We were booked here for a business meeting at the Medical Center. Staff was very courteous, helpful, and welcoming. Room was spotless and comfortable. Food at on-site restaurant was very good and service was excellent.

First impressions last forever. This was my first time staying at a Marriott hotel. I booked our room months in advance of our arrival date. Arrived at 4:10 p.m. and room was not ready. Took 3 people to confirm the room was NOT ready. Spent 12 mins waiting to get a room. No upgrade was offered or same style room we originally booked was offered. Was given a standard room with a $30.00 discount. The room was OK, however the beds were very small for double occupancy and way too high off the floor!... Read more

I am here on business and am a frequent guest of the Marriott brand of hotels and properties around the country. Since becoming a member of their guest program, several years ago, I have been rarely disappointed in their high level of service and this particular location is no exception. From the minute you drop your car at the valet, you are able to check in and get to your room within minutes. Kathleen at the front desk is an exceptional employee who is thoughtful, professional, and very eng... Read more

I had to stay at this hotel under sad circumstances. A relative was very ill and had to be hospitalized at Rush University Medical Center, just a block away. The room was incredibly nice. I just loved the luxurious fluffy white bedding. The fitness room gave me a chance to run even on rainy days. The ice cold fruit water in the lobby was a refreshing touch. The staff at the desk was warm and supportive. I found the entire hotel experience to be an absolute oasis. Thank you.

Travelling for business can be tough for the traveler and the business they are required to handle while away from the office and working from a hotel room. This location offers high speed internet connections right from the room, a attractive desk space to work from with great lighting and plenty of storage around the desk space for working with multiple sets of printed info. The bedding is of the highest standard for comfort and the heat/air are excellent. The over cleanliness of the facility... Read more

My wife and I stayed here June 11, 2016 for The Cure concert at UIC Pavilion. The hotel is a convenient location to the Pavilion and to the Little Italy restaurants. We took the free shuttle to Davanti on Taylor St for dinner. The shuttle leaves on the hour and half hour and will take you anywhere within a one mile radius. it only seats 9 passengers but they seemed like they'd make another run if more people needed a ride. Uber and taxis service is also available. A phone call to the hotel will ... Read more

We stayed here for 1 Saturday night in June for a concert at UIC. It was super convenient, we walked everywhere. Very close to Little Italy so we had a fantastic dinner. Room was very spacious and beds were super comfortable. Hallways were a little bit loud with slamming doors and our shower did not drain very well. The shower head was awesome though. It was about 1 10 minute Uber ride from Ogilivie. Will stay here again for sure.

I booked my reservation back in Jan 2016 for a high, pre-paid 3 nights stay at this hotel. I was overcharged $561 something after they already charged me my whole stay. It took multiple phone calls to get it resolve. I found it is ridiculous to have to solve problem PRIOR to arrival! The night before my scheduled arrival date, i received a what I would consider a threatening email. Is said due to the hotel is full, they have relocated me to another "boutique" hotel near by for the same price. Ba... Read more

Stayed here for a short visit to Rush and UIC. It's a deceptively small hotel but don' let that fool you. The place is great, walking distance from either hospital and Taylor street easts, close to the rail line to get downtown or fast Uber drivers to get you where you ned to go (if they still allow this once this get published). the lounge and bar area are small but lively. The bartender is great, friendly and knowledgable. I would say he was the star of my stay, offering great conversatio... Read more

The staff are very friendly and accommodating from management to restaurant servers, to housekeeping, to valets. Front desk agents are exceptional. The bar and restaurant are very good. The restaurant hot wings are a must for all. Rooms are spacious and bright. Located just west of the Chicago Loop this is great venue, especially if you are visiting one of the medical centers in the Chicago Medical District. The Hotel van will take you to most Chicago restaurants and the Loop. I frequently... Read more

It is very close to the medical center and the UIC medical center. I walked from the hotel to the Greek neighborhood and it was just 25 minute walk. It is located close to the metro station. Rooms are spacious, clean, and the mattress was excellent. My only concern is the price, a little bit pricey.

This was a terrific hotel to stay for an event at the United Center. I brought my daughter to see Adele in concert at the United Center. Of course she didn't disappoint. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the venue. In addition, the shuttle will take you anywhere within a mile of the property. The driver was great and told us when he dropped us off where he would pick us up. It was really nice with a sold out concert to not worry about parking. For that matter all of the sta... Read more

I was having a knee replacement across the street at Rush Ortho so I stayed here for 2 nights. Great location...and the service is very good. Marriott just needs to spend some money updating. The breakfast buffet is very good...$20.00. There are many good restaurants around this property.

During my stay, while boarding the Marriott courtesy shuttle, a hotel guest groped me. I reported the incident to the employee who was working at the front desk (Oscar). He asked me whether I wanted to notify the police and I declined because I could not identify the guest beyond a summary description and also because he was no longer there. Oscar notified the General Manager (Mansour Njie) by phone to inform him of what had happened, then Oscar and I filed a report, which I signed. He told ... Read more

We stayed here because of the proximity to the United Center (we saw Barbra Streisand!!!) and we were delighted. The rooms were very clean, well appointed, and unbelievably quiet! The beds were comfy and made for a great night's rest. The staff was very friendly and they had a shuttle to and from the venue. We also had dinner and breakfast in the hotel's restaurant and we were quite pleased. We will definitely stay here when we visit Chicago again!!
