This is a great hotel for a team to stay. Plenty of room for the kids to run around the hotel. Nice atrium for parents to relax and keep an eye on the kids with the 3 glass elevators. My daughter says the inside looks like a cinnamon roll with all of the rooms layered inside above the atrium. Great breakfast and happy hour. I will complain that the breakfast bar did not open early enough (started at 7am) before the girls had to leave for the day to play volleyball. We stayed there last year and ... Read more

The suite was clean and comfortable. There were problems with the bedroom tv and the toilet wouldn't stop running. When I mentioned this on check out I received a discount on my final bill. The breakfast was as good as any that I have had. There were chefs preparing eggs to order and omelets. A very nice place to stay.

The hotel advertises free wi fi but it turns out that the free wi fi is only in the lobby. If you want wi fi in your room you have to pay. The desk person said that you can have free wi fi if you're a Hilton honors member, and I said I was. However, he then said that you also have to book through Hilton's website, which of course you can't do once you're already checked in. I have no problem with them charging for wi fi, but don't advertise that its free when that's only true for the few of ... Read more

I stayed at the Embassy Suites for one week during a business trip. The hotel provides all of the accommodations you expect from a major chain. The atrium was very nice and the rooms were well-appointed. The River Café was much better than your usual hotel restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast is complimentary and offered a wide variety of options. You can drive to downtown Peoria in 5 minutes or less. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

This is one of the nicer Embassy Suites I've stayed in. I'm a Hilton Diamond member, which means I stay in a hotel almost every week of the year. So trust me when I say this is a great hotel! The rooms feel brand new, the staff is extremely nice, it's right on the river, they have a managers reception, and breakfast is the typically great breakfast set-up from Embassy, the rooms are big, it's quiet, I could go on and on. Bottom line, don't hesitate to stay here. You'll like it.

My husband and I just returned from a convention stay in this wonderful hotel. Yes, there was a break on the room prices for the convention, but it was a terrific stay from beginning to end. The room included a wonderful breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, bacon, donuts, biscuits and gravy, and much, much more. The rooms were spacious, the entire staff was most peasant. We were not the only convention being held at the same time, but the wait times for elevators was mi... Read more

This was a three day regional meeting of ~400 people and the convention center facility and staff performed flawlessly. This meeting was moved to this location for this year after years in another city and the difference between the two venues was evident. Meeting rooms here are well appointed, quiet (even the partitioned rooms) and the facility is well maintained. Food service for an evening banquet was professional and well-executed. I stayed at the Embassy Suites for 2 nights for a convention. It was a good hotel overall, with a great breakfast. The only reason why I didn't give a 5/5 review was the condition of the room. The fridge was very cold, and when I opened the fridge to get a beverage, it was completely iced over. Also I could see that the bathroom was aging with the spout for the tub was not crooked and I had to adjust that. I also had trouble with my T.V, in which maintenance fixed. We stay at this Embassy Suite a couple times per year. For the most part we are very satisfied with the service and our room. We have had issues in the past with lots of noise in rooms & halls into the late night. This time, the problem was a lack of parking spots in the main lot. I cannot walk very far, so i need to park in that lot. There was a cargo trailer parked in one of the parking spots this time for 3 days. I reported this to the front desk & she seemed unconcerned. i pressed the issue,... Read more

Overall stay was fantastic. Very clean and staff is extremely accommodating. We were there for a travel baseball tournament and having the breakfast buffet and the evening reception makes things very easy for us. They opened the breakfast buffet an hour early so we could feed our boys before their early game. We sat out on the patio in the evening overlooking the river and city skyline and had pizzas delivered. just overall a great experience.

Maybe it's me. Maybe it's Hilton. All I want from a hotel room is a quiet, clean place that works. Cookies (The Doubletree) at check in are nice, the manager's happy hour (like here at the Embassy Suites) are fun, but that's not why I choose a hotel. The Embassy Suites in East Peoria is an exceptional property that offered excellent service. The room was a standard Embassy Suite room, but it was very clean and comfortable. They check-in was easy, and the best thing they offered was the complimentary shuttle from the Airport to the hotel. My only problem was that I took an early flight out, and they do not run the shuttle early enough for that early flight. They did schedule a cab for me, but I think next time I will probably attempt to t... Read more

The hotel is a very elegant hotel with an atrium type construction. The hotel is located next to a conference center which we use at all of our meetings. It a short walk either through an enclosed sky walk or through an outside entrance by crossing the street. Love the complimentary breakfast as well as the happy hour in the early evening.

The Blue and White Pottery Club has held their annual convention at this Embassy Suites for the last 5 years. We have loved our stay ever year. The staff aims to please and will go to great lengths to be sure you enjoy your stay. The place is beautiful sitting on the Illinois River next to a large classy conference center. The breakfast is great with most anything you would want to eat. The happy hour is a club favorite. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and furniture.

Stayed on a Saturday for a Peoria area trip. Room was a suite on the "special" 5th floor, wanted to check out other floors but didn't have time. Suite was very nice, very clean, well taken care of. Lots of bathroom and bedroom space, great secondary room. Snacks and beverages included. Get the romance special and enjoy the very tasty champagne and chocolates. Well done! Great view of the river! We did have an issue with room service, the menu we had was old and the hours have apparently recent... Read more

We arrived just before midnight this time. Friendly reception, awesome room, and the best omelet in town! We've stayed here before and it's always been a great experience. Just wondering why no bottled water. Thought that was HHonors standard amenity.

This hotel is a joke for the price they charge on rooms. The hotel is extremely dated and beds terribly uncomfortable for the steep price of $268.00 per night. The staff mischarged over 150 Marines. This is disappointing and there are several other hotels that are better to stay in than this one. Do yourself a favor stay somewhere else.

Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by a very nice young man by the name of Brandon. From the second we entered the door he treated us wonderfully!! He was very attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed and were happy with our room. He was very helpful, kind, and genuine. Great asset to this hotel location!!

Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly staff. The room was great allot of space traveling with 2 children. I like how the suite allowed me and my wife to have a separate space from the kids. The room and the entire holt was very clean and the staff made sure that all our needs were met right away.

Great place to relax on a business trip. Clean, quiet accommodations, overlooking the river in Peoria. Just minutes from my downtown conference center and meetings. Minutes from many dining choices, and Bass Pro Shop. I would definitely stay there every time I have to travel to Peoria.

The check-in area is lovely and the girl who checked us in was very friendly and professional. The atrium area is nicely arranged and beautiful. The suite was clean and comfortable. The evening of free drinks and snacks was fun and appreciated. The bartender and employees attending to that event were friendly and helpful. The bar was nicely appointed and the bartender was great. We played cards in the atrium. It was a great place for hanging out.

Stayed one night at the Embassy in Peoria and experienced exactly what I expect from an Embassy. This is a nice and clean hotel with a great staff. The location is great and the river makes for a pretty setting. Granite city and steak and shake are right next door. The breakfast was good, as usual, with plenty of tables and room for guests. I had a great stay and recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel .. Water fountains, indoor pool, riverside. The only downfall was there was a large, teenage church retreat with limited adult presence .. They were riding the elevators to all floors and at least 40 kids rough housing in the pool. After this group left , a very pleasant stay. This hotel could benefit from valet .

At the spur of the moment, my husband and I decided to sneak away for our anniversary. We didn't want to spend all our time driving so we decided to head to Peoria. We really enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites! We upgraded to the romance package that came with chocolates, champagne and flutes we got to keep. Some nice amenities of the hotel were the complimentary happy hour drinks and snacks and a great breakfast buffet. All were included with the stay. All staff we talked to were helpful. W... Read more
