Third time at this particular hotel in as many years. The repeat visit lays the basis for more visits. Couldn't be more pleased with the quality of everything from staff to accommodation to breakfast.

Have stayed at many Hamptons...this is a newer facility and they have a great staff. Rooms are clean. Dining facility is excellent. Close to the Interstate for easy return to travel the next day. This is the best hotel in Danville, IL.

It was a comfy room; but the wifi didn't work well. They advertise bkfast from 6 to 10. We ate at 8 and bacon all gone. No service no smile. They did let us swim after the 10 posted time. That was nice, but turn up the heat. Hmmm I might stay here again?????

Location isn't great & lacks food options nearby but the hotel rooms are very nice & staff is friendly & helpful. We were in town for the HobNob vintage market & festival & was the second time we stayed here.

This hotel is in my hometown. I booked it for my wedding night. I usually use Hampton when we go out of town and have never been disappointed. I literally went into the hotel to prepay for the room. The woman scanned my card and said it was taken care of. After check out I got a call saying the card was declined. I reiterated that I had already paid for it. I searched through my statements and could not find the charge. I then had to put it on a different card. While this may not seem like a big... Read more

We have stayed in B&Bs in Ireland for a week and the stay at the Blue Fern in Tahlequah tops those in Ireland by a mile! The beautiful home setting of 1900s and the large porch and bountiful lush plants, and the peace and solitude were wonderful and relaxing. Monica was a masterful host and provided a delightful breakfast each day. During June 2016

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. There are some things that need work. The cleanliness is one of those things. The pool was not clear like it should be so that you can easily see the bottom. The carpet in the stairwells was dirty. The room was mostly clean. It had some grime and dead bugs in the corners.

Definitely the place to stay after a twelve hour drive, the staff was both helpful and courteous, very clean rooms, continental breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of food items, and convenient right off the interstate

As one comes to expect from Hampton Inn and suites, the hotel itself was very clean as was the room. For some reason the shower door cop traffic must've been put up for extremely short people because you had to duck under it to get in the shower. The complementary Internet access is useless. The complementary breakfast while consisting of the usual bagels toast dry cereal's oatmeal and various beverages lacked any warm food variety except for sausage patties and some sort of premised egg crepe/o... Good, clean hotel that is children friendly. The pool provided lots of entertainment, and the breakfast was decent. Breakfast staff very polite and helpful. Be aware that if you book more than one room in your name, they will accept the credit cards from other people who are staying in the room, but will still bill the original credit card holder for all rooms if booked through anyone other than Hampton Inn.

And that is a good thing. This is a very typical Hampton inn. I say that in the best way - it is clean and well run. Staff very friendly. Room was a bit small and there was no upgrade for diamond member, but it was exactly what we expected for the night. Breakfast not the best but adequate, overall nice stay and would stay here again. One interesting thing is this hotel sits right in the border of the time zone change - so do not rely on your smart phone, but utilize he room clock to make ... Read more

Hampton Inn has corporate wide changed and standardized their military rate. It is now just a few dollars lower than full price...about the same as AAA, AARP, etc. Hampton Inn use to honor military personnel with a value rate...not any more... The operator at this inn gave me the state worker rate, which is in line with what military rates use to be. I appreciate her patriotic support...not Hamilton Inn's! Fixing roads is important, but so is defending the country. Recommend military folks... Read more

Poor attitude of staff member to deal with customer's room dilemma. I shouldn't have to wade through water in the bathroom to use the rest room! These long reviews don't help as I have to re-live the saga!

The hotel is convenient to the interstate and quiet at night. However, the trash can was overflowing at the entrance upon arrival and when departing. The hot breakfast food was burned and out of coffee at 7 a.m. Then, during this busy time the staff started vaccuming and mopping the main area. Staff needs training.

I'm surprised at the somewhat negative reviews I saw. I am Hilton Honors and stay at Hampton often. This place is truly excellent, and we have high standards. Immaculately clean and well appointed, new, very friendly staff, breakfast bar was better than usual fare but so well presented, and Pamela in charge of breakfast was fastidious in cleanliness and care for keeping the place neat and clean. My wife noted that "it seemed like someone is really proud of this kitchen", and Pamela clearly was. ... Read more

Quite nice amenities, decor and rooms. One of the nicest hot-tubs I've enjoyed in awhile. Breakfast was the standard offered by Hampton. Downside is that it's kind in an industrial park and on the outside of town. Still very nice motel and would stay their again.

I came to Danville for a funeral in late August 2016. This being the least pleasant but necessary trip, I was expecting a run of the mill experience, but instead I was surprised with some of the best customer service I have ever received. My best friend in Denver set this room up for me, and spoke with Jamie, the General Manager at this location, to see if she would be able to accommodate an early check in for me, as my travel hours were constricted and quick. Room HVAC filter had not been changed in months/years. Light would not shine thru it. Staff tried to help but hotel seemed to have only one person working a shift...lot to do without assistance. Management seems to be saving money by not providing full services. Staff person was helpful but had no way to fix problem, If one has any respiratory or allergy problems, be careful of contaminated air left behind by other people. HINT---Check A/C filters first.

Arrived late, Wifi signal was poor in our room, 3rd floor on the end, never got on the Wifi. Breakfast was normal for Hampton, bacon way under cooked other food good. Front desk staff nice. Room was fairly clean, had a bench at the end of the bed that was stained. Bed clean, bathroom clean. Overall about an average Hampton, would not have a problem staying here again. Not hotel's fault but not any fast food restaurant's at this exit only a Big Boy..

My expectations were low given the small town and Expedia listed all the hotels in the area at 2.5 stars. However I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room and hotel was, as if I were in the higher class sister brands. The staff was very nice and attentive (Desiree especially). I visited one of the other hotels across the street and after going into their room, mine felt like a palace. Very happy with my choice.

The PROS--The rooms are nice. We had a regular King room and it was comfortable with a big bathroom. The staff for the most part was very friendly. The CONS- I think we had the same room as the poster below as it did not have Internet and a stain on the bench. We called the desk about the internet but they could not help. We're way too loyal to the Hilton line. This stay certainly proved that. We've stayed in Hiltons all over North America and this is the first time I've ever wanted to scream. They seriously did not have pillows. When I went to ask for them there was 3 of them up front talking very loudly and rudely about another employee. I went back to my room and had my husband go ask. They sent back blankets for us to roll up and use. We all woke up with headaches, which we had the entire next day. I won't go... Read more
