Our room were extremely clean. Nice decor. Front desk staff was very, very helpful. Very nice pool area, although at 8:00 pm there were no towels left. Staff came to take the dirty ones and for the hour I was there, did not return with clean towels. The huge problem was the noise (not really the fault of the hotel but want to mention it). Right across the hall from us were young people drinking and screaming through the night. I must have been woken up at least 4 times. I probably wouldn't ... Read more

I really hate it when I was given a lower level room. Among all other hotels that I've stayed in, this is the only hotel that gave me the first level room. What was worse, my room was facing the gym and there was no way I could have my curtain opened and felt safe. I also had NO sun coming through the window in the morning which I really hate it. The marble table in the room seemed like never been wiped. There was sticky food on the table which was yucky and you could see it under the light. The... Read more

About what you'd expect from this level hotel. Older property; housekeeping fine. Nice lobby - but I didn't access the restaurant. Easy access from Route 355 to Glen Ellyn or Wheaton. Price changed dramatically from Sunday to Wednesday.

Just took the grandkids for the pool. This is a very nice pool area, not one of those tiny pools no one fits in. 3 feet to 9 feet. plenty of towels available, only thing missing is a hot tub. Good variety of exercise equipment.

My sister and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for six nights while I was attending a class and she was visiting Chicago. First, the staff was outstanding. Kathy, our driver, was so accommodating, and all the staff made extra efforts to assist my sister when she had medical difficulties. Little things matter. Like being loaned plates from the restaurant to microwave your leftover dinner. Like having good exercise equipment. Like having maps of running routes in the area. Like having wait staf... Read more

Friendly staff, very helpful, however be aware I have stayed at countless hotels as a result of my job (including 15 or 20 in the area) and this is not a 3 1/2 star hotel. We checked out prematurely as a result. The hotel did give us a refund.

Very nicely remodeled rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Dee. There were a couple issues ( electrical outlets attached to bed lamp did not work. Also, both treadmills need belt tightening. The slipping belts can be very dangerous) Staff was advised of issues, seemed genuinely concerned and said they would get it fixed. I'm sure they will. Would recommend.

the hotel is ok. the room are in te range of expectation for a Crowne plaza. Moreover they do have a nice and large swimming pool, opened at 7am, and a small fitness center. personnal was nice and i had a diner in the hotel restaurant that was also ok. we used a couple of hours a meeting room on the next morning.

It does tell the Crowne Plaza's typical modern exterior and lobby area, but the hallway and rooms reflect it is a lower class property under IHG chain. I booked 2 rooms and both looked old and worn out. Compare to Crowne Plaza in Asia, this one is definitely so disappointing :(

My daughter and I stayed here Tuesday July 19th. I booked this over the Marriott because they had two queen size beds available (for $ 60 more a night ) and my daughter was taking a test nearby and I wanted her to get a good nights sleep with her own bed. When we arrived we were told there was a "mix up" and all the two queen bed rooms were already gone and they only had a king with a sofa bed available. Although not happy, we didn't have a choice as it was 9:30 at night. They did say they ... Read more

Stayed two nights for business. The room's were modern updated and comfortable. I ate at their restaurant and everyone was helpful and friendly. The food was very good I was glad I decided to stay in for dinner. The exterior of the hotel is aging but the interior was upscale. I was impressed for the price I paid. I booked through Hotwire.

My entire family stayed at the hotel for a wedding. The entire experience was terrible. First of all, the rooms were not ready after family including my very elderly grandmother flew overnight. Until we became angry and threatened to write an ugly review, did the manager act and make rooms appear. Second, I checked into my aunt's room with my credit card for incidentals. I asked multiple times that they not charge my debit card the total for the room. Low and behold, I was charged for BOTH rooms... Read more

This poorly remodeled Holiday Inn is a wannabe hotel. It is purgatory on the way to the gates of hell. Do not be fooled by the entirely photoshopped website. Bubbling wallpaper nearly falling off the bathroom walls, musty and damp air conditioning, refurbished desk/ diy paint job, this pull out couch has a metal spring right in the middle of it, the pool is shabby-no hot tub, $15 for everything on the menu at the restaurant, bellow par lobby decor, low hallway ceilings, a shabby elevator, the li... This was our option hotel after having a bad experience with the Holiday Inn in Itasca. I was not impress when we drove around to look for this place, the building is so so, but when we got in in the lobby is ok, clean, no smell, not hot. AC is working.! We got a king size bed with a sofa bed, the room is clean and tastefully put together. I love the bathroom, the lay out of the room is very trendy and efficient. Smells nice all around.! Check in was quick, friendly staff. Small Crown Plaza hote... Read more

My husband stays here when he is here on business and is always telling me about a lady that works the bar and how wonderful the food is at the restaurant. Last weekend, our daughter joined me on the train to Chicago and we were picked up at the Itasca Metra station. We dropped my husband off at the office and went to the hotel. We had a lovely suite and ate lunch at the hotel restaurant. We were not disappointed! Lovely lunch and the service was wonderful. We also had breakfast there both days ... Read more

We stayed here while visiting Chicago hoping to have a romantic getaway in a nice hotel. The lobby is gorgeous and the rooms are updated but not very nice. We were hoping for a hot tub as the pool seemed nice, but no. Also, no tub at all. The ceiling's were low and lots of kids were running around. It wasn't the ambiance we were hoping for.

I highly recommend having any event at the Crowne Plaza! They went above and beyond to make our reception as perfect as could be. We originally set the date for 6/3/16 a year prior unfortunately do to a family emergency we had to reschedule 3 days before the reception! Not only did Crowne Plaza allow us to reschedule they also did not charge any extra fees and we received a card of concern for our family in the mail with the signatures of the entire staff! Crowne Plaza's staff were very atten... Read more

My wife is some sort of a member so they give a special rate . which keep in mind if you have to leave early it is none refundable. we were there for two nights and had to come home due to an illness in the family and my wife"s credit card was still billed $637.14 for two nights which that is what it was for four nights. We have stayed there every time we go to Wheaton ILL.Needless to say not anymore. NO ONE SEEMED TO CARE ABOUT THE NOISE IN THE HALLWAYS AT NIGHT

The staff was great, fun, smiles! I had no ne request they could not do, but I'm very particular ???( I like earl grey tea ) and they could not always get it. That said, and we can all tell I'm just trying to find something, all was great. One other thing the pool water was cool. The room was great, modern, clean, fresh. The restaurant on site was also good, clean and had a great feel. Thanks and see you again soon.

The hotel is clean, the staff friendly, the pool was nice. But we got charged three times for the room, my company card was charged twice and my personal card was charged once, which is very disturbing because I never gave them that card. I thought I was going through the hotel website to reserve the room, but they must use a third party that we may have used in the past, that kept our credit card information. Took a month to get our money back.
