I was not happy to find out there is no generator at this hotel. There was a power outage that lasted for roughly 12 hours. I have a handicap wife and two kids under the age of 9. This hotel is safety issues which needs to be addresed ASAP.

Settled among a fairly large group of low-priced and not very attractive hotels just across the Mississippi from St. Louis, the Doubletree is beautiful, immaculate, comfortable, with a great buffet breakfast. We were amazed to find anything so truly lovely settled in with cheap food, hotels, etc. Highly recommended! Highway literally about one city block away, then you are off to St. Louis or Chicago. We had lots of fun swimming. The hotel location was perfect. Close enough to everything in Saint Louis. We visited the Arch, Grants Farm and Six Flags. Stayed one night before traveling on. Hotel rooms were large and clean. Older facility that has been refurbished. Used the electronic room key with the Hilton app, never went to the front desk! Rooms did not have a fridge or microwave, not a big deal for one night. Indoor pool seemed popular. Great location, easy on/off of freeway. Close to Walmart, Starbucks and several eating places. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here to visit Cahokia Mounds. Conveniently located, safe area with restaurant options nearby. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. One of our electronic keys initially did not work, and staff member went to desk to fix problem for us, without us needing to ask; returned fixed key to us in room, with a smile. Nice pool. Will stay here again when visiting city of St Louis, too!

Very nice hotel for a business trip. Hotel is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. It has a decent bar and lounge and good overall restaurant ( Porters ) although restaurant is getting over priced for the area. It meets all the usual needs for a business trip and is likely the best hotel in Collinsville. Stay here often and would recommend if you need to stay in the area.

The warm cookies were SOOO nice when we checked in. Stayed here for a convention in St. Louis. Had to come here because of being late booking. I'm glad I did. The drive was easy each day and only 10 minutes from the convention center. The ML King bridge takes you right to the center. The room had great space to stretch out, but the bathroom was very small. No refrigerator was a disappointment as well. Nice indoor pool that my son enjoyed very much. Great price for a big, clean room.

Just a one night stay. Though they greeted me as a HH Gold member, I was placed in a non-HH room (e.g. w/o the perks). But they rectified with some spiffs when I said they didnt have to move me. A great steakhouse onsite (Porter's) worth a stop even if you're not staying here.

We stopped at the DoubleTree Hotel in Collinsville, Ill. tired after a long day's drive, traveling east, coming through St. Louis during rush hour. As we walked through the doors into the hotel, we came into a lovely lobby area, and, of course, the wonderful smell of their famous chocolate chip cookies. That's when we started to relax. We went to our very comfortable room on the HH floor, and, after a good night's sleep, we headed for breakfast and were met by a very friendly and attentive wa... Read more

I was here for a business training conference. The facilities, public areas and guest rooms were very nice. Dinner in the restaurant was very good (other than the service). The service in the restaurant and at the meeting was horrible. They ran out of water at breakfast and during the meetings and didn't refill, they ran out of silverware at the meetings breakfast buffet and left a quarter of people standing for 6 minutes while they got more. The opening reception was a joke, the carving st... Read more

I stay in a lot of hotels for work and chose this based on Trip Advisor. The registration area is nice and I appreciated the flavored waters and coffee in the lobby. However, my room was extremely dated and run down. It was clean but felt a little unclean due to age. I did not want to put bare feet on the carpet. also, I've grown accustomed to fre breakfast. They did not offer this. I will probably choose a different hotel for future trips.

Attended a business conference, facilities were just fine for our needs. Staff was a little loud during our speakers (setting up for meals, rolling trash bins and so forth) but this was a good facility overall. Decent rooms, decent food - no major complaints.

All of the amenities are available in this hotel. Huge gathering places, indoor and out. Very attractive outdoor area with fire pit. Excellent restaurant, Porters Steak house. Comfortable rooms. Not really geared toward families, but I imagine it would work out for a brief stay.

Nicely placed out of town but maybe a bit too far out of town if you have no car. We got the metro and then a $ 20 cab ride which was more than compensated by the service and lower price. The young man behind the counter was very helpful and impressed us with his attitude. Plenty of eating houses within walking distance.
