Booked through Park/sleep/fly website. Paid deposit. They did not have my reservation in their system. Got room w/o issue. However, amount they charged was not correct. Desk fixed but did not get credit for deposit. Returned 3 days later for another night before driving home. Reservation again not found. Showed desk my email confirmation. Again got room w/o issue. I am now waiting for callback from Holiday Inn to credit me the overcharge. Otherwise, room met our needs. Clean, comfortable.

My family decided to stay the night here before our trip to Florida. The hotel was nice and clean. The pool area was spectacular. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient. The shuttle drivers were very friendly and professional. We ate dinner at the William Tell Restaurant. The food was great. We would stay here again.

I visited this hotel on a school trip and we made quite a mess. The housecleaning staff cleared it up with pleasure! All of the appliances in our room were great and everything worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable and it was a wonderful trip for everybody! But we think they may have stolen our popcorn...

We used this hotel for our wedding guests. They had a full bar and restaurant for our guests. There is not a complimentary breakfast, but their weekend buffet is AMAZING. Great place for wedding receptions (small and large). Great outdoor area for pictures. Olympic sized pool (very clean). About 15 min drive to Midway airport.

Super clean with excellent bedding, nice room size, very helpful staff. Pool area huge and inviting but needs serious updating as the atrium ceiling leaked in the rain storm we had. Water poured into the pool from above. Breakfast is excellent. Service is top.

I love this hotel. Huge pool, jacuzzi that is always hot, great steam room and sauna. Great workout room with shower area. Hotel is older but very well maintained and always a friendly staff. No matter how big the party is downstairs no noise!

The staff is always very helpful and pleasant. Brittany is always cheerful and happy to help. While the hotel in general needs some updates, it is a very homy and comfortable place to stay. I am here frequently and enjoy the staff.

I first have to compliment the front desk staff for being very helpful. I called a couple days before staying there asking about taxi costs to MDW since I was leaving the hotel in the morning before the shuttle started. She told me that on my arrival they would set it up with the taxi company and with the hotel discount would be $20. Well that is exactly how it worked and at check in the front desk reserved a taxi for me. The next morning the taxi service sent me a text when the driver was d... Read more

First: would I stay here again? Absolutely, the staff was nice and well the pool area was the best I have seen in a non-waterpark hotel yet. To top it off the water was warm and perfect! My kids begged to leave doing other things in Chicago so they could get back to the pool. The rooms are dated, while they have remodeled the bathrooms, the ceilings and fixtures are circa 1989. The beds we ok, the noise levels a bit much for this day and age. The price on the hotel is cheap. I think... Read more

Older Hotel but very clean, friendly people and fair price! Will definitely stay here in the future as my travels require stay in this area of Chicago. Breakfast next morning was really good and great service.

We went to let my special needs daughter go swim for a couple of days. The pool area was hot hot hot the water was hotter than a bathtub if you called the maintenance people they open the doors and turn on the vent to circulate the heat. The extreme heat caused my daughter to have a seizure. I used the laundry room to dry our towels it had no vent in there and was extremely hot to go into to it made me feel very ill. I had to go to the room to get cooled off. I was extremely disappointed in our ... Read more

Stayed at the hotel prior to the wedding. Staff was very hospitable, friendly and more than willing to help out. Had stayed here previously so we knew what to expect. They didn't disappoint. Restaurant is good, but there are many, many options nearby too.

We were there for a convention and the hotel accommodations were great. There was a lot of walking back and forth but that is to be expected if at a convention. The distance from the rooms at the farthest end of the hotel to the restaurant on the other side of the building was a hike so getting a room of the single elevator by the lobby is better. There is a set of double elevators toward the far end of the building to access those rooms too. The elevators had some problems but there was a r... Read more

We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the zoo. Read many of the reviews on TripAdvisor and they were pretty much spot on. The hotel is outdated but it is clean. The restaurant, William Tell is mediocre. Would stay at the hotel again if had a choice but would find somewhere else for dinner. The staff was very friendly.

I would like to say I have visited a lot of hotels in my line of work. I have had great service from time to time, but never like this before. Alyson, Britney, and Cathy went above and beyond to help make my stay wonderful. I was in town to do interviews and they hooked me up with a room I could do the interviews in without interruption. I would have given this place 5/5 if the manager, Jamal would have been just as accommodating. Unfortunately, he was not. He may be a great manager, but he need... Read more

The hotel is lovely. The guest room we stayed in was a bit dated but very clean. The rest of the hotel is beautiful. EXCELLENT staff in the restaurant and at the front desk. Everyone we spoke to went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience We will return.

The building is very old, and you will hear all the noice from the ballroom downstairs, but hey, it is very cheap! On the plus size, the bed is very clean and confortable, they have an ok bar downstair were Bob (bar tender) will serve you with a smile in his face. If you are low on budget, this might be an ok option.

Weekend at the hotel for a family wedding recently. Hotel staff (front desk to housekeeping) were wonderful !! Unfortunately, could not say the same for the reception dinner. Waitress staff (I believe is a separate entity from the hotel) was bickering amongst themselves, disagreeing with us that 'we said we didn't want' certain items (soup/salad) or that it wasn't their table. Seriously?? Then when they brought back the item (soup -- cold!) going on to tell us that it was someone elses faul... Read more

Older hotel that looks and feels dated. They could use some upgrades. That said, I would return here. The staff is great. Very friendly and helpful. Food is good. Room is clean. Although we did not use it they have conference rooms available for large meetings.

Stayed here for business. This is definitely a business hotel - lots of business travelers. There are 2 restaurants attached to property. Room was clean (stayed on 7th floor) which had a brick wall in the room - interesting. Also, if you stay on the 7th floor the electric for the room is power strips on the side of desk and night stands. Bed was good and room was quiet. Nice manager reception during my stay - wine, beer & cheese.

Having scheduled a 5 am flight from Midway for my duaghter, we realized we needed to find a nearby hotel. This hotel is a 15-18 minute trip to Midway and right off I55 so it fit our needs. The hotel is in serious need of an update, but since we stayed only 22 hours, we overlooked the brick wall. We had several issues that would normally result in a 2 or 3 star rating, but we were very happy with the hotel's response, we would stay here again. *Our bill contained room charges despite using Prio... We decided to stay overnight before leaving on a gambling junket out of Midway Airport and found some good reviews for this hotel for the Park, Sleep, Fly program. Yes, it is true that this is not a newer or recently renovated property, but this is certainly not some third world, squalid hovel - in fact, far from it. It may be dated, but then, so are we. Because we were Park, Sleep, Fly we didn't use all, or nearly all of the hotel's amenities, but from what I could tell there was a pool, work ... Read more
