Rosemary in the concierge lounge is delightful. She pays particular attention to detail and keeps things neat and tidy. She is very pleasant and makes it a relaxing experience. The hotel is quite nice. I am usually critical of places that looked dated, but it is so clean that it really doesn't bother me. We are Platinum Premiere with over 200 nights out so being pleasantly surprised and an appreciation for our stay is most welcome and will be remembered.

This hotel has become my second home as I work on site on a project nearby. It is most certainly not a destination hotel. There is not much in Hoffman Estates to entice or offer a holiday maker; there are a number of corporate offices nearby who make use of the hotel. Therefore the hotel is very much orientated towards the business traveller, and as business traveller, I can assure you that fulfils this mission perfectly. The rooms are spacious, with renovated bathrooms and supremely comfort... Read more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights to attend a busy agenda and I felt the experience was very good. Staff was perfect very kind and quick. I haven't tried breakfast but got a very nice burger at the restaurant. The room was neat and everything worked very well. Would stay again for sure if come back to the region.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 other times. I feel as if something has changed around there. We had to make multiple request to get a pack n play to our room and when it arrived, well after bedtime it had defective rails. It came with no sheet whatsoever. Gross. We were also traveling with extended family and were renting out a banquet room for a party the next night. This was planned over 6 months in advance. We had a block of rooms reserved and certain ones needed to be adjoining due to young... Read more

The room was a standard, no frills room. The pros were the front desk staff were very friendly and the room was clean. The cons were there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room and the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel was very underwhelming.

Hotel has always had beautiful rooms and facilities. People have always been very amenable and Service Conscious. They Finally fixed their TV Interface so that you can plug in and watch something other than their Analog Channels on a HDTV. The only thing that would be nice is a Lobby Coffee service similar to what is available in other Marriott Properties.

A large elegant and luxurious hotel. The room is spacious and clean and the bathroom is modern and quite large. Sleep quality was very good. The atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. This hotel is one of my top choices when traveling in the area. The restaurant is large and the food is delicious. Highly Recommended

Stayed for one night with my daughter. Room 729 had definitely been renovated and was clean, nice and modern. As for the renovation, it was a bad choice to go with that glass door for the bathroom. First, it doesn't seal around the door (several issues come to mind on that). 2nd, we are the type that leaves the bathroom light on as a night light so you can find your way in a strange place in the dark. We also leave the door open just a crack so as not to light up the whole room. Here, forg... Read more

The cleaning team does not do a good job, anyways the room is very good, good shower, good internet connection, great breakfast, the service on the bar is poor, they are sure short on staff, but the food average, I would come back, sure they can improve their services for the price they charge.

My family of 4 adults stayed here over a weekend. The first thing to greet you is a beautiful lobby with a variety of seating arrangements, along with a lovely fountain and skylights which brighten the area even when cloudy. Though the hotel was managing room blocks and shuttles for 4 different weddings, everything was run very efficiently. The friendly staff is outstanding, from the check-in desk associates, to the River City Restaurant servers, to the assistant manager of the hotel, as well... Read more

I was Wowed by the customer service at the hotel upon arrival. I was greeted as though I was family and even walked to the elevators since it was a little confusing. This was my first time is this area of Illinois, but will not be my last. The rooms were spacious and very clean. It was easy to relax and have a good night's sleep in this hotel that felt like home away from home.

I cannot express how much I love this hotel. I stay here this time yearly. In the beginning the staff, Ben, Iris, Mike (overnight),Kathy and Molly were very so wonderful and was able to expedite my guests that were staying here as well. We are talking about 16 rooms. After my event over the weekend, I wanted to stay an additional day to recoup and to relax wanting to enjoy the hotel amenities. I called front desk and asked if they were willing to accommodate a fair price instead of paying... Read more

Nice spot, decent rates - not the inflated downtown or O'Hare rates. Upgraded bathrooms are a great step up from the usual generic 90's Marriott desperately needing update look. Slightly disappointed that the concierge lounge was not staffed on a Tuesday night, i.e. no alcohol.

Came for US Cheerleading Finals, no complaints from us. Had a blast in both the lobby and the pool haha. This hotel is close to a variety of food places and right next to the venue. Would stay at again

We stayed at the hotel for this weekend. Arrived Friday afternoon. We were going to a concert in the area on Saturday evening. We had planned to have dinner in the hotel's dining room Friday evening as we were not in any rush. We checked out the menu on line and it looked good. We went down to the restaurant at 6 pm to find they were serving only a limited menu- mostly burgers and sandwiches. Nowhere did they tell anyone including online that they were only serving the limited menu. The restaura... Read more

Room was a little smaller than in the past which should be the normal room but in the past have been upgraded. New sliding doors on the bathrooms are heavy to move at times. Lounge was the highlight. Lisa took very good care of our table the entire week even during the very busy times. Katy was also very good the one night we interacted with her. Very friendly staff.

Hotel was nice, room was comfortable and staff were very helpful - always offering assistance. The food in the restaurant wasn't great when we ate there one night - one of our group ordered bread and butter pudding and it was served with custard that was curdled! I had a room which had free wifi which always worked well. I was located on floor 8 which had a lounge serving buffet breakfast items (the smoked salmon and scrambed eggs was lovely) and snacks during the day which was a nice tough.

Hotel is very nice. You can walk to shopping and dinner. They will match the best rate you find. You just have to go through a bunch of stuff to get the price. Hotel restaurant wasn't very good. But Ruth Chris around the corner was amazing!

We stayed here for a weekend wedding. The reception was also held at the hotel. Check in was very easy. The room was very nice and the entire hotel was very clean. The restaurant has a breakfast buffet with standard food but it was very good and plentiful. Sylvia was the hostess/waitress both days at breakfast and was wonderful. Very friendly and attentive. The only issue we had with the restaurant was trying to order for a late lunch. We met our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. Th... Read more

Stayed at this property for two nights for business meetings nearby. This is a nice property, but on the higher end of cost. Great location near many dining venues (Within walking distance). The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone I came across. Our team took over the bar area every night and it was a good thing the company was footing the bill. The drink prices are hugely overpriced. The rooms were clean and well appointed. It is what you'd expect from Marriott or even... Read more
