Chose hotel because of park and fly. When checked in, tried to book trip to airport, to find their transportation is a van that only runs once an hour, and is very limited space! 3 hours were book SOLID so had to go to airport 4 hours ahead of flight!! (15-20 min drive from hotel) Took business card and picture of the details for return flight, and when came back, tried to contact hotel to get ride, and their phones weren't working! Called for over half an hour, and finally got a $35 cab ri... Read more

As you can imagine from the title, we did not have a good stay. The room was okay, but a small hvac unit without any regular control of the room temperature, and it was hard to get and maintain a good temp. The location and hot tub were the two reasons we picked this property, and whole the location can't be changed, the hot tub was drained and construction fencing was around it (see photo). The tv signal sucked, and the wifi barely worked. The bed was comfortable, and the room was pretty clea... Read more

We booked our stay though park, sleep, fly and when we arrived the hotel was in pretty bad shape. It was very old and the location was not that great. I didn't expect a ton of glamor for the price but I was worried about leaving my car there. When we checked in we were notified that the air wasn't working in any of the rooms and the pool wasn't working either. The front desk clerk let us check out the room before we paid to see if it was bearable and it wasn't. We actually left and paid more fo... Read more

I don't like writing bad reviews, but we were looking for a cheap place to stay and keep our car while on vacation. We wanted to get a good night's sleep before our flight left the next day. We got to the front desk and the lady said, "I'm sorry but we have some issues with the hotel. We just turned on the AC today and not sure if you're room will be cool" We didn't have a backup plan so had to stay there. It was 85 during the day and our room was miserably hot!!! We didn't sleep at all th... Read more

I stayed at Elk Grove Hotel over night, in between flights. They offer a airport shuttle service, which is the reason why I stayed there. Not worth the price as you can stay at a better quality hotel if you pay $20/30 more. The room was quite big, but very poorly designed. There were no electrical outlets by the bed that were reachable without moving an d trembly heavy bed. The phone was on a table far away from the bed, so if travelers planning to stay over night to catch an early flight would ... Read more

This is not a 2 star hotel, by any means, maybe a one star or a half star. I would have rather stayed at a Motel 6. This place hasn't been updated in years! The beds and linens are horrific - stuff from nightmares - while laying on the bed, I could feel the bedsprings did into my back, and the sheets were like someone went to a bad fabric store and cut something out with scissors. Bathroom was outdated and franky, pretty gross - I did not shower here. they have a "buffet" in the morning, w... Read more

We signed up for the park/fly program because the hotel is close to ORD. Formerly a Holiday Inn and a Ramada, we learned it was purchased by an investment group that has several other Chicago properties. Yes, they are taking money from this property and investing it elsewhere. The air conditioning was broke, the pool was closed and the overall appearance of the hotel was 'tired'. The large conference center and restaurant and lounge were also closed. Don't believe the photos shown in the websi... Read more
