The staff, shuttle drivers, housekeeping were all simply terrific! The beds were clean, comfortable; nice spacious bathroom; included a fridge; coffee in the room. Only cons - no continental b-fast, and the buffet was $20 (good though).

Shuttle was helpful and convenient to 2 mile radius, we were able to walk to Rosebud for a great Italian dinner, the room was spacious and clean. Great experience. Restaurant for breakfast and lunch worked well too. They accommodated a highly allergic person as well.

I stayed at the Marriott for two nights during a business trip. The hotel was lovely, with a big comfortable lobby for relaxing and staff that went above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming. My room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was a five minute walk to the Rush Medical Center where I had my meetings. I would gladly stay in this hotel again.

Initially, parking is a bit of a problem. Unloading is difficult. There's just a small space where cones are left that the valet will allow you to park, so other cars can get by. However, unlike other TripAdvisor comments, to clarify, there is a parking garage directly across the street for $20. So, one doesn't have to use Valet, if he or she doesn't want to. However, it is true that Valet parking is $45. But, this is Chicago and many hotels have Valet ranging from $40-$50. The room itsel... Read more

This hotel is close to Medical District. Parking is an issue, and only valet parking is offered which is not cheap. Relatively safe area, but not much you can enjoy free time around the hotel. The hotel restaurant offers some menus, but not impressive. Good wifi speed. Average room conditions.

If you've stayed in other Marriotts, lower your expectations for this one.It is very dated. It should be a Category 2, not a Category 7 hotel. It's more like a budget hotel. Staff is fine but hotel is very old and tired. Location near the blue-line train and hospitals might be the only reason you'd want to stay here.

The hotel was fine and has been updated. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and all was good. The "club" was pretty low key, but it was ok for some snacks and a decent breakfast without going out. Parking is $45 ON valet which is crazy, but that is chicago. Also, my one complaint was while I had the AC on since we have had a warm fall, it just seemed to be blowing air. I opened a window to get cooler air in which worked, but couldn't sleep due to street noise. I think ... Read more

Very nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a free shuttle within a certain distance. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Did have difficulty with system for the elevator. You have to use your room key to go up and it took several tries before it worked.

I picked this location because it is close to a concert venue I has going to that night. Hotel shuttle dropped me off at the venue but it wasn't running when the show was over. I took a taxi back to the hotel which was right outside venue. Check in was easy and I used a AAA discount on a room and valet parking package. Only valet parking is available which usually costs $46 a night. Room was very nicely furnished. Only complaint would be loud slamming doors early in the morning and loud talking ... Read more
