We were in town because a family member passed away. It was a hard trip and every day we were greeted with a smile (and even a hug) by Tina Sutherland, the Bistro Supervisor. It is rare to find good service these days, let alone kind and above and beyond caring service, but that is Tina and everyone she was around felt it. Her positivity was infectious and I know she made everyone happy around her, both the co-workers and the other guests.

Sorry I can't name one individual to highlight here because it is the "TEAM" that makes this Bistro in my opinion the best I have visited in the Marriott chain. I believe this "TEAM" actually enjoy their job and it shows.....well done to you all and the management group that obviously gets how to make training available and respect it's excellent employees. Thanks!

Earlier this year, I accidentally stumbled on this place after thinking the hotel was in a different location and when I pulled up, wasn't too excited. I've stayed at other hotels in the area and usually have driven right by this place, not giving it a second glance. I have now been there twice. But not only is the price right, the lobby is modern and inviting, and the rooms are modern and comfortable as well - the hotel looks like it's been renovated. But the thing that puts this hotel over t... Read more

I love this place, and I'm currently here for my second stay. In a property with so much going for it, the people who staff it are the crown jewel. The first time I arrived here, I expected a professional, hospitable greeting. I got that, but the warmth I received from Natasha and Tina at the front desk made me feel more like a treasured friend than simply a customer. During my stays here, I have received kindness and top-notch customer service at every turn from Rami, Lynn, Kamesh, and Tearanc... Read more

I was here with group of 8 people for business. Courtyard was able to get shuttle bus to take us to the company where we had to go. Not only that, but they were very flexible with time arrangements for shuttle send-offs and pick-ups, even I notice them at the last minute. They even brought us cell phones which one of my co-worker left in the Taxi on our way to Courtyard hotel. Courtyard has welcomed us with warm and friendly smile and I cannot thank more for their service. I would love to stay h... Read more

My wife and I thought the hotel was dark and dingy. We knew our carpets were dirty when I picked up my wife's white socks and saw how really dirty they were. The toilet / shower room was a challenge. It was small. Twice I accidentally banged the glass shower doors with my left elbow, once in the middle of the night. Needless to say, I woke my wife. Uh oh.

We recently stayed at this property for one night while in Evanston for our daughter's graduation. The hotel was pleasant surprise. Check-in and out was extremely efficient and the room was quiet, spacious and comfortable. The lobby area was very welcoming, with lots of seating and the outdoor space was wonderful. Additionally this may have been one of the cleanest hotels at this price point that we've ever stayed at. Our room was spotless!

Very well appointed, from the lovely linens, well lit bath and shower, really nice decorating, very useful and comfortable desk, there's even a loveseat for sitting when you don't want to use the bed. Staff are super friendly and efficient, very nice casual restaurant in the lobby area. Room is on the smaller side but absolute perfect for my one-night stay. I've been in hotels 4 of the last five nights and this on is the best! DEFINITELY recommend!

Great staff at a better than average courtyard. Excellent room, although the mattress could be firmer and house keeping be more with it. They never showed up one day! They to to have a please make up my room card to go with the do not disturb card. The front desk and restaurant staff does make up for the short comings. Excellent wifi but some rooms have trouble with cell phone connection.

I enjoyed my stay at Courtyard. Everything was very clean and comfortable. There is a nice outdoor pool. I really liked the balcony in the room. The room service and front desk employees were polite and professional. I enjoyed the free breakfast coupons we received along with our stay - the breakfast selection is wonderful and tasty. The location of Courtyard is also great, Dunkin Donuts right across the street along with two other shopping centers filled with restaurants. We Ubered to the city ... Read more

We had a fantastic stay for our business/Memorial Day visit. Lynn at the front desk facilitated our reservation and (as usual) referenced our profile to make sure our needs and preferences were met (foam pillows - allergic to feathers). Tina (also at the front desk) checked us in the evening we arrived and delightfully greeted us by name, with a smile and even had our key cards ready. My husband had questions about an upcoming business meeting that he may need a conference room. Peter and ... Read more

