again if traveling through the area.

The Garden Inns are predictable like most of the chain hotels but the staff can make the difference, If they are not friendly or don't make maintenance or cleaning a priority it leaves a negative feeling, not just for that particular hotel, but for the brand as well. I stay here several times a year for business. Great staff, food and clean rooms. The hotel is 30 minutes from the train to commute to downtown Chicago, which is nice to avoid all the traffic. If you don't want to eat at the outstanding on site restaurant, there are several choices within a 15 minute drive.

Enjoyed our stay over all. We were grateful ALL our guest were welcomed to continue the party in the hotel lobby/cafe after the wedding in the ball room. We were even told not to worry about picking up our small mess, that they would take care of that for us. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR A WEDDING with enough rooms to house all your family and guest.

Clean and fresh. Great coffee service in the lobby. Too many times the "free" coffee is weak and tasteless but this was very good and needed early in the morning. If you're in the area stay here versus the Fairfield Inn. I travel regularly and this was a very satisfying experience.

The hotel was decent for the amount of time we stayed. But I was disappointed in the care of the rooms. The mattress was terrible. And the walls had smears (uncertain what it was)! I was not satisfied with the cleanliness. Rooms are big. Bathroom is outdated and the towel racks were rusted!!!!

We were there for a wedding. The beds were so hard. It was the worst bed I have ever slept in. The service during the reception was awful. We were never even asked if we would like water or soda with our meal. There was one carafe of water on the table for 10 people.

We was in town for a baseball tournament and the staff was wonderful to us. We had several families with us and everyone agreed it was a top notch hotel/staff. The last night we stayed there everyone ate at the restaurant. Omg!! Best chicken flatbread sandwich ever!! Everyone commented on how good the food was.

Booked a room and stayed after our granddaughters wedding reception. From the time we checked in until we left the next morning the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was great. Very friendly employees. Excellent breakfast, but there is a charge for it. So worth it. Love that they support police officers and great to see them coming in frequently for breakfast. Love the free fruit water available in the lobby. Nice outdoor seating areas.

Judging from the parking lot, this hotel was full or close to full every night we stayed here. With how quiet it was, I'd have had no idea anyone was staying here! Staff was very friendly and hospitable - front desk, restaurant staff and housekeeping staff. Room (junior suite) had ample room, was nicely furnished and clean. I would recommend!

Notification of the leaking shower into the bedroom, soaking wet carpet next to the king bed, lead to an excuse from the staff that maintenance recently re-caulked the shower to potentially fix the problem. From the minute you walk into the lobby to our exit at the breakfast, all wonderful. The staff was very helpful, great location for the wedding venue Kankakee Majestic. Right off the toll road, easy access and if you forgot anything the Walmart and Dollar Store are steps away.

I was looking to stay in Kankakee for a night and found that the Hilton Garden Inn was really the only choice. But the rate was reasonable, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms and amenities were really good. Sorry it didn't have an outdoor pool - but I drove into town - and it's a really nice town so I didn't miss the pool too much.

A warm welcome and great service greet us each time we visit. I like to check in on the app and select my room. Breakfast is well worth the price with a wide selection of well prepared hot items. The steak at dinner is not to be missed....yum! Oatmeal raisin squares greet us in the lobby each evening. The pool area is always clean and stocked with fresh towels. Very clean room for the price. Hit this hotel late a night. Desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Great place to stop on I-57. Hotel very clean and attractive. Clerk at Checkin courteous and friendly. Lobby very nice and clean, and room and bed comfortable. After having a bad experience at a different hotel, we decided to change to the Hilton Garden Inn for this visit due to previous recomendation of a family member and are we glad we did! Had to book an extra nigh due to check in time being 3pm the day of our daughters wedding also pre booked 2 other rooms and prepaid for all of them. Kyle was friendly and helpful but the ladies the next morning were snide and rude!! There is only 1 luggage cart for the whole hotel and they will not offer assistance.

