The spa suits are amazing, and every single person we interacted with went above an beyond to make our stay perfect. Although it can be pricey, you get what you pay for. It is truly an indulgence that must be experienced.

Large rooms, high ceilings, great view. The bathrooms have a great shower tub combo side by side sharing one door. Room service is fast, hot, and good quality. They gave our two kids individual stuffed animals as we arrived. It is in a great location if you are planning on walking around downtown. It was a short three block walk to the train to head to Wrigley field. Would stay here again.

From the moment we were greeted by the doorman to the front desk personnel offering us a hot towel and bottled water at check in, I knew we made the right hotel choice. Our room was elegant & high tech. It had one of the largest hotel room flat screen TVā??s I have ever seen. The bathroom was fabulous with its large shower and walk through to the soaking tub design. The TV in the bathroom mirror was also a nice touch. All staff members that we encountered were personable & professional. They wer... Read more

I loved the room, especially the soaking tub! The only downside was the price point on items in the minibar. For example, one bottle of water it cost $45. Luckily, there is a Walgreens right next-door where you can buy a perfectly lovely bottle of water for two dollars.

I don't write reviews too often but thought I'd write one after this stay. The room was beautiful, probably the largest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room. But the reason I'm writing this review is because of some great service after my run outside this morning. When I got back to the hotel (probably a bit sweaty) and was walking past the front desk to get to the elevators one of the staff members at the front desk noticed I had been running and she gave me an ice cold bottle of water to take... This property is exquisitely appointed. The staff is professional yet personal. From room service to Restaurant 16, the food is delicious. The spa technicians and facility are the very best, and we've experienced many. Our room was better than home away from home could be imagined. The hotel is also very well located and the views are spectacular. I would (have and will) return in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful hotel. The staff was the nicest one we have encountered. The room was lovely, very elegant and understated. The view from the floor to ceiling windows was spectacular. At night it was like a fairy land with all the lights. Our room had a "kitchen" that was stocked with the finest amenities. We were disappointed that Sixteen restaurant was closed for Sunday and Memorial Day as that was one thing we hoped to experience...maybe next time. The location is perfect for going on th... My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in late June. The location is excellent. We took the Architectural Boat Tour and it was an easy 5 minute walk. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The room was very well appointed. Pretty bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Nice view. Even had a little kitchenette with dishwasher, cooktop, and microwave - seemed odd for this type of hotel - but could be convenient I guess. I've stayed in many 5-star type properties before and there is an expected posh level when you pay for a few nights in one of these places. Trump Tower didn't disappoint. The room itself wasn't huge, but it had tall ceilings which made everything feel very open. Everything was soft, clean, and inviting with modern flair. It is well appointed, with the usual items one expects such as slippers and robes. Overall for the room we had, it was nice, and the service was excellent. Everyone went above ... Read more

Iconic building, great location and beautiful rooms as you would expect from a 5 star establishment. However, doesn't compare in terms of service and public rooms with the Langham across the road. Rooftop bar is amazing but no priority for hotel guests so if full you have to wait inline. Very limited public space to hold meetings No business centre Housekeeping was done to their schedule not when guests requested it. Avoid breakfast - feels like an afterthought and dreadful service

Ok, so we are gradually working our way around Chicago to visit all of the AMEX FHR plan hotels to try them out, since we travel to the city several times a year. Variety is the spice of life, so they say. This trip, we were fortunate enough to stay at Mr. Trump's hotel, and it was a fabulous, if "Trumpian" experience. First, the superlatives: the upgraded room we were assigned was FABULOUS! Full living room and bedroom with fireplace, massive flat screen TVs, full kitchen, Sub-zero, Miele dis... Read more

We had our anniversary celebration in this place. Great location in downtown Chicago, the terrace has awesome view of the city as well as the Chicago river meets the great lake. Room is spacious and clean, with nice view. My only complaint is the food and drink service of the terrace- very bland taste, from cocktails to bar food to desserts. This doesn't match the high standard of other aspects of this hotel.