We just stayed here for 5 nights. Bad: The shower tubs are VERY slippery. Be careful! They have no traction on the bottom, and they did NOT give you a traction mat. My 9 year old daughter slipped and hit her head. I had to go to the front desk to request a mat. Also, there was no safe in the room. Good: Location is great. Easy access to major roads to get you to the North Suburbs. Dunkin Donuts is right across the street for easy breakfast. Another nice bonus was there is a famil... Read more

We stayed for 5 nights at the hotel and found the staff and the accommodations to be excellent. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and provided us with a shuttle to the Metra in order to get to downtown Chicago. There is a convenient cafe in the lobby for morning coffee or an evening snack and Happy Hourl The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the hotel is within walking distance of a good number of other restaurants as well.

The hotel is a good value for the Chicago area with a convenient access to i294 and O'Hara airport. The place is quit, the staff is friendly, beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. The food in the Bistro is fresh and prepared well. It is not a fancy place but serves its purpose well.

Have stayed here three nights this summer for business meetings in the hotel's conference facilities. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Cooked to order breakfast in the lobby is convenient, fast, economical, and of excellent quality. Staff is very accommodating for business travelers (making copies, receiving faxes, etc.). Decent restaurant across the parking lot spares the necessity of driving somewhere if time is at a premium.

Lynn at Front Desk helped immensely with room/suite reservations/check in/out. We had two different reservations, after attending funeral in Michigan - Lynn was able to combine reservations, so that we had lovely suite for our entire stay at an attractive rate. Tina in The Bistro helped with takeout lunch for plane trip back to SFO.

Excellent customer Service. I would like to commend three Employees in particular. Having been in customer service for 30 years I appreciate when I get exceptional service. Lynn Cutler displayed amazing service recovery when I had issues with the air conditioning and a missed wake up call. She adjusted my rate and gave me a late checkout. Lynn made my life a lot easier as I was not being picked up until 530pm. Phyllis at the front desk was extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful in hand... Read more

Arrived late Sunday night to move our daughter into an apartment Monday. Facility and room was clean and modernized. Staff were very courteous and helpful. We were able to get a good night's rest before tackling moving our daughter into her apartment. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

This hotel provided a pleasant stay. I was one of a group of 13 traveling in a minivan and they handled our check-in very efficiently. Both the public areas and the room were spotless. I appreciated the availability of Starbucks coffee. I ate only breakfast in the hotel; the menu was not extensive but did offer both pastries and hot food. They also have a small necessities/snack shop. The staff were polite and helpful. Really, no complaints.

The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our hotel room, a King Suite, was impeccably clean, very comfortable, and perfectly appointed. Wifi was free and fast with plenty of outlets for our laptops and cell phones. The single problem we experienced was being woken up by some very rude guests who decided to run up and down the hallway laughing and making noise at 1:30 a.m. Aside from that, we slept like a couple of babies, bed was super comfy. Shopping and a large selection of restau... Read more

Stayed 4 nights for business when the hotels near my office to be visited were full due to a convention, but it worked out well. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. A/C in room was easily manageable (some hotels are near impossible to get comfortable). Indoor pool and fitness center were in good shape. Internet worked well. Bistro was handy for quick meals, and there are a couple of restaurants that you can walk to. Access in and out was easy. That pretty much... Read more

As we have a new grandson, we come out each month, since March, to see him and have stayed at the Courtyard/Glenview each time. Notwithstanding the rather complacent attitude of the people that handle the reservations, this hotel is run quite well, and whenever there is a matter that requires attention, the staff is very responsive. This weekend, after a long day of travels, we arrived at the hotel around 9pm and, without going into detail, things did not go as smoothly as usual. That is when ... Read more

Summer & fall stayed several weekends here. More sensible building design than many Courtyards: elevators conveniently placed in the middle of hallways, instead of stuck in one corner of structure (many Courtyards have this annoying feature which can maximize how far you have to trek with luggage). There are some helpful handicap spaces near side elevator entrances; these can fill, so hotel could do with more. Turn on your TV as soon as you get to room. The satellite connection always sl...