The price was Hilton but the service was motel6. The staff walked in on my wife who was in the bathroom with door closed. The desk clerk and manager were insensitive to the prices and told us that the reason this prop did not have electronic locks is because the locks cost too much!

Hotel lobby and bar/restaurant was dirty with food on furniture and and carpet. This was long after lunch service was over but before dinner. The room window had very large cracks in it. The bathroom door would not open. There was food on the floor under furniture in the room. The furniture in the lobby and the rooms is dirty, old and tired.

An outstanding choice for a place to stay. I had the pleasure of getting to know the staff for a 2 month stay. I would definitely go back if I get the chance. A 5 star staff and hotel. Walmart next door and a on site restaurant. The breakfast was always outstanding.

This is definitely a great hotel, but it could use a bit of upgrading. It appearance was a bit dated and it could use a deep cleaning. The breakfast is AMAZING and very reasonably priced!! The staff was kind and friendly and I would absolutely consider this hotel for future trips!

this was a convenient location and also was reccommended by someone with loyalty program status. They ate breakfast of course, free for them, but $10 too much for me to pay for breakfast because I don't eat that much. We did ask for extra chairs for our suite and chairs were brought in immediately. The refrigarator was nice and cold and we did use the microwave to heat our coffee.

Our stay was excellent, they accommodated our late arrival with zero issues but upon checking in the front desk recommended that we join in on the continental breakfast which we thought was free but it was not, cost is close to $10.95 per person. Staff was excellent, room carpet at end of life. Room smelled a bit stale, tub towel rack was rusty. All else in the room was in great condition, so the bedding, pillows and all other aspects were excellent. Just get new tubs with flatter bottoms, new towel racks and new carpet!

I understand your company would prefer your guests to hang out in the lobby area to mingle with their friends instead of running up and down the halls. I personally would not want my guests to see the type of party when walking into my lobby. I would suggest these guests that are there to party to rent one of your private rooms for such a thing. Attended my boyfriend's son wedding at the Hilton. My boyfriend left his brand name prescription eyeglasses on the desk in our room along with a container of shoe polish. No hot water during first shower. Shower eventually got hot second shower. Pillows were atrocious! They flatten quickly! You can pile several and still be flat. Overall though, out stay was pleasant..

Overall a good property and looks like what you would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. It was a very good value. 15 minutes to ONU. The only problem that holds this back from being a great deal is the mold smell and bad ventilation on Lobby level. They have a problem and it has not been dealt with.

Clean hotel and decent room. I had the breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was good. They have 2 treadmills, one elipitcal, 1 recumbent bike and weights in the fitness room. The pool and hot tub was clean. Conveniently located off the interstate and the area appeared safe. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Each and every time I stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kankakee, Il is a great experience. During my last stay, I could not get the internet to work in my room and the desk clerk, Kyle, came to my room and got it to work and some of the problem was in my laptop and he worked though the issue and until I was online. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My overall experience was a good experience. My concerns were with the level of noise. The rooms pick up all of the hallway noises, including conversations with the housekeeping staff. In addition, my room was very noisy between the heat vents and the sound of water running all night. Very plush, clean and friendly hotel. Room service for dinner was fast with hot food. Front desk and restaurant staff very friendly and polite. Hotel was easily accessible from highway with plenty of parking.

The best thing about my stay was the ability to choose my room the day before online. I believe this is available to all Hilton Honors members. I wanted a room on the top floor at the end of the hall and was able to choose that option. The hotel is very conveniently located just off of I-57. Check in was quick and efficient. People were so. Ice service and amenities great rooms were not clean!!!!!! The housekeeping was way below what we expected but the front desk and the restaurant staff could not have been nicer or more helpful it sucks to write this because the people were so nice

The price is fair for this area and hotel. The staff were great and the rooms were clean. We did have issues with our heating in our room and the internet is very slow. Otherwise good place to stay while traveling.

We were here for a wedding and were able to get into our rooms before the check in time. The rooms were in great shape and it was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area. We skipped the breakfast because it wasn't complimentary, but went down the road to Carlos Family Restaurant on our way out and it was very good and VERY FRIENDLY!