Although I have visited Chicago several times, this was my first stay at Trump International. It was my first of many as I will definitely be returning. There was not a single detail overlooked in this wonderful hotel. The room was spacious and absolutely lovely. I especially appreciated the kitchenette with high-end appliances. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and quite helpful. The location is centrally located and an easy walk to everything. I am looking forward to future Chicago... Read more

Recommended to go for a drink and sit on the patio overlooking the river. Once we got up to the bar the hostess' could barely be bothered. There were 5 of us and we were escorted to a table in a corner with no view of the river. My adult son politely asked if we could move to a table closer to get a view of the river(there were many which were empty) we were told they were reserved with an attitude. When I opened the menu to order the prices were unbelievable. Honestly I would have been more tha... Read more

The Trump Chicago would have to be my favorite stay in all of Chicago! The building is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The room I always stay in is on the 27th Mezzanine floor. It has the most spectacular views of Lake Michigan through the stunning floor to ceiling windows. Rolling over in the morning to the views out of the master Suite windows are absolutely breathtaking. I strongly suggest you order room service for breakfast; the waffles are to die for! The house car (Cadillac Escalade)... Read more

I stayed at this hotel in the past and had a wonderful experience. So, I decided to choose this hotel again for a birthday celebration. Little did I know that what I had ordered up to the room was not there when I arrived, making it look like a simple hotel room and making me feel embarrassed. When I called and addressed the issue all they did was send up two cookies on a plate with a glass of milk as a replacement "gift". It was so impersonal and not once did it say "happy birthday Steve" on an... Read more

Trump hotel in Chicago was a big surprise - it is one of the best hotels i ever stayed, with little details in all aspects, feeling is like it was made personally for you, made by rich, successful and experienced high level traveller. From now i will always chose Trump hotel if it is available in that place! We had a wonderful stay! Breakfast place on 16 floor has wonderful views and great food selection, especially berry bowl - which is rare and my favorite.

Really bummed out about my experience with the Hotel. When staying at a 5 Star hotel, I would expect the ultimate experience. The room was not ready after 3pm, my card was authorized prior to my arrival (1 day before) and was told it would be removed by my day of arrival. It is now 3 days later, and the transaction is still showing as pending, my 14 year old son was pulled aside by security because he was taking pictures in the lobby and was asked his name, where his mom was and what room numbe... Very large screen TV, comfortable lounge chair with ottoman, soaking tub, pillow menu, sleeper sofa (in case you have extra guests or children staying with you), Kitchenette with high end appliances (although oddly enough equipped with very few pans and utensils that would be required to make anything but a piece of toast or a pot of pasta), extremely well stocked mini bar and snack selection. We paid $1,000 a night for two nights for our wedding this past weekend. Called two weeks prior for early check in and confirmed then that 12noon was ok (it was the reservation specialists suggestion). Arrived at 2:30 on check in day and were told they had the confirmation but we had to wait until 3. Without explanation or any sort of empathy for the next two days we were about to have. I just simply wanted to say that, if you want to get the best experience at this trump, you must stay at their executive king room facing south east. I am a firm believer of room with view, that said, this is possibly the best view that any hotel in Chicago could offer! Amenity wise, this hotel has a Michelin 2 star restaurant called sixteen and it is also a must try destination! Valet is a hefty $73 but with in and out privileges. I've been to some very nice hotels, but none finer than this one. We were upgraded to a suite that was bigger that many condos in Chicago! everything was first class, and the attention to detail superb. We had corporate meetings here, and everything from the food, to the meeting room, to the clean up and refreshing of the tables between breaks was fantastic! Trump made for an excellent meeting place, and a great place to spend a couple of days!

I have stayed here many times and service is going down. See my prior reviews for all the positives; still beautiful rooms. Cons: front desk staff not well trained, room was not available at 2pm and would not offer any other rooms even though other guests checked in, did not receive call until 4pm, they offered not upgrade, 2X front desk stated systems not working, at check out they charged me for a small bottle of H20 even thought system could not track it.

I recently stayed at the Trump International. Although there has in the past been much to recommend this hotel .... well now something is very amiss there and you should be warned.
